You sound overconfident and puffed up which makes it less likely for me to seriously consider anything you have to say. Here is a more detailed explanation of the parable of the ten virgins.

That bible is puffed up?
I QUOTED what was there

Sorry you can not process the word of God.

The foolish had oil, light, vessels and were virgins, watching and waiting for Jesus.
They were /are separated, pure, and undefiled.
You need them to be something else

No matter to me.
I will keep presenting the word while you contest what is written.
That is my Job.

Lol
Did you read the article????
He erroneously converted the parable into saved vs unsaved by saying " the foolish never had oil".
How incredibly silly

Clown act that needs " virgins" with oil and light, watching and waiting for Jesus transposed into sinners.

Like you said, we can not take those bible tramplers seriously.

.. and so the Story begins in a small town in South Africa where two couples ,each in their own Jeeps, are going deep into the bush and then returning back with the two Jeeps.
One of the jeeps has an extra 5 gallon can on the back.

So one couple decided that they were just going to rely on whatever fuel was in their tank.
But on the way back the one that had no extra gasoline ran out of gas.
So they asked the wise couple for some of their gas.
And they said no because we have several hundred miles to go and all we got is the 5 gallons, we will both run out of gas.
And so we can all see from the story that the foolish couple never had any gas to begin with.?????
No it's pretty obvious that the five foolish virgins had oil at one time, since their lamps were burning and they no longer had any flame, because unfortunately, the oil had run out.
No brainer

So thank you Holy Spirit for your accurate word and you paint it up perfect picture that men can't deal with and try to change. But you put in there and impossibility for their faults Miss that they try to ruin the Bible with their phony interpretations

Love Ephesians 5:13-20 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever does make manifest is light. [14] Wherefore he saith, Awake you that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give you light. [15] See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, [16] Redeeming the time, because the days are evil. [17] Wherefore be you not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is. [18] And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit; [19] Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord; [20] Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;
(We have to remember prior to the crucifixion not one had done good, no not one. Jesus is giving them a parable. We contradict ourselves I think in when our lamps go out, it is Christ we ask for His Light to be given unto us for we are in great need of Him. And what does Christ do? Does He say nay, least there not be enough for you and Me?” Even Paul said what had been given unto Paul of the Lord “I gave unto you.”

Wherefore be you not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

‘But understanding what the will of the Lord is.’ What is the Will of the Lord? A few verses, there is a lot concerning the Will of God.

Mark 3:34-35 And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! [35] For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

1 Thessalonians 4:1-3 Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as you have received of us how you ought to walk and to please God, so you would abound more and more. [2] For you know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus. [3] For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that you should abstain from fornication:

1 Thessalonians 5:15-21 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. [16] Rejoice evermore. [17] Pray without ceasing. [18] In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. [19] Quench not the Spirit. [20] Despise not prophesyings. [21] Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

1 Peter 2:12-16 Having your conversation honest among the Gentiles: that, whereas they speak against you as evildoers, they may by your good works, which they shall behold, glorify God in the day of visitation. [13] Submit yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether it be to the king, as supreme; [14] Or unto governors, as unto them that are sent by him for the punishment of evildoers, and for the praise of them that do well. [15] For so is the will of God, that with well doing ye may put to silence the ignorance of foolish men: [16] As free, and not using your liberty for a cloke of maliciousness, but as the servants of God.

What is “but as the servants of God”? How does that apply to the ten virgins which all slept? What did they awaken to? If it the Voice of Christ then is it not “Awake you that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give you light.” Awake up to obedience unto righteousness! What is to awake to obedience unto righteousness? What is “arise from the dead!” What does this appear as?

1 Peter 5:2-5 shepherd the flock of God among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion but voluntarily, according to the will of God; and not with greed but with eagerness(what is but with eagerness?) ; [3] nor (not) yet as domineering over those assigned to your care, but by proving to be examples to the flock. [4] And when the Chief Shepherd appears(isn’t this who the Virgins wait for?), you will receive the unfading crown of glory. [5] You younger men, likewise, be subject to your elders; and all of you, clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because God is opposed to the proud, but He gives grace to the humble.
Great post!

Pigeon holing is simply sorting things out
Well it is not familiar to some of us from the equator side of the globe.

Merely sounded nasty and vile and insulting to us on the other hand.

So would suggest rather use simple understandable English words.

Sorry and thank you.

THEY ARE SCREWED UP ,
You too have to cruxify such language which is according to the pattern of this world. In the New Testament, Christ, the Apostles or the church, did not go around witnessing such nasty and vile language.

Now to me the church will undergo the Tribulation period, persecution by the hands of anti-Christ, the false prophet and the strongly deluded world. Where supposedly for 7 years, but according to the Lord, is shorten to 3 1/2 years because;

Matthew 24:
22. And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

Just after that the rapture will take place, where the Lord's return will be like a thief in the night.

Next, anti-Christ, the false prophet and the strongly deluded world, will undergo the Great Tribulation period. Where the 7 angels sent will pour out on the earth the seven bowls containing GOD's wrath.

The Tribulation will last 7 prophetic Hebrew years in all, but the Great Tribulation will be the second half of the Tribulation period

Shalom in the name of Jesus Christ.

What a nasty man.
Really nasty and vile.
Pigeon holing is simply sorting things out

The trib vs wrath position overstepps what the Bible indicates as a period of great tribulation of 7 years.
You know WHY they do that?????
DOCTRINAL ERROR

THEY ARE PIGEON HOLING TRIB VS GREAT TRIB VS WRATH.
ACTUALLY FORMING THEIR DOCTRINE FROM THAT STARTING POINT.

THEY ARE SCREWED UP , AND THAT MESS TAKES THEM FOR A MADE UP DOCTRINAL ADVENTURE OF INVENTION.
Rebuilder...pigeon holing does not mean TO SORT OUT.

This is for @Fred J who lives in a different country and does not understand American culture well and would require some help instead of being underrated.

Here's what PIGEON HOLING means in the manner in which you used it:

pigeon-hole
  1. 1.
assign to a particular category, typically an overly restrictive one.
"I was pigeonholed as a ‘youth writer’"

Otherwise I was not following your conversation along and this is really all I have to say....Just to help out Fred a little.

Please see my post no. 128

Pigeon holing is not nasty or vile.
It's used a lot in the US....
I gave the meaning in my post.

You cannot request that people living in the US do not use language that they are accustomed to.
It's YOUR responsibility to FIND OUT what a certain expression means....you could just ask.

Expressions are not understood by foreign speaking persons and I know that this could be a problem in translation.
Just my two cents.

Just my two cents means that I'm offering a thought of mine that is not very important in any big way....
you could take the offering or leave it.

Don't blame me.
The end game is you went against the bible as did your article.

Pssst...your mischarachterization of me sounded arrogant on your part.
See how easy that is?

The innumerable number before the throne happens early in the 7 yr great tribulation.

Jesus said, of that early time period, that they did in fact come out of the great tribulation.

I am calling it the great tribulation in echo of what Jesus called it.

I don't mean to split hairs...language is important to me.

This is not a hill I'm willing to die on...however, I don't see how it could mean SORTING OUT....

Yes, He did say that.

There's 2 Tribulation, one for the church saints and the other for the people of this world who loved and chose darkness, than the Light.

That why to differentiate, we call the first just, Tribulation, and the second, Great Tribulation.

Paul mentioned that, every foundation will be tested with fire, in order to test of which quality material it's made of.

We're taking about every denominations out there made by some one, to what material and quality product one have used.

As in the past the 'dark ages' the churches were tested for quality, the same will happen during the reign of anti-Christ and the false prophet.

GOD is not interested in 'quantity', but rather 'quality', to be with HIM in Heaven, and HIS will the anti-Christ setting.

Jesus prophesy, 'for many are called but only a few chosen', and elsewhere, ' for only a few will make it'

Next, the second Tribulation will be Great, for the very foundation of the earth shall be shaken.

" their lamps went out" ( the 5 foolish had oil, but it got depleated.)
( like those in the 7 letters to the seven churches)
Yep.
They had oil.

But believe whatever you will.
I am just reporting the facts.
The facts are the components of the parable.

If you change them, it is because you need then changed for whatever reason.
To me it’s our trying to make it about the future instead of what was happening at that time right before Jesus Christ went to the cross.

You said their Lamps went out. Something to consider is Luke 1:78-79 Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the dayspring from on high hath visited us, [79] To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.
Jesus Christ gives a parable prior to His death and resurrection. Even going as far as to say not only five failed but to shut the mouth of iniquity: all have failed. None has done good, no, not one.

More to consider about the parable. If there is any Wisdom of God in the five wise virgins …it’s not their boasting in themselves for keeping their lights shining, their lamps enlightened of the oil (joy) of God: Isaiah 61:1-4 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; [2] To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn; [3] To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified. [4] And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.

Hebrews 1:8-9 NASB
But regarding the Son He says, “Your throne, God, is forever and ever, And the scepter of righteousness is the scepter of His kingdom. [9] “You have loved righteousness and hated lawlessness; Therefore God, Your God, has anointed You With the oil of joy above Your companions.”

Paul spoke of the joy of rejoicing in Christ.
2 Corinthians 1:22-24 Who has also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts. [23] Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth. [24] Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your Faith for by faith you stand.

This one blows apart the current common interpretation of the parable of the ten Virgins which all slept.1 Thessalonians 2:19-20 ESV
For what is our hope or joy or crown of boasting before our Lord Jesus at his coming? (Our boasting is not the five which fail) Is it (our boasting before our Lord) is it not you(also in His presence)? [20] For you are our glory and joy.(oil for Light).
Hebrews 12:2 NASB looking only at Jesus, the originator and perfecter of the faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

If there is any Wisdom of God in the five wise virgins …it’s not their boasting in themselves for keeping their lights shining, their lamps enlightened of the oil (joy) of God:
If there is any Wisdom of God in the five wise virgins telling the five foolish to go buy from those who sell in the marketplace…it is this: Luke 16:9 And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness; that, when you fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.
People will tell you this is hell that receives “you” into everlasting habitations after friendship with the unrighteous mammon fails. Jesus Christ didn’t say it might fail, but when it fails. Jesus Christ who said “I come not to destroy but to save.” He is not destroying them by telling them to go make friends with the unrighteous mammon but, His Father also turns them over to a reprobate mind so that when it fails, as the son who wasted all his goods on riotous living, the Father receives him back when he returns to God. Paul said the same in handing the evil one over, putting it without for the destruction of the flesh that the spirit may be saved. God also hands those who blasphemes His name over to satan so they learn not to blaspheme His Name. It is not hell that receives them when friendship with unrighteous mammon fails, as men hope to shut the door on their brothers returning from when making friends with the unrighteous mammon fails, it’s men who boasting in themselves say “you fools” the door is shut on you for you are not like us who kept our lights burning, you are not our brothers —which is why Christ goes to the cross to set an open door before you: that no man can open or no man can shut.

Prior to the crucifixion Christ says “I never knew you” yet
Isaiah 53:2-7 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he has no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. [3] He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. [4] Surely he has borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. [5] But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. [6] All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all. [7] He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he openeth not his mouth.

“I never knew you” “so that, when it fails, they may receive you unto eternal habitations” “the door is shut” Hebrews 4:15-16 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. [16] Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
“help! We sit in darkness and have no light for our lamps!” Revelation 3:17-18 Because you say, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: [18] I counsel you to buy of me gold tried in the fire, (go make friends with the unrighteous mammon, so, that when it fails, they will receive you (obedience unto Christ) unto everlasting habitations) that you may be rich; and white raiment, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that you may see. (That which makes manifest is the Light).

Paul’s words in Christ
2 Corinthians 2:3-12 And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy (oil)is the joy (oil)of you all. [4] For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that you should be grieved, but that you might know the love which I have more abundantly unto you. [5] But if any have caused grief, he has not grieved me, but in part: that I may not overcharge you all. [6] Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many. [7] So that contrariwise you ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow. [8] Wherefore I beseech you that you would confirm your love toward him. [9] For to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether you be obedient in all things. [10] To whom you forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; [11] Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. [12] Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord,

[10] To whom you forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ; [11] Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.
