No matter what side of the political spectrum you are on, we all want good governance. What does that look like? First, let's start with what is NOT good governance. 1500 pages CR bill submitted by Speaker Johnson on Tuesday expecting Congress to vote for it by Friday. So disappointed by the Republican Speaker! It is not reasonable for any human being to 1). read 1500 pages in 2 days; 2) understand; 3). form questions, 4) get opinions from constituents; 5) meaningfully debate the pros and cons with Congressional members.

The very least we should expect from our elected representatives is that they read the bills they vote on! It's total corruption and undermining of democracy that NOT doing this is the expectation from the political elite. This explains why Musk and President pushed for a 175 page CR bill that was eventually passed.

Of course spending and debt is out of control with a system that is out of control. This out of control system extends to undermining our republic, which means a form of government where there is rule by law, not chaos. And that takes us to the invasion at the Southern border. Our own government is not following its own laws! We should all be outraged by this, the very definition of tyranny. The lies and corruption are all around. Biden vows to ‘shut down the border’ if Senate immigration bill is passed. Why didn't he shut it down by enforcing the laws already on the books? Trump did. The answer is corruption, bad governance.

Your article is incorrect on the timing of Trump saying that as if he reportedly said that in 2019 after Jeffrey Epstein was arrested (as if to distant himself from him at that point) but that quote was said before an investigation even began, as noted in a New York Magazine dated October 28, 2002

The timing of the investigation has absolutely nothing to do with my post, it had to do with the timing of when Trump said what he said (if you were paying attention) which was long before it. The article he posted had Trump saying these things after he was convicted, when the other article dated 2002 tells us almost 20 years earlier Trump said that BEFORE there the guy was actually under investigation for anything.

It depends on how you see it. If you recall, Trump originally backed Hydroxycroquine and Ivermectin, which would have saved thousands of lives if treated early. He listened to doctors who demonstrated the efficacy of early treatment, and he even took Ivermectin himself to prove it was safe.

In the past, Trump has also been treated for COVID-19 at Walter Reed Medical Center, where he received an experimental antibody treatment. After a few days, he was discharged and continued his recovery at the White House.

So you see, President Trump was leading by example. However, due to the captured News outlets, he was forced to initiate Operation Warp Speed.

When a world leader is given a choice between 200,000 deaths and 2 million deaths, he would be expected to choose the smaller amount.
