Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath. He gives rest to those who come to him. Like the temple sacrifices pointed to Jesus crucifixion. Sabbath keeping points to eternal life in his presence.

Why does it even make sense for you to think that God's word made flesh was sent to deconstruct God's word?
Jesus represents the New Testament, not the Old Testament.

John 1:17 NIV
For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.

Again, Jesus said that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God, so he affirmed Deuteronomy and every word that comes from the mouth of God, which includes everything that God spoke to Moses in Deuteronomy 5:31-33.

In Psalms 119:29, he wanted God to be gracious to him by teaching him to obey His law, and in Psalms 119:142, God's law is truth, so grace and truth came through Jesus because he spent his ministry teaching us to obey God's law by word and by example.

You disagree?

Luke 22:20 NIV
In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying,
“This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.

[
Representations are a shadow of things to come. Jesus is the ultimate revelation of God to man. He was there in the old testament as well, just hidden.

No.
I believe that Jesus came to deconstruct the law.
What He did was not a sin.

That's certainly a lie from the devil.

Brethren in Christ, be careful about listening to this foolish person above. He ain't even close to what is taught in God's Word about that subject of the law.

Lord Jesus Christ said...

Matt 5:17-18
17
Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
KJV

It should be obvious that Lord Jesus did NOT fulfill everything in the law and the prophets, because "heaven and earth" has NOT passed yet. So anyone claiming He did goes opposite of what He said, and serve the devil's thoughts.

Apostle Paul taught from God's laws in 1 Timothy 1, 1 Corinthians 6, and Galatians 5, showing that Lord Jesus did NOT nail all of God's laws to His cross. And what Paul taught there is NEW COVENANT DOCTRINE per The New Testament!

And it should be very obvious with how the majority of citizens in the United States of America with the latest election for U.S. President put Donald Trump back in office because of all the lawlessness being cast at the American people by Leftist-Communists and their allies in the Democratic Party. I love it, Trump is bringing back the exercise of God's laws that STILL STAND as protection upon God's people! That is what the U.S. Founders based the U.S. Constitution on, The Bible, and God's laws.

How do you destroy a prophet?

Jesus explained what He meant in the time here after His resurrection from the Dead.
It was NOT the law itself, but the BOOKS of "the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms”
that He came to fulfill prophetically.

Luke 24:44 NIV
He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you:
Everything must be fulfilled that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.”

It wasn't the legal content (the law) that Jesus came to preserve, but the prophetic content.

John 1:17 NIV

Galatians 2:21 NIV
I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness could be gained through the law, Christ died for nothing!”

Romans 3:21 NIV
But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify.

Topics on the subject.

Did Jesus say that he did not come to "abolish the law"? - Nope.

Interesting how a difference of opinion suddenly makes the other in league with the devil.
What's up with that?

Say what?
How can I say, "Nope."?

Because it is a COMMON misquote. What did Jesus actually say?
The misquote above stops short of the full statement, which completely changes the meaning.
It wasn't "the law" that Jesus did not come to abolish. It was "the Law or the Prophets".

So, the books of the Law or the Prophets, not the law itself.
The fulfilling therefore was not of the law itself, but of the prophecies about Jesus
in the books of the Law and the books of the Prophets. (and the Psalms)

Matthew 5:17 NIV
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets;
I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them.

--- COMPARE ---

Luke 24:44 NIV
He said to them, “This is what I told you while I was still with you: Everything must be fulfilled
that is written about me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets and the Psalms.”

There is only one way to the Son, through the Father..imo.

We are under the New Covenant......I like reading about how God made the earth, Adam and Eve...I find that all pretty amazing...

The NT confirms how we are Born Of The Spirit....by supernatural, divine ,heart revelation......mind Blowing.

Also Gods will, will be fulfilled on earth as it is in heaven....the Spirit Of Jesus is who we receive into our hearts/ spirit..once it’s been “ permanently “ birthed by the Spirit...

1 Corinthians 2:14
Audio Cross Study Comm Greek
Verse (Click for Chapter)
New International Version
The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

New Living Translation
But people who aren’t spiritual can’t receive these truths from God’s Spirit. It all sounds foolish to them and they can’t understand it, for only those who are spiritual can understand what the Spirit means.

English Standard Version
The natural person does not accept the things of the Spirit of God, for they are folly to him, and he is not able to understand them because they are spiritually discerned.

Berean Standard Bible
The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Berean Literal Bible
But the natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God; for they are foolishness to him, and he is not able to understand them, because spiritually they are discerned

That's true.
Did you view the videos in post #11?

[
I will view it now.

That was his testimony @St. SteVen wasn’t it?

God is the creator......look at his magnificent “ creation “ including us.....that’s how powerful his Living Spirit is......when he speaks something into being........like being Born Of The Spirit, it can NEVER be denied....I would die giving Glory to God...imo.....no one can take away from us...what the Spirit spoke into our hearts/ spirit.

There is my testimony...everyone’s is different.....no 2 testimonies are the same...just my thoughts.

All Glory goes to the “ LIVING “ Spirit Of God....who reveals more and more of his heart to our heart, when we seek his heart out....all I pray for ,is to know more and more of the heart of God......which he will reveal to us...if we come before him with sincerity.

You do start some controversial topics don’t you......gets us all thinking though....it’s a good thing imo....open up the mind......instead of being stuck in tunnel vision or entrenched in one way mind set...which I have been in...hopefully not now.

My Lord Jesus Christ DID NOT come to DESTROY THE LAW.

He came to FULFILL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS, like He said!

Matt 5:17-18
17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy,
but to fulfil.
18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.
KJV

You obviously... have a HUGE READING PROBLEM.

FULFILL does NOT mean a doing away with all of God's law. That idea is from the devil himself and his followers.

What my Lord Jesus did away with on His cross were the ORDINANCES in the law, mainly BLOOD ORDINANCES, animal sacrifices, various ritual ceremony, offerings, no longer judged by many things in the old law, not even by what food we eat, etc. (Col.2:14).

But the things in God's law which Apostle Paul taught of in 1 Timothy 1, 1 Corinthians 6, and Galatians 5 STILL STANDS TODAY FOR THOSE IN CHRIST. That is why one who does murder can still get the death penalty, and stealing can put one in jail, and even perjury on the witness stand can put one in jail. Those and many other laws in today's society come straight from The Bible, and anyone with just a little common sense ought to easily recognize that Truth.

What Paul taught in Galatians 5 that applies to those Christ is that we are NOT to be doing any of those things that are against God's law. And by only following what is righteous, walking by The Spirit, then we won't be doing anything that is against God's law, and thus we will not be subject to the law in that condition. But mess up and break one of God's law that are still in place today, and it means instead walking by our flesh, and not by The Spirit. In that condition, we place ourselves back under God's law, for Paul said the law was not made for the righteous, but for the ungodly and the sinner.
