Good Works follow Salvation

Eph 2:8-10

8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

Works are not Good Works before God until after one has been Created Workmanship in Christ Jesus, so frankly everything before this New Creation is evil works, dead works and unacceptable before God

The true believer’s obedience to God is not a legalistic one, but one borne out of love and gratitude. It is not motivated out of a hope for reward, but out of love and devotion towards the One Who has freely given him the gift of Eternal Life:

When Paul writes Titus 3:8

This is a faithful saying, and these things I will that thou affirm constantly, that they which have believed in God might be careful to maintain good works. These things are good and profitable unto men. He is writing to:

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

When James writes,

James 2:20-22

20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?

21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the altar?

22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?

James is speaking to those created in Christ Jesus unto good works.

Now false christianity tells us that one must do good works first in order to become a workmanship created in Christ Jesus, they have it backwards to say the least.

The good works began only AFTER being born again and certainly not before.

The works which God has ordained His people to walk in do not play any part in their being created in Christ Jesus, for the works come after salvation because of salvation. Just like believing/faith comes after a person is made alive, so also, the good works they do can only come after they are saved as the fruit of salvation, and, therefore, are in no way that which generates salvation or maintains it.

faith is Alive and Active in our spirit/ heart, God gifts us faith, by his mercy and grace,...he brings our spirit from death to life, when he makes himself known to our heart, when he births us in the Spirit.

Supernatural faith, because it was planted into our heart by Gods Witness His Holy Spirit, permanently indwells our spirit...there the Living seed, will just keep on growing.

We can’t have faith in God, without his gift of faith...we must know him in our heart, in other words , without his gift of faith, one will never be conformed into Jesus image,

The Deceived Calvinist is mind blinded so that they can't see the world "ALL".. or "WORLD">.... and can only see the word "elect' or "pre-destined" or "chosen"........as that is what Calvinism does to the mind of the disciple of Calvin.

Its because some place their faith in Buddha
Some place their faith in Scientology
Some place their God faith in the Quran and Muhammed

Faith is the Gift of God, its by the gift of Grace which brings Salvation. Plus this thread is about the nature of good works that follow Salvation, that follow after one is Newly created in Christ, Gods workmanship Eph 2:9-10

Once God gifted me the faith to believe in Jesus...to know him in my heart,....that’s when faith starts to grow.
God given faith is Alive and Active, the minute it is birthed , it will grow, Spirit gives birth to spirit.
Our faith, starts to grow, after we have received God given faith, God’s witness who witnesses Gods truth to our heart,...he brings about the rebirth, ..only then can our faith start to grow...as we know God in our spirit.

Supernatural faith, once properly understood is mind blowing.

No matter what situation you find yourself in,..you just know in your heart, that the Spirit is right there with you.

Our faith will grow in the knowledge of the Spirit..

What does Philippians chapter 1 verse 29 mean?
In this profound passage, the Apostle Paul emphasizes a remarkable truth: both faith and the privilege of suffering for Christ are gracious gifts from God.

The Christian is created, he is a new creature, he is born again, he is made alive by God in Christ so that he will walk in the works God has ordained for him to walk in, and not because of those works. A Christian is not saved by, or because of, those works, but performs them because he is saved.

Everything about Vs 8 is the result of Gods workmanship, a Creation, yes even the Faith,

The Christian Believer is of Gods sole Creation for His Glory Isa 43:7

Even every one that is called by my name[Christian]: for I have created him for my glory, I have formed him; yea, I have made him.

Now comes the good works God had already planned !

Anything about good works prior to this,is dead works, unprofitable in Salvific matters Rom 3:10-12

10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

11 There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God.

12 They are all gone out of the way, they are together become unprofitable[useless]; there is none that doeth good, no, not one.

Works only follow the act of salvation, they are never part of the cause of salvation. Salvation is a gift, it comes because of God not because of you! Grace is a gift, it comes because of God not because of you! Faith is a gift, it comes because of God not because of you! This whole package marked GRACE, comes because of God’s will, not because of your will, it comes because of what God has done not because of what you have done, for you are hopelessly, helplessly, contemptibly dead in your trespasses and sins, and worthy of nothing but eternal Wrath.
