Oh, so then you havent done study yet. You should because it's true. I went through it all before and in Daniels time the info wwas given to them what exact day Jesus would be make himself know as the Messiah and make his triumphant entry into Jerusalem. I dont have all my notes out but I promise you it is there.

You have said some things in threads that I agree with here and there, but the tone of most of your threads sow doubt and a negative energy over the word of God. Is that what you want to do? I dont care how much you say that you love God and His Word and ll that, you sow seeds of dubt upon His word with your thread titles which always have negative energy attached to them. How is that possible if you are a son of God?
Jack "misunderstood" you right off the bat, 2nd post, 1st reply to your thread. So...am I imagining it? NO! It was your words which he picked up on.
Name 10 things the Lord has done for you. Are you able to do that?
You base the veracity of the whole Bible on your Eschatological opinions of one book.

No. Groupthink is simply a held "belief" that is based on no more than what most others believe. Think "majority opinion." Quite often, a church's statement of faith is held as truth simply because it is written by someone to say "This is what we decided to believe." Often, they will list proof texts that seem to support their beliefs and neglect those texts which claim "not so fast."
As I implied earlier, the people who get the most upset, angry, and insulting are the same ones who memorized the proof texts.
Exactly, hence the capitalization of the words. For each who claim that they have a copy of "The Bible," there are errors contained within each. Therefore, one of more must not be "The Bible" because "God's Word" does not contain errors.
I know there are many who believe (or want to, anyway) that in their hands; they hold the truth.
Does anyone find it odd that the same person who says that every word in his bible is true, yet ignore the four passages that I presented. In short, nobody can teach you. Only God and His Son can, yet people do not look to ether one of them for truth. They look to some man to do that. Because of that, there are threads insulting followers of John Calvin, followers of Charles Stanley, followers of Joel Osteen, etc, etc. We should follow NO man.
I am well aware of the time and effort required to apply hermeneutics to our studies and the resources that can help immensely. However, I reach no conclusions until Yahweh and His Son give me the conviction that I cannot escape. All else is just a reason to examine what a person believes.

Demands? What demands? Who doesnt like sharing the goodness of the Lord? Lol, it's not a demand brother, calm down. I was trying to inject a lighter mood into the thread, besides, I like hearing form Brothers & Sisters what the Lord has done for them and their testimony's. Who dont like testimony's?

I dont think it matters anymore that some translations of the bible have errors in them because there are tons of free online tools and programs that can easily take us into the original language of the text like for instance

With resources like this then all one needs is a study program and go verse by verse. and truth will grow because, you're right, there's quite a bit that is misunderstood because of a poor translation. But with resources like these it doesnt matter because you wind up reading the original language and text that was in place before any translations came along.
It takes longer to read this way but it's worth it.
