Your teaching contains several serious doctrinal errors when examined in light of Scripture. While it uses biblical language and verses, the underlying message departs from sound biblical truth on key points related to salvation, the work of the Holy Spirit, and assurance.

The most concerning false teaching you have here is the claim that believers who have trusted in Christ, received the Spirit, and been justified can still be unconverted, spiritually blind, and ultimately apostate unless they later receive a second, separate outpouring of the “Latter Rain.” Scripture teaches the opposite. According to the New Testament, the moment a person genuinely believes in Christ, they are born again, justified, and indwelt by the Holy Spirit (John 3:3–8; Romans 5:1; Ephesians 1:13–14). There is no biblical basis for dividing the work of the Spirit into "Early Rain" and "Latter Rain" in a way that makes initial salvation incomplete or insufficient. Romans 8:9 clearly states that “if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Him,” implying that every true believer has the Spirit from the moment of conversion.

Additionally, the assertion that “no babe” in Christ since the first century has avoided apostasy is entirely contrary to Scripture. It denies the preserving grace of God and contradicts passages like Philippians 1:6, which says, “He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ,” and Jude 24, which affirms that God is able “to keep you from stumbling.” While spiritual growth is necessary, and believers are called to persevere, true believers are not abandoned to inevitable apostasy. Jesus said, “My sheep hear my voice... I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one will snatch them out of my hand” (John 10:27–28).

The teaching also distorts Matthew 24:15 by applying it inwardly to an individual’s spiritual condition, rather than interpreting it as Jesus intended—in its eschatological and prophetic context. The same misuse happens with other verses, like those from Hosea and Psalms, where poetic or prophetic imagery is lifted out of context to build a framework not supported by the New Testament gospel.

In short, this teaching undermines the sufficiency of Christ’s finished work and the completeness of the new birth. It shifts the foundation of salvation away from faith in Christ alone and introduces a hidden “second blessing” necessary for final conversion, which is not taught anywhere in Scripture. This is a false teaching and should be rejected in light of the clear gospel presented throughout the New Testament.

Don’t bother trying to sell me this false teaching. I can read the Bible for myself, and what you’re pushing isn’t in it. It’s false teaching, plain and simple. Stop posting this nonsense on my thread.
Dear bdavidc,
A babe is justified by faith but they will not remain faithful.

You said that when a person "genuinely believes in Christ, they are born again, justified, and indwelt by the Holy Spirit".

Scripture teaches that when a person genuinely believes in Christ, it is because Christ gave them the Early Rain of the Spirit beforehand. At that point, they are justified and have a small measure of the Spirit within them. It is not the baptism of the Spirit. In this weak spiritual condition , it is easy for Satan to deceive them and cause them to follow him instead of the true Christ. When they do this, they have become unfaithful and are no longer justified. For that reason, Christ will "come again" to His Elect and restore their faith with the Latter Rain of the Spirit. This is when Christ brings salvation:

Heb 9:28 So Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who (Elect babes) are waiting for him.

When Christ comes to a person the first time and gives them the Early Rain, He appears to them "in the flesh" because they remain spiritually blind and carnally minded. They can understand "Christ and Him crucified" (1Cor 2:2) but little else. When He returns to them after a time of waiting, He will bring the baptism of the Spirit and the baptism of Fire:

Mat 3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit (Latter Rain), and with Fire (Day of the Lord/judgment).

These two baptisms will convert the Elect babe who has been waiting on the Lord to return.

John said that apostate believers will deny that Christ ever appeared in the flesh to them. This happens because the Early Rain of the Spirit is concealed from them.

2John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

Hos 6:3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he (Christ) shall come unto us as the Rain, as the Latter (spiritually appear) and Early Rain (appear in the flesh) unto the earth.

Since you only believe in the baptism of the Spirit (Latter Rain), what do you believe the Early Rain represents? Does it not apply to you? Do you believe that you have never experience it?

The truth was delivered to my heart/ spirit....when it became Born Of The Spirit.....no Bible in sight.

Yes...as we can see...quite a few believe very differently to you or I...

Personally I don’t think he should be shoving down your throat what he believes...God wouldn’t do that...I’ve got him on ignore ....as I haven’t a clue what this early rain or latter rain means....I just know by Gods Living testimony, that my spirit is Born Again....which came by supernatural divine heart revelation...Spirit gives birth to spirit.
Maybe this will help you with it:

Once again your interpretation of Scripture is not only speculative but dangerously misleading. You’re twisting verses out of context to build a theology that simply isn’t found in the Bible. That might work on someone unfamiliar with God’s Word—but it won’t work on me. I know my Bible, and it is the source of truth, not man-made teachings or mystical interpretations.

Let’s begin with your central claim—that a "babe" is justified by faith but will not remain faithful. That idea directly contradicts the clear teaching of Scripture. Romans 5:1 says, “Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.” There is no hint that this justification is temporary or fragile. When someone is truly born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13-14), they belong to Christ and are kept by Him. Jesus Himself said in John 10:28-29, “I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.” The suggestion that Satan can deceive a justified believer into losing that justification contradicts the very promises of God.

You also introduce a separation between the so-called “early rain” and “latter rain” to create a two-stage salvation—initial faith followed by true salvation later. That idea is nowhere taught in Scripture. You’ve taken Hosea 6:3 and twisted its poetic, prophetic imagery into a rigid doctrinal system that Scripture doesn’t support. Hosea is speaking about the Lord’s faithfulness to refresh and revive His people—not establishing a timeline of partial and complete salvation.

Hebrews 9:28 does not teach that Christ “brings salvation” only at a second, private encounter with each individual. It speaks of Christ’s second coming in the future—the return of Jesus at the end of the age—to bring final redemption to those who are already His. It is not describing some second internal revelation to an “elect babe.”

Your interpretation of 2 John 1:7 is also flawed. John is warning about Gnostics who denied that Jesus literally came in human flesh. This is a historical and doctrinal point about the incarnation, not a secret phase of spiritual growth. You’re using this verse as if it supports your rain theory—but it doesn’t.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit happens at the moment of true faith, not at a later “latter rain” event. 1 Corinthians 12:13 says, “For we were all baptized by one Spirit into one body—whether Jews or Greeks, slave or free.” There's no second class of Christians waiting for another baptism to become truly saved. And Matthew 3:11 points to Pentecost and ultimately to Christ’s role as the giver of the Holy Spirit—not a personal, mystical timeline of progressive justification.

In short, what you're teaching is a false gospel—one that adds confusion, undermines the assurance of salvation, and invents unbiblical categories of spiritual experience. I urge you to return to the plain reading of Scripture, rightly dividing the Word of Truth (2 Timothy 2:15), and stop teaching things that God never said.

Stop spreading your false doctrine and trying to deceive people. If you keep posting on my thread, you’ll continue to be exposed for the false teacher you are.
You’re living proof of what I’ve been saying—false teachers are everywhere.

Stop with your false doctrine and attempts to deceive people. If you keep posting on my thread, you’ll continue to be exposed as the false teacher you are. You’re proof that my point is true—false teachers are everywhere. Everyone, study your Bibles so smooth-talking deceivers like this one don’t fool you.
Dear bdavidc,
Yes, false teachers are everywhere. Because they are, a babe will choose the one that is most pleasing to them.

The truth of Christ is not pleasing to carnally minded people and will always be rejected by them. They will always prefer the Old Wine. For that reason, Christ must convert a person before they will understand. In this age, Christ is only doing that for His Elect.

If salvation was up to the person to understand so that they can develop their own faith in Christ, why do you suppose scripture is written in a mystery?

1Cor 2:7 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

1Cor 2:13 These things we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Holy Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual things
(words) with spiritual (words).

Truth is taught in Christ's spiritual language using "spirit words" which carry meanings that are different from what man's wisdom teaches. Christ's spirit words are then used in many different analogies, parables, types and prophecies. Truth is also taught "a little here and a little there, line upon line, concept upon concept". This makes it impossible for a carnally minded individual (includes babes) to understand. Christ purposely teaches His truth in this manner so that babes who draw milk cannot understand it. As a result, all the babes will "fall backward, be broken, snared and taken" by Satan (Isa 28:9-12).

The truth I just presented is omitted from your beliefs.

Since you cannot receive the scriptures that I have presented, I will move onto another thread unless another member posts to me here.

My questions are just for you to reflect upon.

I'm content with the thread, FaithWillDo is simply reinforcing my point about how persistent false teachers can be in spreading incorrect doctrine and leading others away from the true meaning of the Bible. I believe the below.

"Beloved, although I was very eager to write to you about our common salvation, I found it necessary to write appealing to you to contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints. For certain people have crept in unnoticed who long ago were designated for this condemnation, ungodly people, who pervert the grace of our God into sensuality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ." Jude 1:3-4

They like to make it about themselves and how they are superior to others and know secret things no one else knows, but God has written the Bible so His people can understand it plainly, and all of God’s people have the light of the Holy Spirit to help them understand.

I do not and will not listen to a false teacher, and I’m asking you to stop posting on my thread. What you’re teaching is not the truth of Christ, but a distorted message that twists Scripture to fit a man-made doctrine. The Bible makes it clear that the gospel is for all who believe, not just a secret group you call the "Elect." Romans 1:16 says, “For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes.” Christ does not withhold understanding from those who truly seek Him—He invites all to come to Him (Matthew 11:28). Your continued insistence on dividing people into spiritual classes and claiming hidden truths is not biblical—it’s deception. The Word of God is clear and accessible to all His people, and the Holy Spirit helps every true believer understand it. Stop spreading false doctrine, and again, stop commenting on my thread. You’re a false teacher repent before it is too late.

The Bible is clear about what happens to false gospel teachers:

Galatians 1:8"If anyone preaches another gospel... let him be accursed."

2 Peter 2:1"False teachers... will bring swift destruction on themselves."

Matthew 7:15-23"They come in sheep’s clothing but are inwardly wolves... I will say to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me.’"

2 Corinthians 11:13-15"They disguise themselves as apostles of Christ... Their end will be what their actions deserve."

Jude 1:4"Certain people have crept in unnoticed... denying our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ."

God does not take false teaching lightly. Teach the truth or stay silent.
