I agree, but it takes a certain mindset to want to look up the original language and educate yourself in how ancient Geek and Hebrew work, but I'm an engineer. Most people aren't wired like that.

I open the BLB in a different tab than my BibleGateway.com and BLB has many translations so you can easily go to your translation and look up the exact word that they used in your translation and see exactly what word in Greek or Hebrew that it was translated from. And there is a lot of information on that site about the languages, and the other places in scripture that you find that word and just about everything you can imagine. I dont know Greek or Hebrew, and I aint very computer literate and I find it easy for me! It just click click click, Scripture, verse tools, definition! ust that fast so it's Free and totally worth it to go explore BLB website and run everything through the concordance. If I can do it, anyone can! You get used to it and then it's real fast.

What's really cool is when you realize through reading the definition and usage of the word in the original language and you realize the translators were sleepig that day they translated it! That by applying a different definition or useage to the word it can make the entire passage take on a new meaning or fits even better than the way that the sleepy translators did it! It's worth it.

You dont know what he's talking about?! Oh come on Brother! Most Christians cant even tell you why they believe what they believe! You couldnt/wouldnt answer me that when I asked it of you awhile back!

People pick up things from a lot of different sources and sort of build their own theology. And I can't say that's wrong because no one has all the answers and I've heard even the best preachers utter incorrect words. That doesnt mean they're false pprophets or anything like that, it means we're human and humans make mistakes.

But a sort of selfishness cause some people to misunderstand some important truths because...that tickled his ears, he liked hearing that! And it's very easy to get off track if you dont study with the Holy Spirit.

We have to remain teachable. Seems like people dont want to be wrong so get arrogant and stuff, but have you ever made a mistake? I have. Plenty of them. It does not make me feel bad to be corrected...if it is correct and I can comprehend my error in thinking! I'd be like, hmmm, time to pray. And if a person has lost their ability to be teachable through pride or ego, then it'll be just like Pilgrims Progress, he went further and further away from the path...

a far better question is whycome todays gospel , so called good news
REFUSE TO REMIND all OF THE DIRE NECESSITY to BELEIVE ON JESUS THE CHRIST
as did all them apostels .
WHY rather does todays good news seem to rather try and preach a means to Salvation
without having had to BELIEVE ON JESUS the CHRIST .
ASK THAT . exactly . We got men at work trying to unify the religons for what they believe will usher in world peace n safety .
ASK rather , HOW come when we read the bible and see the acts of the apostels
they had went about PREACHING THE ALL OUT NEED to BELIEVE ON JESUS the CHRIST
and NOT common ground .
And ask yaself WHY COME they were even shaking the dust off their feet against those who FAILED to Beleive on JESUS the CHRIST .
THEN ask yaself , WHY COME today all we hear about is finding common ground
and about how all religoins are serving GOD etc . THE WHY COME IS cause satan has infiltrated
