The form of repentance that God requires is repentance TOWARDS God Himself. It is the Greek word: "metanoeo"- to have  ANOTHER mind). It is the only form of repentance by which one shall receive God's Grace through faith in Jesus, for the forgiveness and REMOVAL of all sin.
John 14
[16] And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

The other form of repentance is when one repents FROM sin. The Greek word for that form of repentance is: "metanoia"- to have a CHANGE of mind.

By that form of repentance, it is only within one's own human mind to choose not to commit a sin.

So in my situation, if I repented, I still 'might' pay a price if I am not safe (which is unlikely but it's possible) but that I will be safe. Or are you saying that I might suffer from someone doing something bad to me but in the end I will be safe again and not that my life will be over? Is that how God's character is like? Those are all running in my thoughts. Thank you so much everyone for your help in discussing this with me!
Hi, sorry I revised my question.

sister what do you mean by IF i am not safe .
Sorry for the delay! I am just saying that generally it's unlikely that I'm not safe but it's still possible but there's nothing specific. Hope I made that clear.

Okay so I see that no one was more spiritual than me to able to help me here with my worry by answering my question but I have one less worry now anyway due to this scripture:

"Say to them, As I live, declares the Lord God, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but that the wicked turn from his way and live; turn back, turn back from your evil ways, for why will you die, O house of Israel" Ezekiel 33:11

As I spoke with another Christian, the word 'live' in the scripture became loud and clear. I now do not have to worry that now that I've repented of my sin that I might still be in danger to the point that I will die from the sins I've commited because God says in His Word that He doesn't desire for the death of the wicked (the sinner or one who sin) but that the wicked ''turn from their way'' AND ''LIVE''!!!

Now the only thing I'm worried about is that now I repented, I still might suffer from someone wanting to do something bad to me and they will get to do it but that God might protect after that, if I am not safe... so can anyone help me with God's Word in regards to this one so that I don't have to worry about that?

I was speaking to a Christian today and she made the point that in the OT, God punished those people because he kept warning them to repent over and over again and because they didn't repent in the end that that's when they paid the price but that I don't have to worry anymore because I have repented in the end. I was, however, still worried that there might still be really bad consequences from the the sin I've commited before I repented. I know the scripture of 'whoever confesses their sin and forsakes them will obtain mercy', but exactly how much mercy? And I know that scripture that says if we turn from our way, he will have compassion and freely or abundantly pardon (one version says freely and one says abundantly so I got insecure that it was inaccurate and kind of like 2 different meanings) so anyway, that scripture sounds like he will abundantly pardon so abundant mercy so it can cancel out the remaining worry but I'm not sure about it.

Silence.

How about the parable of the unmerciful servant? That just came to my mind, that maybe if God sees how merciful I am to others which I have been then He will want to extend the same amount of mercy to me? So that if I am not safe, He will extent a lot of mercy onto me and now say ''I'm sorry but you're just going to have to get out of the way because I am protecting her safety because she is so merciful to others.'' ??? this seems to be the answer?

We are broken people, some more than others, either physically or mentally or spiritually, yet we are loved with an everlasting love. In other words, God's tenderness towards us does not run out.

Repentance is about realising the futility of disfunction and choosing to want it better than it is.

The first thing Jesus said to the paralytic who was let down through the roof was, 'your sins are forgiven'. He didn't ask but he needed to know this fact first because the Jews claimed if you were disabled it was because you or your parents had committed some terrible sin. It was said to him to nullify this idea.

We today need the same reassurance and the scripture (Paul) gives us ample. 'While we were yet sinners, Christ died for the ungodly' Romans 5:8

'All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation; that is, in Christ God was reconciling the world to himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and entrusting to us the message of reconciliation'
2 Corinthians 5:18-19

.'..and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross'
Colossians 1:20
