I can't say you are absolutely wrong, I just don't have the guts to believe your interpretation as it feels wrong to believe I am without sin (I know it isn't true) and is quite prideful, actually it feels like a sin to start believing I am without sin.

God bless you.
as john says

Who who says he is without si (present tense) decieved himself (or herself) and there is no truth in them

Posting snippets of scripture is meaningless, if it’s not explained/ interpreted.

The Holy Spirit, cannot indwell the heart/ spirit of sin, that we were once in , when we lived in darkness and alienated from the Spirit,, we have been Born Again of imperishable seed, that seed that our spirit has been Born Again of, is the Living Holy Spirit, who has taken up permanent residence in our spirit..
The Spirit testifies with our spirit that we are Gods children, our sins must be forgiven by God, before His Living seed can indwell our heart/ spirit, as His seed is pure, Holy , without sin..I repeat again....therefore our sin must be forgiven by God which it is, when he brings us to repentance/ Godly sorrow...

Spirit gives birth to spirit...and the Spirit can’t give birth to a spirit that has not had their sin forgiven..we are clothed in the righteousness of Christ.forgiven of sin..no longer do I carry any burden of sin, Jesus has my sin, it’s all on him, In Jesus Name...Amen.

1 Peter 2:24In-Context 24 He took our sins on himself, giving his body to be nailed on the tree, so that we, being dead to sin, might have a new life in righteousness, and by his wounds we have been made well.
A Born Again does not sin, because we have been Born Of God, we cannot sin because his seed remains in us...

Romans 6
Berean Standard BiblePar ▾
Dead to Sin, Alive to God
(2 Corinthians 4:7–18)
1What then shall we say? Shall we continue in sin so that grace may increase?2Certainly not! How can we who died to sin live in it any longer? 3Or aren’t you aware that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into His death? 4We were therefore buried with Him through baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may walk in newness of life.
5For if we have been united with Him like this in His death, we will certainly also be united with Him in His resurrection. 6We know that our old self was crucified with Him so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless, that we should no longer be slaves to sin. 7For anyone who has died has been freed from sin.
8Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with Him. 9For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, He cannot die again; death no longer has dominion over Him. 10The death He died, He died to sin once for all; but the life He lives, He lives to God. 11So you too must count yourselves dead to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus.
12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its desires.13Do not present the parts of your body to sin as instruments of wickedness, but present yourselves to God as those who have been brought from death to life; and present the parts of your body to Him as instruments of righteousness. 14For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.

The Wages of Sin
15What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law, but under grace? Certainly not! 16Do you not know that when you offer yourselves as obedient slaves, you are slaves to the one you obey, whether you are slaves to sin leading to death, or to obedience leading to righteousness? 17But thanks be to God that, though you once were slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were committed. 18You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.
19I am speaking in human terms because of the weakness of your flesh. Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in slavery to impurity and to escalating wickedness, so now offer them in slavery to righteousness leading to holiness.
20For when you were slaves to sin, you were free of obligation to righteousness.21What fruit did you reap at that time from the things of which you are now ashamed? The outcome of those things is death. 22But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the fruit you reap leads to holiness, and the outcome is eternal life. 23For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

The problem most of the time is people don’t realize sin has been dealt with. What a person does from then on is on themselves and no one else. You can go on to sin all you want to, or you can choose to seek out in faith and reap to the spirit opposed to the flesh.

People are born again even without knowing Jesus. They are having a new experience and it’s only by and through seeking Yahavah, the Lord God. Many people worship the Bible, and not the true and living God.

That’s an issue, as the Bible itself can be misused and abused and manipulate people who don’t understand its context in its entirety.

Look at cults like heavens gate or that one guy who got a whole entire people’s to drink the koolaid and had them all massacred. No telling what they believed, did they worship the true and living God, did they worship the guy who ran the whole group of people?

Sin; it’s over with. You don’t have to confess you sins if you don’t want to; it’s between you and God. But if you say you don’t sin; I don’t believe you. I’ll tell you this much; posting on sites like this is not gonna mean much.

What will mean anything is where your heart is, and how truthful you are in faith to Yahavah, who sees all the good, the bad, and the secrets and we will reap what we sow. Be it in this life or for the next.

According to the Bible there will be a separation of peoples, faithful and nonfaithful.

There are many people who are mentally ill, some people who are autistic, and some people who are also intellectually disabled. None are bared from coming to God; and even the people in prison or who do wrong today have had their sins forgiven. Anyone can be born again, for Yahavah makes that happen for those who choose to seek him; and those who don’t they will be judged for their own self. Those who have issues I believe Yahavah will taken in those accounts, and he is rightful and just.

1 John 3:6 needs to be read with understanding. This verse is referring to a person who is a habitual sinner, one who has a disregard for God’s laws, love, and salvation.
You guys are missing it.

John tells us that the stated purpose of this letter is to exhort his "little children" to resist sin. "My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin." (1 John 2:1) I counted at least 23 separate time in the letter (up to the very last verse!) where John tells his audience to strive against sin. Chapter 3 verses 1-3 establishes our identity as God's children promises that we will one day be like Jesus, and again exhorts us to live into that identity: "See how great a love the Father has given us, that we would be called children of God; and in fact we are. Beloved, now we are children of God, and it has not appeared as yet what we will be. We know that when He appears, we will be like Him, because we will see Him just as He is. And everyone who has this hope set on Him purifies himself, just as He is pure." Verses 6-9 MUST be understood in the context of the overall purpose of the letter, and in the context of the immediately preceding verses 1-3: We are children of God, and children of God do not sin. Live into that identity "in the now".

Part of reading comprehension is to understand the type of speech being used and how it serves the author's overall theme. This type of speech is exhortation. To interpret verses 6-9 as a simple statement that Christians cannot sin not only blatantly contradicts what John says in chapter 1 verse 5 through chapter 2 verse 2, it also defeats the whole stated purpose of the letter.

I have to gently point out that you're still responsible for the actions of that body.

Now, is your body "you"?
Romans 8
King James BiblePar ▾
No Condemnation in Christ
1There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. 3For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: 4That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. 5For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. 6For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace. 7Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
Control by the Spirit
(Galatians 5:16-26)

9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. 10And if Christ be in you, the body is dead because of sin; but the Spirit is life because of righteousness. 11But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Heirs with Christ
(Genesis 21:1-8; Galatians 4:1-7)

12Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live after the flesh. 13For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live. 14For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. 15For ye have not received the spirit of bondage again to fear; but ye have received the Spirit of adoption, whereby we cry, Abba, Father. 16The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 17And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together

A Born Again as soon as their spirit has been birthed by the Living seed of God, who is the Living Active Holy Spirit, I am then clothed in the righteousness of Christ, I’m in Jesus and he is in me, God sees no sin in me.
A Born Again can and does not go on sinning because they are clothed in Christ’s righteousness , they cannot sin because God’s seed remains in them.

I heartily agree, brother. Christians should always strive as hard as we can to not ever sin.

In 1 John 1:8-10, the apostle John had just said that we all have sinned, and that if we deny it, we are a liar. Notice:
8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us [our] sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

Now John continues in 1 John 2:
1 John 2:1-5 1 My little children, these things I write to you, so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous. 2 And He Himself is the propitiation for our sins, and not for ours only but also for the whole world. 3 Now by this we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments. 4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. 5 But whoever keeps His word, truly the love of God is perfected in him. By this we know that we are in Him.

We have an Advocate, Jesus Christ, who sits on the right hand of the Father. He is our Defender and when we happen to fall short of the glory of God and we repent of our sins, we have Him as our Advocate to represent us right there in heaven before the throne of God. We all sin and fall short of God's standards sometimes. Confessing our sins when we realize our sin is crucial. God promises to forgive and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Thank You, Jesus.

The Holy Spirit indwells our spirit, our spirit has been birthed by the Living God His seed, I am in right standing with him, we know in our spirit that we are Born Again, not by reading and quoting scripture

Who leads you through scripture? Who brings it to our understanding? Is the Bible God?
You must be Born Again for God to acknowledge that you are his?

As his word also says without his Spirit you are none of his?

He doesn’t say you must be a Christian to see the Kingdom Of God ..His word says that you must be “BORN AGAIN” to see the Kingdom Of God.

I am the righteousness of God—I have right standing with Him—in Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21). My body is a temple of the Holy Spirit; I belong to Him (1 Corinthians 6:19). I am the head and not the tail, and I only go up and not down in life as I trust and obey God (Deuteronomy 28:13).

We the children of God are...” BORN AGAIN”?...Gods seed remains in us?

A Born Again has been Born Of God, they can’t go on sinning because.

God’s seed remains in-them ?

Yes, I’m a Christian. I know what it is to be born again from above.
Born from Above means the same as being Born Of The Spirit?
You didn’t answer my question.
I did answer your question , you asked if I’m a Christian..I answered i am Born Again.....Christian doesn’t resonate with my spirit..I only understand Born Again...........Christian I believe is a follower of Christ ,we must be Born Again to follow understand who Christ is?
That comes by divine heart revelation ?..which you have never explained?
Born Again in our spirit?

I was christened a Christian.....but, I was never Born Again, not until, my 30s, Born of the Spirit can only come by divine heart revelation...so you too could be a Christian yet not Born Again?

Maybe that is why you don’t understand that a Born Again does not sin because they have been Born Of God, they cannot go on sinning because his seed remains in them which means what?
Goodnight now.
Then why not explain what it means to be Born Of The Spirit..?

Born of the Spirit, divine heart revelation, if you quote my posts, please expect to be challenged

We must Born Again to see the Kingdom Of God?

Hence you believe you still sin, because reading your posts, you have never explained the Living spiritual rebirth?

Quoting scripture does not make one’s spirit “ Born Again”?

We can walk through scripture by ourselves.any one can do that.

To truly understand God’s word, which apparently was written under the influence of the Holy Spirit.

One must be Born Of The Spirit,Only then can our leader/ teacher / helper the Holy Spirit bring the word to our understanding..as once Born of the Spirit, we are indwelled in our spirit, by the Living Holy Spirit.....only he can witness the truth of Gods word to our heart/ spirit.....then whatever I hear him witnessing/ testifying to my spirit, I always check with the word, which confirms what was witnessed to my spirit, via Gods seed ,his Holy Spirit.

Also God is not confined to the Bible, His Living Spirit leads and guides us throughout our daily lives, we are in his will as a Born Again, just as Jesus was in Gods will as the Messiah.

A Born Again is brought to understand God’s will via His Holy Spirit, by growing and maturing in our spirit we know when we are in harmony with Gods will.
Then there is the renewing of our minds?

Jesus was in perfect harmony with Gods will, as God came down in the flesh...Jesus was the perfect Lamb who was predestined to be slain, before the foundation of the world.

Good night, hopefully to be continued.

That percentage sounds low to me. - LOL
Perhaps I should explain my position on this.

It is certainly not my aim to live a life of sin.
But I think even the well-meaning cannot realize the depth to which sin has an influence on us.
The two greatest commandments are a good measuring stick. Scripture below.

Do I REALLY love the Lord my God with all my heart and with all my soul and with all my mind?
On an emotional level, I WANT to. But if I am honest, could I have loved him more? Sure.
Did other stuff get in the way. Absolutely.

And what about loving my neighbor as myself? Again, on an emotional level, I WANT to.
But if I am honest, could I have loved my neighbor more? Sure. Did my own needs get in the way?
Absolutely. And the flip side of that is actually loving yourself. (the hidden command)

Matthew 22:37-39 NIV
Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’[a]
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’[b]

Brother,do you know how much God loves you in your heart/ spirit?

Has his love for you penetrated your spirit?

Our spirit is what loves and whose love in us helps us to open up our hearts to love in spirit and not by emotions @St. SteVen ..just my thoughts.

Short commentary.

You see, God's love (also called charity) is a pure gift from him to be received and shared. The spiritual gift of love is the only type of love that fulfills the deepest longings of our hearts. Like all gifts, it must first be received and cherished, and then it allows us to love ourselves and others as God does.

We can’t do any of this, unless we know the Love Of God in our hearts, after all he Loved us first did he not, when our spirit became Born Again of his seed?

One can’t love anyone from their / heart, spirit, unless we are Born Again.

I was quoting John 3:18; I assumed @St. SteVen was too. κρίνω ("krino") is the word used, not "bema"
Well it then proves my point

he who believes is not condemned or judged (krino) he who does not believe is condemned already (judged Krino)

and like I said. no believer will be at that judgment. we will be at the bema judgment where our works are tried. Which

and PS. @St. SteVen did not mention john 3, he was referencing the bema judgment of wood hay and straw wqhere ONLY believers will be..
Thanks.
It begs a lot of questions.
Will believers NOT be judged? (evaluated)
No rewards for wood, hay, and stubble.

Nice try
