This discussion has never been about politics, it is about blame.
Building detention camps, starting to round up the enemy, deport them, and then maybe hold trials,
put people in prison....
And the cost will be loss of food production, higher prices, the start of a recession.
And it will be blamed on the enemy, doubling down on punishment to be put against them.
The question is will there be a push back, or is the most powerful country in the world just going to implode?
There is literally no one else to stop this, as they hold the levers.
When this happened before those doing the hunting and punishing claimed to be clean germaphobes.
Empires end two ways, a failure from pressure from without or destruction from within.
And the destruction from within is driven from paranoia, so it cannot end, as they are out to get us.
Jesus's answer was simple,
21 To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps.
22 "He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth."
23 When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.
24 He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.

A country made up of immigrants leaving their homes to make a new life turns on new immigrants and blames them
for the failure, means its very foundation has changed and it has lost its way.
