I think Trump is the only one who has said he is the only who can keep Israel safe.

The Pope has not promised Israel peace and safety that I know of.

Everyone here is wrong about Peace and Safety.

Jesus Christ "IS" the peace and safety. That is where we found our salvation in. However...the salvation will only possible BEFORE Satan is loosened after the testimony of Salvaiton by Two Witnesses is finished:

Rev 7:1-4
(1) And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
(2) And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
(3) Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
(4) And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.

After all Elect (spiritually 144,000) are secured with Salvation. The days of salvation have ended. Despite that, some people in the church who are still seeking salvation or have desired to be saved by dying in Christ, can't find it.

Rev 9:6
(6) And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.

They will cry "peace and safety" as they seek salvation in Christ, but will not find it because its too late. This is why Christ warned that we need to pray that we won't be too late when no man can work (in the kingdom) or when the harvest has passed in winter:

Mat 24:20-21
(20) But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
(21) For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

It is a time for Great Tribulation "FOR" the Elect, the merchants of Gospel, who shall weep and mourn for the church, especially for those who are too late for salvation because they will no longer be able to buy our merchandise of salvation anymore.

Rev 18:10-11
(10) Standing afar off for the fear of her torment, saying, Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! for in one hour is thy judgment come.
(11) And the merchants of the earth shall weep and mourn over her; for no man buyeth their merchandise any more:

Why? Becasue after the white horse (christ/salvation) the red horse come:

Rev 6:4
(4) And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

1Th 5:3-4
(3) For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.
(4) But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief.

After the ministry of a white horse (Christ) who brought salvation (peace) to those who are Elect through the Church is finished. Then the Red Horse comes that shall remove peace from Earth. This is the sudden destruction that no one will be able to find peace with God AFTER all Elect (144,000) has been secured. This has NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING to do with the "world peace" you are looking around you on world news for proof. You guys totally missed the point the Lord is talking about here.
