Family is using false doctrine and witchcraft

I need prayer for my family, please. I have a close family member relying on false signs and false doctrine.

They shut me down when I explained it was numerology and said "let's stop now and not go there."

They won't listen to me, but they may listen to God. They are believers just misinformed.

Please ask that the Holy Spirit will open their eyes to what it is.

Dear Lord, I pray that you will show DuckieLady's family that they are being deceived by false doctrine and witchcraft in their life and that you will let them realize and be moved to remove any false doctrine other than Yours that they have adopted into their lives and witchcraft they have accepted into their lives and put a stop to it and protect them from this, thank you Lord Jesus! I will give a simple reminder as well dear sister .
Many be believers , the problem is WHO and what are they BELEIVING .
Anyone can claim to be a beleiver
but WHO we BELEIVE and WHAT we beleive is gonna prove whether one is a believer or a BELEIVER .

Thus we should correct , as you did . When one is corrected
and hears not and heeds not the correction and days turn into weeks and weeks into months

Cause sheep who might err , WOULD BE CONVICTED and would hear the correction and repent .

She was avoiding telling me things because I "just can't handle it" but that's not it at all. I'm not weak. I'm logical- and also being obedient, because God led me away from these things.

I'm also frustrated that she asked Mr. Duck to "pray for me" about irrelevant things in order to deflect from reality, so that my heart would be to blame.

I'm sorry for venting but I feel like I've been taught to be quiet too long and now it's all coming out.

After I had written all of this I had a flash vision of a clay pot breaking.

Now I'm trying to understand Revelation 2:27, and also the whole chapter.

Don't try to control other people.

Don't let other people control you.

I recently had to have that conversation with my granddaughter. It was something she didn't want to hear, and I left her in tears (which made me feel $#*!ty), but it was something I think she needed to hear. Both her parents were control freaks (and her mother was better at it than her father), and she learned controlling behavior right at their knees. Anyways, if your mom wants to get into numerology, that's her problem, and she will have to accept the consequences. You've warned her. That's all you can do.

Oh Duckie,

Is it possible that God is deliberately trying to separate you from the rest of your family to give you rest?

Is it possible that you are trying to fix a God problem and not leave it up to God?

Is trying to fix the issues in your own strength acting God like and means that you are turning away from God?

If you have handed this problem over to God, then simply continue praising God and giving thanks that He has heard you hearts cries and is already working to resolve all of the issues surrounding your heart's desires.

My prayer for you has not changed, that God is including you and your significant other among those whom He is gathering to Himself. I give thanks that He has heard my prayer whenever I think of you and am trusting Him to bring about the best solution for you both.

Parents also have to release their children into God's care when they are old enough to go flying, sometimes with God, sometimes with the wrong friends, and it is their responsibility to make all of the right decisions.

When Children leave their parents, they still have a requirement to "honour their parents" and they need to take God's journey just for them without interference from their parents.

Ezekiel 18 gives good instructions around the topic of whose sins we are responsible for, and it is God responsibility to provide the means for them to respond to His love for them.

Even God will separate Himself from those who will not listen to His counsel and respect their decisions, even if the outcome is not what His heart desires. We too have to follow God's lead and also separate from those who would lead us down the wrong pathway in our opinion. It is our responsibility to separate from them even though we are required by Jesus to forgive them 490 times, but that does not mean that we have to let them trample us and our relationship with God.

It is wise to set boundaries in every relationship and for both sides of that relationship to respect each other's boundary conditions so that you can co-exist living peacefully near each other.

Hand the problem over to God and let Him direct your steps through this set of circumstances, as I am not as able to give you the right directions that He already has for you except to press further into His loving embrace trusting Him in all things and rest in the peace that He brings into all of our lives.

Yes, I haven't seen the rest of my family in about ten years but most of that had to do with their history of drug abuse and I didn't want my kids to grow up seeing it.

My parents I didn't expect but I'm starting to wonder now.

Oh sister... I feel so bad for you...

It's not some great mystery that many in the corporate world belong to the enemy, so for the balanced it shouldn't be some earth-shattering "revelation" that throws us out spiritual equilibrium... Christ is still on the throne, no matter what's on the can of society's new favorite beverage.

And yes, I've been saying this for years. You make too many false claims about the end is here and after awhile people will tune you out, including your own kids, which is very sad.

I haven't watched the second one yet, so I will try to get to it later. Just kinda sad you have had to go through all of that. Praise God that He saw to take care of you, and you at least have seen fit to stay close to the Most High God.

Yes we are to speak the Truth, but forcing it down people's throats during fact to face interactions is not of the Lord as He never taught anybody to force the Truth on people

Well, welcome to planet earth.

The devil is always trying to shut down anyone speaking Truth so Christians need thicker skin than this.

Mumbling and complaining just makes Christians look weak!

I hear you also. But sometimes you can't worry about how you might appear to others. Who is weak and I am not weak? (2 Corinthians 11:9) The Prayer Forum ought to be a safe space where you can be vulnerable.

Jesus used the picture of a widow who persists in coming to the Judge asking for justice against her adversary as a model for faithfulness (Luke 18:1-8). Is it wrong for her to ask for Justice? And so, I heard the voice of one whose voice has long been suppressed (Proverbs 31:8-9 allusion) praying FOR her on-again, off-again "adversary" (see Matthew 5:44), and I added my prayers to hers. A prayer not just that someone would be delivered from a pursuit that is at best damnfoolishness and at worst, demonic, but that a daughter might be heard by her own mother. Can you add your prayers also?

Did you tell your family that obey the word of God bring out blessing?
Not obey the numerology that bring out blessing.
No one can escape destiny from God, Not even numerology.

Find a good way to tell them, by the story of The Old Testament. Israel's obedience to God's word brought blessing, and disobedience brought disaster.

Not just telling "No,stop it."
