Do you believe God infringes upon our free-will to choose between good and evil?So God created beings with full knowledge that they would be deceived and, consequently, would then punish them FOREVER?
Have you ever wondered why you need to make so many words in an attempt to get a point across AJ?God created sentient beings with free will.....he educated them and told them how to gain everlasting life in paradise on earth, but when Adam’s sin took it away from them, he implemented a plan to save them. He sent his son to die in our place....the price of redemption was a sinless life offered for a sinless life.
It is the exercise of our free will that means the difference between life and death....we choose to do as we are told by the one who gave us life.....or we can choose to ignore and disobey him.....by our choice we choose life or death. How is that not fair?
Life was conditional from the outset......obey and live...disobey and die. Who has more right to lay down the rules that the one who made us?
When we buy as new appliance it usually has a guarantee from the manufacturer that is conditional....who says that is not fair?
The same fate as anyone who worships a false god and practices what God condemns.
Who said he punishes his creation forever? He gave humankind the opportunity to live forever in paradise on earth....they disobeyed the only command that they knew carried the death penalty, and basically threw us all under the bus.....satan lied to the woman to entice her to eat the fruit.....when she did that, she condemned herself to death, but Adam was the one who put all the nails in our coffin. It was through the man, not the woman, that sin entered into the world. (Romans 5:12)
If Adam had rejected his wife’s encouragement to eat of the one tree that God had claimed as his own property, (a symbol of his Universal Sovereignty) we would not be having this conversation. That one restriction created no hardship whatsoever for the pair as they had many varieties of fruit to choose from. The tree itself did not produce poisonous fruit but to partake of it would cause their death......taking the fruit of that tree, forced God to restrict access to the other tree in the garden....”the tree of life”. (Gen 3:22-24) It was this tree that would give them everlasting life. But sin now dominated their thinking because they chose to know it....one of those things that ‘once the genie was out of the bottle’ so to speak...their was no putting it back. They could not undo what they had just unleashed.
John 17:16....”They are no part of the world, just as I am no part of the world.”
John 18:36....”Jesus answered: “My Kingdom is no part of this world. If my Kingdom were part of this world, my attendants would have fought that I should not be handed over to the Jews. But as it is, my Kingdom is not from this source.”
Luke 4:5-7 “All the kingdoms of the world” are under the control of Satan, because God gave them to him so that he could prove his claim to be the better god and ruler of mankind....Jesus did not dispute that statement.....so how is he doing?
Being “part of the world” is a trait of those in “Babylon the great”.....”Friendship with the world” makes one “an enemy of God” (James 4:4) Those in “Babylon the great” justify participation in wars because their love of their nation is their first concern.....a Christian has their citizenship in God’s Kingdom, not man’s. (Acts 10:24-25)
What happens when those on opposing sides of a war identify as Christians? Whose side does God take?
If he has told us to be no part of the world, then he doesn’t need to take sides...a genuine Christian would not participate in bloodshed.
According to the apostle Paul....we are to....”Return evil for evil to no one. Take into consideration what is fine from the viewpoint of all men. 18 If possible, as far as it depends on you, be peaceable with all men. 19 Do not avenge yourselves, beloved, but yield place to the wrath; for it is written: “‘Vengeance is mine; I will repay,’ says Jehovah.” 20 But “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by doing this you will heap fiery coals on his head.” 21 Do not let yourself be conquered by the evil, but keep conquering the evil with the good.”
Also John says....” If anyone says, “I love God,” and yet is hating his brother, he is a liar. For the one who does not love his brother, whom he has seen, cannot love God, whom he has not seen. 21 And we have this commandment from him, that whoever loves God must also love his brother.” (1 John 4:20-21)
That rules out taking up weapons against a fellow brother in Christ....and Paul says vengeance belongs to God, not us.
They, like the rest of us, will be sent back here (to Earth/hell) until they get it right or until they run out of time and find themselves in The Fire. What is the fate of Catholics that die as Catholics?
It’s not a matter of whom we are opposed to or not....it’s about who God is opposed to.Babylon the Great does not necessarily consist of nameable denominations (particularly those whom one is opposed to)
Babylon the great is sometimes called “the greater Babylon”, which connects it to original Babylon...the seat and springboard of all false religion. It all started after the flood with Noah’s great grandson Nimrod, who figures strongly in many mythological religions.Babylon the Great is far broader than that. It embraces all who operate by the principle of selfishness regardless whether their doctrines are right or wrong......and because of this, many of God's people are in this system.
The Kingdom is about sacrifice....Christ’s sacrifice covers all our sinful mistakes, but it does not cover wilful unrepentant sin.....without repentance, there is no forgiveness. That is our sacrifice.....controlling our sinful selves so that we refrain from offending our God by being obedient to him in all things. They have not yet come to the realisation that the Kingdom of God is a Kingdom of Grace. It consists of giving not taking; its MO is humility rather than pride, it has the interest of the other over and above self interest.
It is what Jesus clarified to the rich young ruler who asked him about gaining eternal life. It appeared the price was too high for him. Mark 10:17-27
No one is standing there with a big stick forcing you to read a single syllable, QT.Have you ever wondered why you need to make so many words in an attempt to get a point across AJ?
....and do you get your point across is another question?
Could it be a possibility that the method you use is the same method used by most ....and from what I can see it is more chasing your own tail than progressive.
I have also noticed that when questions are inconvenient ie, they don't suit you, you just ignore them?
It will be our own words which judge us.It’s not a matter of whom we are opposed to or not....it’s about who God is opposed to.
He is the one who dictates the qualifications that a Christian needs to enter the Kingdom, or to be a subject thereof.

When the building of the Tower of Babel was underway, God thwarted their efforts by confusing the language of the tower builders, thereby forcing them to leave off the construction and to separate into language groups and to take their false religious ideas with them out into the world.
God is about truth, so false doctrines are not something he has ever accepted.

The rich young ruler did not want to part with his riches and because of that he had no “treasure in heaven”....earthly treasures are valueless to God. Christ taught us to share what we have with others.
Paul gives us the principle.....
“For if the readiness is there first, it is especially acceptable according to what a person has, not according to what a person does not have. 13 For I do not want to make it easy for others, but difficult for you; 14 but that by means of an equalizing, your surplus at the present time might offset their need, so that their surplus might also offset your deficiency, that there may be an equalizing. 15 Just as it is written: “The person with much did not have too much, and the person with little did not have too little.”
I guess the 'mindless ramble' expression is a great way to be non specific and justify one's own perceived insight/ wisdom. No one is standing there with a big stick forcing you to read a single syllable, QT.
I actually love questions, so I am at a loss as to when I have ignored any reasonable question.
Perhaps the questions were ridiculous? It could not be that you have asked ridiculous questions, could it?
Since your own posts IMO are often a mindless ramble, it amuses me that you have to make personal comments to detract from the fact that you seem to chase your own tail quite a lot. I don’t think making valid points is your own forte....
Something to consider is that ALL organized religions are false by their very nature, as they take the Word of God (Truth) and mix into it a bunch of lies (the traditions and doctrines of men), which make the Commandments of God of no effect. It’s not a matter of whom we are opposed to or not....it’s about who God is opposed to.

Bingo! All organized religions encompass the devil’s global empire of false religion. Great numbers are stuck in captivity to “Babylon the great” due to the nation in which they were born and raised, and the religious upbringing they had. But despite that, many have come out of her, but not a majority.Something to consider is that ALL organized religions are false by their very nature, as they take the Word of God (Truth) and mix into it a bunch of lies (the traditions and doctrines of men), which make the Commandments of God of no effect.
Indeed….divide and conquer is his most successful tactic.Divide and conquer is a very obvious and well-documented SATANIC strategy that has been repeatedly used on us, unfortunately with great success. We have been divided by political parties, divided by organized religions, divided by legal systems of injustice, and even by silly sports.
The uniting of God’s people takes place in spite of this divisive world situation….when God looks down upon this earth, all he sees among humanity are “wheat and weeds”…..people who are serving God in truth and those who are serving their own gods created in their own likeness. All of this division is what prevents us from UNITING in one, common-goal to learn to DO God's Will, which begins with keeping God's Perfect Law of Liberty, exactly as Christ teaches.
Yes it does….and Babylon the great is still a mess of confusion and conflicting doctrines."Babel" means CONFUSION. And Babel - on (Babylon) has plagued us with confusion for thousands of years.
The RCC is the most reprehensible part of Babylon the great because she alone claims to represent the true God, when all we see is her blatant disobedience and her elevation of those who are drunk with the power that the devil gives them over their brainwashed and hapless members, eagerly performing rituals that Christ never mentioned, practicing idolatry, but claiming it isn’t….worshipping Jesus’ mother but claiming it’s just due reverence. The departures from Christ’s teachings are so enormous, but no one raised in that church or any of its offshoots, can come out of her unless God opens their heart to the truth…..If one recognizes the fact that the "great whore" of Babylon is the Roman Catholic church, which is the largest business empire on planet Earth and whores the Word of God for filthy lucre, then the next logical question should be how did the Babylonians become the Romans (yes, the Romans are the direct descendants of the Babylonians, and the only race of people to destroy Solomon's Temple - first as the Babylonians c. 588 B.C. and then as the Romans in 70 A.D., exactly as Christ prophesied)?
I saw your writings, and I see much that is truth, but stained by some beliefs that have no basis in Scripture at all. Planet earth is not a prison….it is designed to be our permanent home…and will be again, once God has dealt with the rebellion is such a way that he preserves free will, cleanses the earth of all wickedness, and reinstates his first purpose for us humans that he created to share life with all his other creatures here.Revelation 17:4-5
17:4 And the woman was arrayed in PURPLE (bishops) and SCARLET (cardinals) colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:
17:5 And upon her forehead [was] a name written, MYSTERY (2 Thess. 2:7), BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS (her daughters) AND ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
17:6 And I saw the woman drunken with the blood of her saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus: and when I saw her, I wondered with great admiration.
A thoroughly detailed study of this has been made, in a three-part article series at the following hyperlink:
"Can you describe how the Hypostatic Union works, Jack? I know you like to quote Scripture, so in proving you are not part of this mysterious Babylonian body, maybe you can support your findings with some text.No doubt babylon will fully support Bible hating Kingdom Hall!
What kind of nonsense is this? They, like the rest of us, will be sent back here (to Earth/hell) until they get it right or until they run out of time and find themselves in The Fire.
Babylon the Great in my view is a religious/ political arrangement. It is the religious arm which leans on the political arm to achieve its ends. Babylon has 'the Great' tacked on because it is global in scope. Is Earth Babylon the Great?

Earth is the location of “Babylon the great”.....the world empire of false religion created by the devil to attract all manner of people in his global web of religious deceit. They are so busy arguing over who is right, and whose god is the true one, that they don’t realize that they are all worshipping the same false god disguised as the real one for all of them.......God tells us in his word what “Babylon the great” is.....Is Earth Babylon the Great?
We need to read the way scripture uses its terminology.I considered that too but in the Bible it seems to be discussing a physical location.
We need to read the way scripture uses its terminology.
Babylon literal was the great enemy of Israel. It burnt Solomons Temple, the wonder of the known World and enslaved the people. Scripture now uses it as a metaphor for those opposed to God's people today. It also uses the name 'Israel' as a metaphor for God's people today, globally
Fail to understand this and comes up with all manner of confused views.
It's definitely Satan's system exercised through religious and political power.I confess to not understanding Revelation. You got me there!
We know that the whole world is ruled by Satan and that he has his own system in place. Perhaps "Babylon the Great" is BOTH Earth and Satan's system?
