Sister, In many places in scripture God talks about mixture…..He hates it and calls it abomination. Why - because mixing the holy with the unclean makes the holy unclean. It doesn’t make what is unclean holy, but it makes what was holy an unclean thing. The Israelites weren’t permitted to mix two kinds of yarn together, couldn’t breed two different species of animals together, and they were not permitted to intermarry with (mix with) the heathen. Mixed wine is likewise spoken of in a derogatory way too, and we are told we must be vessels without mixture. And if someone who was ceremonially clean touched a dead body (unclean) it made the clean person unclean. This is why the Lord instructed the Israelites that they must discern and distinguish between the holy (clean) and the common (unclean) and keep the two separate from one another, so as to preserve what is holy and keep it clean/undefiled. This theme is all over the old testament and it is revealed in the new testament as spiritually being a picture of this scripture I mentioned in an earlier post:

2Co 6:14-18

Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

We need ears to hear what the Spirit is saying with that. It’s not to be understood in a carnal way as to suggest we are to be snooty or unfriendly or aloof and uncaring, of course not, but we are to maintain our spiritual separateness unto the Lord. That is what holy means…separated unto God. In the world but not of it.

If you have a glass of pure clean drinking water and MIX it with even a tiny amount of something unclean, like say bacteria or mud, it will render the whole glass of water unclean and not fit to drink. The clean drinking water will not render the bacteria and mud clean, but the opposite happens, the contamination makes the water unclean. The “unclean thing” we are not to touch is MIXTURE. Clean mixed with unclean = unclean. In other words mixture = unclean. So that is why we must discern and distinguish between what is clean (holy) and what is not (common) and not mix the two together. I hope that helps.
What conceit. Are you claiming to be holy? If so how much? Your extreme views will show you up. There is no love, mercy, righteousness or understanding in your religious assessments.

you are gonna have both hands full my dear sister .
this church age has long been taught that mormons , jws , etc
are all brethren and we must not judge them .
They have no idea that the very system these sit under are destroying these poor catholics and every other group too .
Remember the first part of the goal of interfaith inclusivity was to merge the denominations
as one with , with who . who and what name were the kenneth copelands , beth moores and scores of others
all saying . We are catholic . ITS WITH THAT CHURCH .
NOW that church has been well advanced in UNTING ALSO ALL THE RELIGOINS
and now we are witnessing part two . part two cometh with FINDING common ground with all .
Folks have no idea what is going on at all . AND as they unequally yoke up with these
they all will soon believe the lie of interfaith . THE very lie that this stuff was all meant to bring them too .
THE LIE that says christain truth is no better than the muslim or any other religoins .
AND THIS DOCTRINE DONT MATTER generation GONNA swallow it up . THEY have been preparing
christendom and the false religoins for a long time . NOW its coming to fullfillment and will get worse and fast .
Amen, so true brother.

And either Episkopos doesn't care, or hasn't noticed or perhaps it's because he is part of it. Makes one wonder why he never can agree or address this glaring problem and danger to the modern church.

Again with the synods. Accuse away and choose your own fears to cast on others. But you are standing in a worse place than those who you are railing against. Take the beam from your own eye.

What superficiality. Don't people realize that the creeds they recite mindlessly come from an ecumenical council...which I refute. Acceptance with God is NOT by correct dogmatic theories. There is no life to be found in those who can't understand what I am warning against.

Answer me this question. Who will reject you on judgment day? Answer?
You keep threatening us with judgment day........by that it's evident that you don't understand that judgment begins with God's house, that those who know the Lord receive judgment in this life so we will not be judged with the world. Who are loved as sons are chastised by the Lord in this life, and who are without chastisement are illegitimate children.

He is blind as a bat, if you want truthful assessment-but a favorite one.

Keep fishing for favouritism and human acceptance. Rather if you had any sense at all, you would be looking for acceptance with God and approval of the Lord. But seeing that takes faith...,much easier to jump on the carnally religious bandwagon and hope for some temporal support.

And the people loved to have it so. Truth is hated now as at any other time.

She is "in the Spirit" cannot make heads or tails what you are posting here @Lizbeth.

Choosing a spiritual path is far superior to choosing a Pharisaical judgmental spirit to attack others with.

I don't think you would agree, of course. Keep slinging the mud....but the more you do so, the more it sticks to you.

No idea if this applies to you personally or not, I only tried to answer your question. No problem.

The heart of God is revealed in His word, which some like to make light of unfortunately.

The heart of God, is revealed to our heart, by divine heart revelation.

The Bible confirms this, just as Gods word says.

How do you test the revelation?

The ENTRANCE of the word gives light.
Scripture Consistency
Revelation should align with the Bible, which is God’s ultimate standard of truth (2 Timothy 3:16). Anything contradicting the core doctrines, the nature of God, or biblical principles should be rejected, as Scripture serves as a foundation to discern truth from error (Isaiah 8:20).

Examine the Fruit
Jesus taught that true teachings and revelations will bear good spiritual fruit (Matthew 7:15-20). A revelation should promote love, peace, humility, and righteousness, reflecting the fruit of the Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23). If it leads to confusion, pride, division, or sin, it should be carefully scrutinized.

The Character of Jesus Christ
Any true revelation will honor Jesus as Lord, affirming His divinity, humanity, and role in salvation (1 John 4:1-3). It should also uphold the gospel message and Jesus’ teachings, rather than diminishing or distorting His work on the cross.

The Inner Witness of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit bears witness to truth and guides believers into all truth (John 16:13). Prayerfully seek the Spirit’s guidance to discern whether a revelation is from God or not (1 Corinthians 2:10-14). The Spirit's confirmation often brings a sense of peace rather than anxiety or confusion.

Counsel from Mature Believers
Scripture encourages seeking wise counsel from other believers, especially mature ones who are rooted in the Word and experienced in discernment (Proverbs 11:14). Testing a revelation in the context of trusted community provides accountability and clarity.

Consistency with God’s Nature
A true revelation will reflect God’s holy, loving, and righteous character (James 3:17). Any message that depicts God in a way inconsistent with His revealed nature—whether cruel, manipulative, or self-contradictory—is suspect.

Fulfillment of the Revelation (If Applicable)
Prophetic revelations, in particular, should be fulfilled if they genuinely come from God (Deuteronomy 18:21-22). However, if they fail to come true, they are not from God and should be disregarded.

By applying these principles, we create a well-rounded approach to test revelations, rooted in Scripture and godly wisdom.
