Hi there,
So Jesus talks about "men's hearts failing them, for fear of the things to come" (Gospels, from memory). I hazard that this can be interpreted a step further: at the end of time, men will have lots of problems. By problems I mean mental instability, ill health, doubts, uncharacteristic struggles. This is not the will of God, that men suffer these things, but by the same token, if they will not repent, there is nothing else God can do. What you have to remember is that "the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak" (Gospels, from memory), that is the flesh is weak "in the end". If the flesh is weak, on the way to the end, then the condition of man is going to grow problematic. There is power in turning to God in this, but remember also "many are called, but few chosen" (Gospels, from memory).
The crux of it is, that as the flesh gets weak, mental health will get worse. The believer will be blessed, but even then they will be tested. Realistically, our today will help in that future that men are headed to, but it is important to remember to live for today (Gospels, from memory). To get the full message here, what you really need to do, is visit people will mental problems and share their burden, to visit the sick and lift them up in spirit - if you can prepare in a meaningful way, then when the trial comes to you, you will know what to do (to some extent). God has angels that can deal with these things, to an extent, but it is up to Man to be responsive to the will of God.
If I have said anything, here, it is that we should repent, as much as we believe the struggle of the spirit will continue with us. Jesus is with us, but that does not mean our burdens are gone, it does not mean our prayers should come to an end. I hope this has been of some encouragement to you.
God bless.
