I could explain the aorist tense to you with 10 words, maybe less.

This means that you have no free will.
This means that God chooses some persons to go to heaven and chooses some persons to go to hell.

What does the above mean?
Does it mean that a person could CHOOSE God or does it mean that a person CANNOT choose God?
Does it sound like man has free will or does NOT have free will?


What does this mean:
Deuteronomy 30:17-19
17“But if your heart turns away and you will not obey, but are drawn away and worship other gods and serve them,
18I declare to you today that you shall surely perish. You will not prolong your days in the land where you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess it.

God is giving the Israelites the choice between obeying Him and not obeying HIm.
The choice between life and death.
God is telling them TO CHOOSE.

Does choosing mean that you have free will
or does it mean that you do not have free will?

Actually SD, I don't read commentaries. As I've already said, what I posted is not a commentary but a scholarly presentation on Romans 9, and actually through to 11.

Well I went back to your post 388 and showed you that Paul in verses 22-24 is specifically speaking to all! Romans 9-11 is a commentary by Paul mostly on Israel and showing Gods OT promises to Israel will still be fulfilled.

So you consider yourself a biblical scholar?
