Pam Bondi's First Day Is Finally Over: Liberals Are in for a Total Nightmare

Bondi said a wholesale overhaul of the DOJ was necessary after the Biden administration weaponized the agency to target political opponents.

Just hours after being sworn in, U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi issued a barrage of directives aimed at restoring the “integrity and credibility” of the Department of Justice by eradicating the weaponization of the agency to target political opponents and push left-wing agendas.

The list of mandates Bondi ordered should send chills down the spines of the Democrats who engaged in the shameless political persecution of President Donald Trump and other conservatives during the past four years, including:

• Special Counsel Jack Smith
• Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg
• Prosecutors of the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Hill protesters
• FBI personnel who targeted Catholics as “potential terrorists”
• Pro-life protesters
• New York Attorney General Letitia James.

In a memo Wednesday, Bondi said draining the DOJ swamp was necessary because “as President Trump pointed out following his second inauguration, ‘[t]he prior administration and allies throughout the country engaged in an unprecedented, third-world weaponization of prosecutorial power to upend the democratic process.'”

She continued: “[T]he American people have witnessed the previous administration engage in a systematic campaign against its perceived political opponents, weaponizing the legal force of numerous Federal law enforcement agencies and the Intelligence Community against those perceived political opponents in the form of investigations, prosecutions, civil enforcement actions, and other related actions.”

Many of the laid off workers were not doing anything. Some were maybe (at a stretch) working 10 hours a week. Or they were distributing/reading DEI literature. Some were busy doing nonsense tasks that nobody needed done. Like inspecting shoelace ends.

I worked for a government, and yes dead weight was there. Politics put them there. Hiring the unhireables, gov't programs to put minorities to work, etc.. The worst was the out of College with degree in art. Minority hired to supervise a department with no experience. One lady was hired as an assistant director, all she knew was how to plan a party for her sorority.

Rigid rules make for lousy hiring practices. And that's what it really was about.
The previous Administration tried to cover up the tanking economy through massive hiring people and paying for it through debt. It didn't matter what these people did....just that they were hired and given a paycheck. "Nevermind congress and budgets....just hire them anyway."

Which the firing of now is causing massive shifts in the economy. The Government spending had become 25% of the GDP. Completely unsustainable.
Now we also got tarrifs. Which was the straw breaking the camel's back. (Market fall)
Truly things ARE going to be difficult for a while. Job crunch, (bankruptsies) then grumpy people working, then raises with job changes...then great wages offered for jobs people won't take. (Over employment)

But it's going to take time for the dust to settle. However, if we survive....we will be in great shape on the other side of things.
