Titus 3

Maintain Good Works

1 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,

2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

3 For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.

4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared,

5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour;

7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

8 This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men.

9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain.

10 A man that is an heretick after the first and second admonition reject;

11 Knowing that he that is such is subverted, and sinneth, being condemned of himself.

Conclusion

12 When I shall send Artemas unto thee, or Tychicus, be diligent to come unto me to Nicopolis: for I have determined there to winter.

13 Bring Zenas the lawyer and Apollos on their journey diligently, that nothing be wanting unto them.

14 And let our's also learn to maintain good works for necessary uses, that they be not unfruitful.

15 All that are with me salute thee. Greet them that love us in the faith. Grace be with you all. Amen.

Love, Walter And Debbie

#1. Are you aware that principalities refers to not only angels but demonic prince's in charge of certain areas of the world, like China, Russia, India, Islamic countries, who keep people away from Christ and in stuck in false religions?
To be subject to demonic powers is detrimental.
I think even the USA has been run by these powers gradually corrupting our morals and transforming many and causing us to be callous, tolerant - but more than half of us said enough and thanks to the American spirit that formed this nation, it has been revived. It is not a time to be passive and meek. We needed to stand up and say enough and with the power of prayer and spiritual warfare, these unseen powers and their workers suffered a blow recently! We had been meek about this Left Wing movement and about had enough. Evil needs to be put down sometimes with a fight! We had a great country because men faught for our freedoms. Angels are constantly fighting against demonic powers for us. Faith is still strong in this country. So meekness has its place.

"a time to be born, and a time to die;
a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted;
a time to kill, and a time to heal;
a time to break down, and a time to build up;
a time to weep, and a time to laugh;
a time to mourn, and a time to dance;
a time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together;
a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;
a time to seek, and a time to lose;
a time to keep, and a time to cast away;
a time to tear, and a time to sew;
a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;
a time to love, and a time to hate;
a time for war, and a time for peace.
