Oh, I understand—it's just that I hold firmly to Scripture alone as the final authority. When ideas go beyond or add to what the Bible clearly teaches, they can lead us off course. For those who genuinely follow Christ, His Word must remain the foundation for truth and discernment.
There’s definitely truth in recognizing that we need the Holy Spirit to understand the Word of God. Scripture teaches that spiritual things are spiritually discerned (1 Corinthians 2:14), and apart from the Spirit's work, no one can fully grasp the things of God. However, I want to gently clarify that Scripture doesn't support the idea of "unconverted believers." According to the New Testament, all true believers in Christ are born again, indwelt by the Holy Spirit, and have been converted (John 3:3, Romans 8:9, 2 Corinthians 5:17). While believers may be at different stages of maturity—some still needing milk and others ready for solid food (Hebrews 5:12–14)—they are all part of God's family through faith in Jesus.
When Paul calls believers "saints" or says they are "called to be saints," he is not referring to unconverted people. Rather, he is addressing those who have already responded to the call of God by faith. The calling Paul speaks of is effectual—it results in salvation (Romans 8:30). Spiritual growth is a process, and we all begin as spiritual infants, but we are still counted as saved and secure in Christ from the moment we believe.
The idea that believers must receive two separate "rains" or stages of the Spirit to be truly converted doesn’t align with Scripture. When someone believes the gospel, they are sealed with the Holy Spirit (Ephesians 1:13). There's no biblical distinction between an “Early Rain” that doesn’t convert and a “Latter Rain” that does. Growth in understanding comes over time through the Spirit’s work in sanctifying us, not through two separate experiences of conversion.
It’s true that the church is not perfect—there are false teachers and people who profess faith but don’t truly possess it (Matthew 7:21–23). But we also see throughout Scripture that Christ is building His church, and the gates of hell will not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18). We should be careful not to assume that most believers are blind or deceived just because we see differences or immaturity. God is faithful to complete the good work He begins in His people (Philippians 1:6).
Ultimately, yes, we all need the Holy Spirit to open our eyes, and it’s only by His grace that we understand the deeper truths of God’s Word. But the moment a person trusts in Christ, they are fully justified and brought into the light, even if they are still learning to walk in it more clearly. Let’s encourage one another to grow in grace and knowledge—not by dividing believers into categories, but by pointing each other back to Christ and His Word.

Do you believe that the Apostles were converted when they made their confession of faith when they walked with Christ or when they received the Latter Rain of the Spirit on the Day of Pentecost?
The Apostles received the Early Rain of the Spirit (this is not the baptism) when they walked with Christ. Because they did, they made a confession of faith and called Jesus "Lord".
1Cor 12:3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.
Mat 16:15 He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? 16 And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. 17 nd Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven (blessed because he was given the Early Rain).
If Peter and the others had not been given the Early Rain, they could not have recognized who Jesus was, nor could they have called Him "Lord". At that point, they were "babes" and could not understand the spiritual teachings of Christ. They needed to Spirit of Truth (Latter Rain) to come so that their spiritual blindness would be healed.
The churches of the world are full of believers who have only received the Early Rain of the Spirit. The Early Rain gave them a measure of faith and certain spiritual gifts but they remained spiritually blind, carnally minded and unconverted. Because their house remains empty of the truth of Christ, Satan will come to them and deceive them via the spirit of anti-Christ. Since the death of Paul, no "babe" has avoided becoming apostate. It is a step along the pathway that Christ causes His Elect to follow.
Consider these scriptures:
Hos 6:3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his going forth is prepared as the morning; and he (Christ) shall come unto us as the Rain, as the Latter and Early Rain unto the earth.
After a person is called to be a saint, Satan will cause them to fall away because his deceptions which will cause the person to mix their own works with faith. This is the sin that leads to death. All babes since the end of the 1st century have or will commit this sin. Because the Elect babes are no exception, they will also become apostate.
Here are a few supporting verses:
Psa 72:6 He shall come down like RAIN (Latter Rain) upon the mown grass (represents a fallen away believer): as showers (Latter Rain) that water the earth.
Jer 3:3 Therefore the showers have been withheld, and there hath been no Latter Rain; and thou hadst a whore's forehead, thou refusedst to be ashamed.
1Sam 12:17 Is it not wheat harvest to day? (day of salvation/conversion) I will call unto the LORD, and he shall send thunder and RAIN (Latter Rain); that ye may perceive and see (spiritual blindness healed) that your wickedness is great (have become apostate/man of sin), which ye have done in the sight of the LORD, in asking you a king.
Psa 68:9 Thou, O God, didst send a plentiful RAIN (Latter Rain), whereby thou didst confirm thine inheritance, when it was weary. (in an apostate condition)

The moment a person trusts in Christ is the result of Christ preparing their heart with the Early Rain.
Prov 16:1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.
Without the small measure of the Spirit, no person can have any faith in Christ or call Him "Lord". When Christ gives a person the small measure of the Spirit, they will be "called to be a saint" and will be justified
as long as they remain faithful. But due to Satan's deceptions via the spirit of anti-Christ, no babe will remain faithful while they wait on the Lord to return.
For believers who have been called but
not chosen to become a saint (they are "many"), they will die in their sins because Christ did not return to them with the Latter Rain. Only the "few" who are chosen from the foundation of the world does Christ return to before they die. When He comes, He will pour out the Latter Rain and restore them (make them faithful). Since their spiritual blindness is healed at that time, they will then "see" the Abomination of Desolation that previously occurred within themselves (God's temple).
Mat 24:15 When (not if) ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
There is much more that I could present but that enough for one post.
