Easter as described by the king James translators was a first century Christian feast found in 1 Corinthians 11

That's when "christians" had allowed pagan practices into the church... which are doctrines of demons.

Real Christians celebrate Passover which is honoring Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection.

You can’t Open your mind even a little bit.

I don't open my mind to doctrines of demons.

When "christians" today use the term "easter" they are giving heed to doctrines which is an open door to demons which is one of many errors that has brought forth so much false doctrine... enjoy!

The only people that will be lost And will need extreme grace are those that disobey baptism in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of their sins.

So you adhere to the baptismal regeneration heresy... I see
Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Reckon Jesus made a mistake and told the Apostles wrong instructions? clueless-scratching.gif

We don’t have any kind of a covenant with God.

Speaking only for yourself... and not for Real Christians!

Galatians 3:29
And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

You are quite confused if you think the first century church allowed pagan practices into their pasha feast. They were celebrating their version of the fulfilled Pascha feast at the same exact time that the Jews were celebrating their Pascha feast. There were just different words the KJV translators used to differentiate each Groups’ feast. Really hard for you to see that. You think the Christians should have a nameless feast or they should identify themselves under the Jewish feast. The King James translators wanted there to be a clear distinction between the two groups. That’s why they named the Christian group the Easter group. This had nothing to do with Harrod’s pagan beliefs.

We don’t have any kind of a covenant with God. We have been adopted partially, and with a dark glass experience into God‘s future covenant with national Israel via Abraham, when he returns.
Jesus is coming to save them specifically. We are only included partially in a pre-millennial experience right now that will be fully implemented at the 2nd coming.
I like to see some scripture and verses on exactly what you saying.

What about the other scriptures where the Bible instructs water baptism "in Jesus Name"?

Hebrews 8 quotes Jeremiah 31 regarding Israel and Judah obtaining a future promise of 100% salvation at Christs return. Hebrews chapter 10: 15- 17 includes us in a very small portion of that major promise to them. Check them out.

Matthew 28:19 covers it, except for the United Pentecostals who claim those that follow Matthew 28:19 are going to hell laughing.gif

I actually went to a UPC for about a month shortly after I got saved back in the day and they actually said those that do not agree with them burn in hell.

That's funny... God's Word says something totally different... false doctrine was creeping in even before the Apostles died... and after they left false doctrine has greatly increased and those not heeding God's warnings... are ripe for deception!

Matthew 24:4,5
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
For many shall come in My Name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

*Many includes those claiming "I am anointed" that are deceiving many (false teachers)

1 Timothy 4:1,2

Now the Spirit speaks expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron

("depart from the faith" is not referring to sinners in the world who never came to faith in the first place)

1 Timothy 6:3-5 (see Luke 11:23 and 2 Peter 3:2)
If any man teach otherwise, and consent not to wholesome words, even the words of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to the doctrine which is according to godliness (holiness); (Doctrine of Christ, aka Doctrine of the Apostles)
He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof comes envy, strife, railings, evil thoughts… Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

2 Timothy 4:3,4
For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine (teaching); but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.

2 Peter 2:1-3
But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying (contradicting, Not agreeing with) the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.
And many shall follow their pernicious ways; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of.
And through covetousness (idolatry) shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingers not, and their damnation slumbers not.

Jude 1:4
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness (no self control, living after the flesh), and denying (contradicting, opposing Jesus’ teachings) the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ. (referring to false teachers and false brethren - see Matthew 13:24-30)
(Deny = Strong's G0720… to contradict, disavow, reject, deny, refuse - and Strong's G4483… the idea of pouring forth, to utter, speak of or say, command)

Jude 1:17-21
Remember the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ;
How that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts.
These are those who
separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit.
But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost,
Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life.
("those who separate themselves" is not referring to sinners in the world who were never joined unto the Lord in the first place)

Acts 20:27-30
For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God.
Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.
For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.
Also of your own selves shall men arise, speaking perverse things, to draw away disciples after them.

A month, so you attended 4 sundays and maybe a few bible studies, lol.

In the past I attended a UPC for about 10 years and never heard about that.

Anyhow, continue with your chip on your shoulder....

That prophecy that Paul made was after his departing. That is not when the early church was under Peter.

No Jesus was never born again. Being born again is only for sinful man. One that is by nature alientated from God due to a sin nature (the flesh) Jesus did not need saving and thus did not need to be born again.
Yep . it is man who must be born again . Born of GOD , born of the Spirit
Now tis true a man might say HEY amigo JESUS was but a man .
To which i say HE WAS before all that was created ever was and BY HIM was all created that even is .
May that sink in my friend .
I will let an unknown christain who was beleived to have wrote it over a thousand years ago say it best .
HE came to die on cross made of wood
and yet HAD created the very hill upon which it stood . THAT THERE feller was RIGHT .

Yes, foretelling what was going to happen.... that Jesus would be separated from God on the Cross as an offering for our sin.

Hebrews 1 reveals that it was Jesus' flesh body that suffered, not Immanuel God with us. Jesus is GOD The Savior; He never stopped being GOD The Savior, even when His flesh was being crucified. This apparently you do not understand, and it shows you haven't studied God's Word about the two different dimensions of existence, this earthly one and the heavenly one.

The REAL Jesus existed as GOD The Son, with The Father, everlasting. That's one of the main subjects of the Book of Hebrews, even revealed that Jesus is the "express image" of The Father. Now that ain't about the 'flesh'; it is about Jesus' Spirit, as His real Person, like The Father, is Spirit.

But what have men's fleshy doctrines done with Jesus' quoting from Psalms 22:1? They've turned it into a feel sorry passion play to try and make the congregation think Jesus was weak, totally forgetting the prophesies in God's Word of why Jesus was born in the flesh to die on the cross, and be raised by The Father and continue His Office as our High Priest forever after the order of Melchizedek! What I see is POWER with Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection, NOT weakness like Satan's host likes for us to think.

The only exercise some people get is jumping to conclusions and running down their neighbor!

They were teaching false doctrine and on top of that they had women in positions of authority teaching men in their so called "church" so thankfully the Lord led me out of there so I would not get caught up in their darkness.

Hebrews 1 reveals that it was Jesus' flesh body that suffered, not Immanuel God with us.

Yeah, and some folks either don't know the whole counsel of God... or they refuse to believe all of what God says in His Word. clueless-doh.gif

Isaiah 53:10-12
Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin [spirit is inside the soul], he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

Isaiah 53:8
By oppression and judgment He was taken away; and as for His generation, who considered
that He was cut off out of the land of the living, stricken for the transgression of My people

But what have men's fleshy doctrines done with Jesus' quoting from Psalms 22:1? They've turned it into a feel sorry passion play to try and make the congregation think Jesus was weak

Some folk need to pay better attention to what's going on! agree.gif

Hebrews 2:9
But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honor; that He by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Isaiah 53:4, 5
Jesus has carried our grief (pain, anxiety, calamity, disease, sickness), and carried our sorrows (anguish, affliction, feelings of pain, sadness and sorrow): yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted....but He was wounded (to wound, to break, be slain or killed) for our transgressions, He was bruised (crush, destroy, oppress, to collapse) for our iniquities: the punishment (violence, rebuke) of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed. (He took our wounds, so we could take his wholeness & health in every area of life)

To national Israel at the 2nd coming of Christ...

Hebrews 8:8 For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.

10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Our teency inclusion into a portion of their future promise...
  1. Hebrews 10:15 Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

That's it. That's all the church is included into per the future promise of Jer 31/Heb 8.

And it is a partial, dark glass experience on top of that.

We now see through a dark, obscure lens and the gifts are only partial per 1 cor 13.

The best is yet to come when Jesus returns.

yeah that new covenant promise to them , has long been at work . yet many still reject .
THE NEW COVENANT promise , ITS BEEN getting preached for years
and the sheep do hear and come . Paul got busy trying to save those of his flesh , as well as the gentiles too .
IF every jew was automatically going to be saved , there was no need to even have preached JESUS to them
and rather just to focus on the gentiles . Dispensationism has indeed taught error .
SO i suggest rather than waiting , WE PREACH JESUS TO THEM
and to all , CAUSE WHEN JESUS DO RETURN , every jew and gentile who rejected HIM , TIS TOO late
they will WAIL on that day .

All you're doing is pushing men's theory Humanism about Lord Jesus Christ. That false philosophy especially uses Bible Scripture that declares the suffering of Jesus' FLESH BODY, which of course is a separate ENTITY than His actual Person as GOD The Son, Immanuel God with us. Lot of preachers have succumbed to that little Humanism Theory pushing it at the pulpit, when they don't have a clue as to who planted that false Humanist theory about Lord Jesus.

Did Jesus suffer in His flesh? Yes, of course He did! But He CHOSE and was CHOSEN to go through that, for the remission of the sins of those who believe. That means of course, (for you folks who listen to those country preachers who love traditions of men instead of God's Word), Christ had The POWER to NOT suffer, but CHOSE to lay down His Life for us. Who all has that kind of POWER of IMMORTALITY to be able to CHOOSE to live or die? Not any of us, Only GOD born in the flesh has that kind of POWER.

Heb 2:9-11
9 But we see Jesus, Who was made a little lower than the angels
for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that He by the grace of God should taste death for every man.
10 For it became Him, for Whom are all things, and by Whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.
11 For both He That sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause He is not ashamed to call them brethren,
KJV

That above of course is about Jesus' flesh body born through woman, NOT His Spirit as Immanuel GOD with us.

Heb 2:14-18
14
Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, He also Himself likewise took part of the same; that through death He might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
16 For verily He took not on Him the nature of angels; but He took on Him the seed of Abraham.
17 Wherefore in all things it behoved Him to be made like unto His brethren, that He might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
18 For in that He Himself hath suffered being tempted, He is able to succour them that are tempted.
KJV
