Democrats are trying to destroy everything. The party of destruction.

ALBANY, New York — New York’s top court has struck down a law that would have let noncitizens vote in New York City elections, with the court’s progressive majority overwhelmingly siding with Republicans who challenged the idea.

The law would have made more than 800,000 people eligible to vote in municipal contests such as mayoral races.

“We file some lawsuits that are stretches,” said Joe Borelli, the former Republican minority leader of the New York City Council and one of the plaintiffs who challenged the law. “This one was, from the beginning, an open-shut case.”

The law was approved in the waning days of Mayor Bill de Blasio’s administration. When neither he nor successor Eric Adams issued a veto, it automatically became law in early 2022.

The legal battles since then have centered on language in the state constitution that says “every citizen shall be entitled to vote at every election for all officers elected by the people.”

Republicans argued that this prohibits all noncitizens from casting ballots. Democrats on the City Council who defended the law said this language should be viewed as a floor rather than a ceiling, and that local governments have the power to expand the franchise further if they wish.

In a decision handed down by the Court of Appeals on Thursday, the judges brushed off the Democratic argument by a 6-1 margin.

“Under that interpretation, municipalities are free to enact legislation that would enable anyone to vote – including … thirteen-year-old children,” Chief Judge Rowan Wilson wrote for the majority.

“It is plain from the language and restrictions contained in [the state constitution] that ‘citizen’ is not meant as a floor, but as a condition of voter eligibility: the franchise extends only to citizens whose right to vote is established by proper proofs,” Wilson wrote.

The Republican victory in this case was similar to ones they’ve won in two lower courts in recent years.

“As the court had held from the very beginning, the law is clear that voting is a sacred right that is for United States citizens,” said Assemblymember Michael Tannousis, a Staten Island Republican and another plaintiff in the case. “As the son of immigrants that came to New York for the American dream and worked hard to become naturalized citizens, I am content with today’s ruling.”

It is incredible that should have ever been a law. We have lost all sovereignty as a nation if anyone from any country and come and vote in our elections? And the mere fact that this came up in any city, even New York, is incredible. Should even any city try to pass such a thing? Perhaps, and I don't believe this either, but perhaps a state might be able to propose a law like this, because we are the United States, meaning that each state has some 'sovereignty'. Yet cities are not states, and even the states in the United States give up some sovereignty by having agreed to become one nation.

Is it not for this reason that we have given authority to the President to control the boards, as the laws of the USA permit. Even the older laws, who the founders of our nation passed shortly after writing the Constitution, like the one the President referenced in sending out the recent planes of illegal immigrants. You know, the law which forbid the district federal courts to get involves in - and the law in which the district federal judges violated!!!

Judges are also not above the law, are they? And cities are not above the law are they? It is at least nice to read about one example where some judges (as opposed to a single activist's judge) could apply the law of this land (the Constitution) correctly.

We do seem to have a judicial problem in this country, and it should be taken care of by the judicial system, but only if they apply the law correctly. If not they have put themselves above the law and not under the law, so as to be the law breakers themselves - and unrighteous judges as seen in the Bible!! But we also see the solution in the Bible!!!!!

Luke 18: 6-8 And the Lord said, “Listen to what the unrighteous judge *said;
now, will God not bring about justice for His elect who cry out to Him day and night, and will He delay long for them?
“I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?”

To solve the problem of unrighteous judges, we need to cry out to God who can command even those who have demonic spirits getting them to be rebellious. But do we seek the Lord and reason with Him? Do we even have faith in God on the earth?? If so we reason with the Lord (pray and commune with Him), but if not we deserve that comes on us.

And so why did the liberal judges in New York finally realize that what was going on was wrong????

Did not some of us Christian pray? Will not more of us Christian pray for righteousness, even in our judicial system, and our leaders in general?

Democrats do not like the restraints put on them by God or the US constitution. They are rebels seeking to change times and laws.

For the unsaved generally this truth from God

Psalm 2

Why do the [a]nations [b]rage,
And the people plot a [c]vain thing?

2 The kings of the earth set themselves,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against the Lord and against His Anointed,[d] saying,

3 “Let us break Their bonds in pieces
And cast away Their cords from us.”

4 He who sits in the heavens shall laugh;
The Lord shall hold them in derision.

5 Then He shall speak to them in His wrath,
And distress them in His deep displeasure:

6 “Yet I have [e]set My King
[f]On My holy hill of Zion.”

Maniac Federal Court Judges in the USA are the enemy of the America People, and of America Itself.
THESE Judges, block what Trump is trying to do..
I was watching Chuck Schumer , today... talk about....>>>"we have progressive Judges in place who are going to block Trump's orders//policy".
He's bragging about it., having a good laugh.

This is very sad for the USA, as these Christ hating Marxist people, have nearly destroyed the country, and Trump is trying to bring it back from completely turning into the land of no return, while they are trying to push it over the edge, forever.

So right!!! Very nice post!!!

And let me expand on the above explanation as it applies today!

It is not just judges, but we people in general who have that issue. We are rebellious by nature!!!

So the problem is that judges are people!!!! This is why the Constitution was written like it was. It was not written to have a single judge make a decision for the entire nation!!!!!

That is why the Constitution has it written the there is One Supreme Court!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now because we have issued that do not require the ONE Supreme Court, we have what are referred to as "INFERIOR" courts under the One Supreme Court to handle the minor cases. We have no problem with a District federal judge making a decision on the more minor issued in that "district", but they are not the ONE Supreme Court. Are they not allowed to refer cases that are beyond their scope "District" to higher courts and even to get the One Supreme Court, for issued of the entire nation??

So to not realize they have no control over the issues the entire nation, is to exceed their authority!!

Indeed, cannot the One Supreme Court, when becoming aware of these issues, bring the case under their legal rule?

So what becomes aware to anyone looking logically at these issues (and the type of person who actually listen to the Lord or Lords) then realize that the One Supreme Court is failing to do their job as per the Lord, and they themselves are not seeking the Lord our God themselves!! We need to pray for them, either that God would change them or get them to listen to Him!!

Yet if we don't actually listen to the Lord ourselves, can we expect them to do so. If we don't reason with the Lord for understanding and ask Him to help our leaders, even to include both our President and justices of the Supreme Court justices. Then what should we expect to get???

Now even in today's America on Trial with Josh Hammer, we find comments on how John Roberts is delegitimizing the Supreme Court himself. And indeed, if our Supreme Court, and itself does not take the cases nor reproof the lower courts, then we have a crisis. It needs to be solved by us seeking the Lord our God, Jesus Christ, who is above John Roberts. They might think they are the actually Supreme Court, but not over all - as mentioned in the prior post! The Lord our God, Jesus Christ has been put in charge of all things as the LORD OR LORDS AND KING OF KINGS. So we His people, and Christians are grafted into the Jewish root, have the ability to talk to the KING HIMSELF, but who will actually do that?

Pray - and listen to the Lord because prayer is communication back and forth with God.

We as believers really do have an enemy, the devil. And the devil has children, and those children follow the devil and desire to do the devil's will. So it is no doubt his people rebel against what is good and right, as they are by nature children of wrath.

God's people actually do have a shepherd who leads them.

YES - so right!

Yet we all have our battles, as all us Christians should know:

Eph 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Of course that above was written to the early Christian church at Ephesus - so while we should understand that non-believers don't even understand what happens in them, but we as Christians who follow Jesus Christ because, we do hear His voice, should understand that the battle we have is not even with the person and persons who lead us, but often with the spirits behind them. Which brings us back to the importance of prayer and the need to talk (commune) with God on the issue we find in this world.

Is this not why Samuel wrote:

1 Sam 12:14 “If you will fear the LORD and serve Him, and listen to His voice and not rebel against the command of the LORD, then both you and also the king who reigns over you will follow the LORD your God.

So do we actually listen to the Lord, keep the commands that come from the law of His mouth? If so we would not have the type of issues, we are seeing today!

So we can say "those children follow the devil", but we are the ones who have the promise that if we "listen to His voice and not rebel against the command of the LORD, then both you and also the king who reigns over you will follow the LORD your God."!!!

I suggest that if we Christian were to indeed seek the voice of the Lord so that we keep the command to "Hear, O Israel", then we would not have the issues we see today. Maybe we have to some extent, because things have gotten a bit better in our society - in that there is now prayer made in the White House, and we find podcasts 'regular ones' who no longer seem to be afraid of saying "God", like it seemed to be just a year ago.

Let's keep it up, because if Jesus came to save the World why are we in this world but not of it. And Jesus said He did and said what His Father told Him and He prayed. That is the way to change the world for better, is it not?
