That’s ludicrous.

You're the one claiming there is just God only.

Do you think Moses was a trinitarian?

Moses lived during a time where God had only given limited revelation concerning Himself and what's going on

You should not we are living under the New Covenant now as the old covenant has been done away with by Jesus which was foretold in the old covenant!

Hebrews 10:9
Then said he, Lo, I come to do thy will, O God. He taketh away the first, that he may establish the second.
(God said He would make a New Covenant - see Jeremiah 31:31-34)

It's no wonder the hebrew roots movement people don't know whassup... they be livin in the past! clueless-doh.gif

So you acknowledge that Moses wasn’t a trinitarian. That’s historically sound and something we can agree on.

OK then, so you do acknowledge that you reject Jesus and the Holy Ghost?

He couldn't have been because God had not revealed things during the old covenant that he has revealed during the New Covenant.

There's a whole lot more revelation knowledge from the Lord in the New Covenant since we have the Holy Ghost inside and they didn't. We can understand things they had no clue about which really irks the hebrew roots movement peoples and makes them quite upset.

So, I guess you acknowledge don't have the Spirit of God since you reject Jesus and the Holy Spirit then, right?

No. I’m a primitive Christian.

He couldn't have been because God had not revealed things during the old covenant that he has revealed during the New Covenant.

He is a Jewish monotheist. Jewish monotheists are unitarians, not trinitarians.

There's a whole lot more revelation knowledge from the Lord in the New Covenant since we have the Holy Ghost inside and they didn't.

So, I guess you acknowledge don't have the Spirit of God since you reject Jesus and the Holy Spirit then, right?

No. See above.

You can't have it both ways... the Father acknowledges Jesus and the Holy Ghost...

So do all Jewish monotheists who believe that Jesus of Nazareth - himself a Jewish monotheist - is the Messiah, the Son of God.

Those that reject Jesus as their Lord and Savior... are on the highway to hell.

So you are asking the wrong question and listening to the wrong people instead of listening to Jesus Who acknowledges the Father and the Holy Spirit.

God is One God... Who is a 3 part being, Father, Son, Holy Ghost.

This is what God's Word teaches... the Jews have it wrong which is obvious since they refuse to accept Jesus and their Lord and Savior after they were told of His coming in the OT... they missed it!

Yes.

Jesus is a Jewish monotheist. Until a person understands and insists on that, they won’t understand him.

God is One God... Who is a 3 part being, Father, Son, Holy Ghost.

This is what God's Word teaches...

God is one God … who is the Messiah’s God and Father.

This is what the scriptures teach.

… the Jews have it wrong which is obvious since they refuse to accept Jesus and their Lord and Savior after they were told of His coming in the OT... they missed it!

Only those among the Jews who rejected Jesus, himself a Jew, got it wrong.

The question in the New Testament isn’t, Who is God? The Jews knew perfectly well who God is. Jesus himself acknowledges this on several occasions.

The question in the New Testament is, Who is Jesus? The answer in the New Testament is that he is the Son of God, the Messiah promised by his God and their God.

P.S.

Gregory of Nyssa. Remember that name.

God is one God … who is the Messiah’s God and Father.

You're slippin... you just acknowledged God and Jesus...

All you gotta do now is acknowledge the Holy Ghost and you'll be scriptural at last!

Who is Jesus?.... He is the Son of God

You're slippin... you just acknowledged God and Jesus...

All you gotta do now is acknowledge the Holy Ghost and you'll be scriptural at last!

Gregory of Nyssa. Remember that name.

He is "venerated" as a "saint" in Eastern orthodoxy, the catholic cult, oriental orthodoxy, anglicanism, and lutheranism.

In other words he's a false teacher that teaches things Jesus and His Apostles did not teach

I'll pass... I follow what the Lord says in His Word, not what false teachers claim

God and Jesus. Yahweh and the Messiah.

I do.

He’s a key figure in trinitarian history; one of the Cappadocian Fathers.

A champion of trinitarianism and a vanquisher of Jewish monotheism.

I'll pass... I follow what the Lord says in His Word, not what false teachers claim

You would love what he says about the Trinity and you would agree with what he says about Jewish monotheism.

Every trinitarian and non-trinitarian should hear him. I quote him frequently.

P.S.

God and Jesus. Yahweh and the Messiah.

So you acknowledge that you reject the Holy Ghost then?

Romans 8:9
Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His

The Jews you are listening to don't have the Holy Ghost which is why they reject Jesus

You should get some better friends... some that accept the whole counsel of God agree.gif

You keep saying God only as though Jesus and the Holy Ghost do not exist

I quote him frequently.

Why would anyone quote a person that is in agreement with the false doctrines of the catholic cult, oriental orthodoxy, anglicanism, and lutheranism???

You would love what he says about the Trinity

I'm going by what the Lord says in His Word... that there are 3 that bear
witness in Heaven and these three are one while being 3 at the same time.

Ever see all the scriptures about the Father?
Ever see all the scriptures about the Jesus?
Ever see all the scriptures about the Holy Spirit?

Pretty hard to explain away something scripture clearly tells us which is... One is Three, and the Three are One.

1 John 5:7
For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

Unless of course they have an agenda that is not not from the Lord... which is the result of not accepting the whole counsel of God which is a common ploy of the cherry pickers! laughing.gif

Yes.

The Jews you are listening to don't have the Holy Ghost which is why they reject Jesus

The Jews I’m listening to and believing are the prophets, the Messiah and the apostles.

You should get some better friends... some that accept the whole counsel of God View attachment 56620

* Reminds me of a song “What a friend we have in Jesus” *

You keep saying God only as though Jesus and the Holy Ghost do not exist

No. That’s what you’re hearing but that’s not what I’m saying.

Why would anyone quote a person that is in agreement with the false doctrines of the catholic cult, oriental orthodoxy, anglicanism, and lutheranism???

Gregory of Nyssa lived in the 4th century - 600 years before Eastern Orthodoxy came into existence, and over a thousand years before Luther / Lutheranism and Anglicanism came into existence.

Why would a trinitarian ever say that Gregory of Nyssa is a false teacher?

I'm going by what the Lord says in His Word... that there are 3 that bear

I read the same scripture that you do. I read it through the prism of Jewish monotheism, which Gregory of Nyssa assures us is heresy, and a destroyed dogma.

OK, then this would be applicable to you:

Romans 8:9
Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His

The Jews I’m listening to and believing are the prophets, the Messiah and the apostles.

They acknowledge the Holy Ghost and you say you do not.... so you are obviously not listing to the Lord and His Apostles who acknowledge the Holy Ghost
Hope you see the light someday bud! amen-prayer.gif

* Reminds me of a song “What a friend we have in Jesus” *

The Lord said to sing a new song (Psalm 96)... here's a good one... "Those that don't have the Holy Spirit don't know God's Word as they can't hear it"

Pretty catchy tune actually guitar-jammin.gif

No. That’s what you’re hearing but that’s not what I’m saying.

Yeah, some folks are confused due to not accepting the whole counsel of God.

Lots of that going around in the haze of these last days coffee_cup_guy2.gif

Gregory of Nyssa lived in the 4th century - 600 years before Eastern Orthodoxy came into existence, and over a thousand years before Luther / Lutheranism and Anglicanism came into existence.

Uh huh and later on he was honored and respected by the false teachers... cause he was a false teacher.

I read the same scripture that you do. I read it through the prism of Jewish monotheism

Well, there's where some folks go wrong bud right there

They are seeing things from the viewpoint of those that reject Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Nuff said.

Romans 8:9

No.

You misunderstood what I wrote. When asked several times if I acknowledged the Holy Ghost I told you that I didn’t. When told by you that I all I need to do to be scriptural is acknowledge the Holy Ghost, I told you that I do. You ignored that.

What I said yes to was your posting of Romans 8:9. It is applicable to those who don’t acknowledge the Holy Ghost. All believing Jewish monotheists, of which I’m one, acknowledge the Holy Ghost.

They acknowledge the Holy Ghost and you say you do not....

I’ve said repeatedly that I do.

…. so you are obviously not listing to the Lord and His Apostles who acknowledge the Holy Ghost
Hope you see the light someday bud! View attachment 56622

I have.

Yes, but that’s not the tune he was speaking about.

Yeah, some folks are confused due to not accepting the whole counsel of God.

Lots of that going around in the haze of these last days View attachment 56624

Yes.

Uh huh and later on he was honored and respected by the false teachers... cause he was a false teacher.

That’s an ignorant and bigoted position to take.

Well, there's where some folks go wrong bud right there

That’s a fair position for a trinitarian to take.

They are seeing things from the viewpoint of those that reject Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Nuff said.

The Messiah and the apostles are Jewish monotheists, as are the primitive Christian's. The monotheism that Gregory of Nyssa assures us is heresy and destroyed dogma is theirs / mine.

Why would I quote someone who calls Jewish monotheism heresy and a destroyed dogma? It’s a rejection of the monotheism / dogma of the Bible.
