Well there you go…..that explains everything…..the indigenous people were nothing but savages who had to be slaughtered, and in their defeat, the superior white man could rest assured that their ‘Christianity’ would benefit the nation when populated with those (who were also savages in their own prideful arrogance) but who had better weapons and could read and write. If I was lost in the dessert and I had a choice between a white fella with superior weapons or a black fella with a spear and a boomerang, along with their knowledge of the land….I know who I would choose. The black fella would be able to provide all we needed to stay alive, and guide me to safety.

“Peace” begins with “the peacemakers” as Jesus said (Matt 5:9)……not the peace-breakers. Not even with the peacekeepers, because they carry weapons. The weapons of a Christian are not carnal. We have a defensive suit of spiritual armor, but the only weapon we are authorized to carry is “the sword of the spirit, God’s word”. (Eph 6:11-17)

And conquest from beginning to end and every step in between, including exile and return. Jesus did not defeat death peacefully but paid the price of his life for the victory. Humans have no excuse to behave like animals….”dog eat dog” was not a prerogative given to humans. Sin is what introduced that mentality. Made in God’s image, we were to rise above those base and immoral instincts and prove ourselves superior in that sense, not in the sense that you suggest.
When Israel went to war, it was to protect their “God-given” land…something God supported…..no land today is God-given…..it is stolen from others. Therefore the acquisition of land is not justified in taking the lives of rightful owners because this is not sanctioned by the Creator. Israel never took land off anyone for the sake of conquest and military superiority.
Christians were NOT to take up weapons and kill anyone….for any reason. (Rom 12:17-19) Vengeance belongs to God…not us.

And that is your excuse for the bloodshed? Where are Christians authorized to kill anyone, or even to retaliate when under persecution? (Rom 12:17-21)
“Soulful” is a word you use that has no connection whatsoever to participation in worldly politics….”the body we live in today” is finite and we will all die from something sooner or later, as long as this world under satan exists….it exists by God’s permission for a reason……and we are to be “NO PART“ of any of it, unless we want to find ourselves rejected by the one we are supposed to obey….he will then say to those disobedient ones “I NEVER KNEW YOU”.

Let me explain something to you…..the Promised Land was inhabited by a depraved people whom God had every right to evict in order to give that land that he promised to his own people. The conquest, unlike todays political takeovers, was sanctioned by God himself…..tell me where he sanctioned the British to invade someone else’s land and kill their inhabitants, steal their children and relegate them to reservations, killing their culture and robbing them of their own national pride. Is it a good thing that these people became second class citizens in their own homeland?
