how doesn you really know if the greek he be a using is really greek or is it twisted to rather fit an agenda .

Greetings all.

Been awhile, but the Lord is leading me back, so looking forward to getting reacquainted with old friends and maybe make a few new ones.

If you have a Festus-ism you are fond of, please feel free to share. He was a great intellect, with a keen insight on life. I'm trying to pattern my life after him now. I'm even trying to look like him, but I haven't found a hat that looks just like that quite yet.

Blessings sister! You and I go way back, and I think it started here actually, so tag me any time you like... unless you're in a knock down drag out with Calvinists or something. I'm just trying to enjoy a spot of tea right now and avoid all the kerfuffles if at all possible.

Hey there, Wrangler!

That's an excellent question... As of today, I'd have to say surrender. He's been really good to me in some ways, but also really tough on me in others. In a variety of ways I guess I'm just coming to the place of letting Him have everything more than ever before. I make less and less of my own decisions, so the hard part now is trusting Him that where He is taking me is going to be ok. But at least it's a good feeling knowing I take orders more. Kind of relieves you of the stress of having to figure as much out yourself, but it increases the stress of uncertainty, cuz your hands aren't on the wheel anymore.

I've also learned that losing patience on a Christian forum is not a good look, and I was doing too much of that when I was here before. I turned a new leaf when I took off to elsewhere, and I've done much better. Just looking to see if I can keep it up here.

It's hard to elaborate on the emptiness if you have not experienced it. I suppose it has to do with purpose. Scripture tells us that God will write a new law on our hearts. Jeremiah 31:33. In the void, you discover the law on your heart, a yearning, a calling to repent, to return to your Creator, to rediscover your purpose.

Once, I was devoted to TV. Then I was devoted to running. Next, I was devoted to self-improvement, if not self-exhaltation. Only after loosing everything in the Great Recession, looking into the abyss, did I see the choice. Repent or die. I nearly died. Fortunately, unlike Judas, I chose life.

Yes, the way of Christ is persuasion not coercion. Just to invoke a non-theologicial debate a politically consevative friend had with his liberal brother, the discussion was about laws controlling ones body. The liberal brother denied that putting someone in a 6' x 6' jail cell is controlling what one does with ones own body.

My politically consevative friend was frustrated at this brother. My advice was once you spell it out clearly for someone, and you realize they refuse to accept the truth, you have to leave it there. The conversation has encroached on the irrational and there is no benefit proceeding.

A theological example from this same consevative friend, who had a large beard, was coincidently a week after I sent him a Scripture verse commanding not to shave ones beard. He showed this verse to his liberal friends. They denied the validity of the Scripture verse on the grounds that he showed them the verse on his smart phone and not a paper book. They don't have eyes to see or ears to hear.

All we can do is our part - even within Christendom.

Posting this in multiple forums because I feel the need to get the word out, and thank you to everyone for the warm welcome. It's good to be back.

Warning: Please Pray For Trump!



Please pray for former President Elect Donald Trump. A friend sent me a dream this morning, and it suggests another assassination attempt is coming, possibly tomorrow, and this one could be successful. Here was the dream he sent me:

I am standing under a very large metal roof pavilion. No lights on under the pavilion but it is daytime, I am the only one under the pavilion and the only person in the dream. I look to my left and outside the pavilion I see ambulances of different shapes and sizes but they are in straightly parked rows all facing to my right, they are parked very close together.

In another grouping right next to the ambulances are funeral hearses of different shapes but all shiny and clean as the ambulances were too. The hearses are all parked closely together in straight rows and are all facing right as the ambulances were, the ambulances and hearses were not mixed together, they were in separated groups but still where the parked ambulances ended the parked hearses began there was no space between the two groups of vehicles.

Further to my right next to the hearses is a automobile junk yard, the junkyard is not full and cars are parked in a haphazard fashion in groups of two or three with lot of room between them and trees and bushes are growing up next to the junked cars, it looks as though no one visits the junk yard much anymore. I have my 35mm camera with me, I have just loaded a roll of film and advance the film to snap off a few pictures that will be of no good because it is the film leader, but the camera shutter snaps without me pressing the button. I now walk out from under the pavilion to take pictures of the junk yard. End of Dream.



I then asked what the mood was behind all the hearses, and he replied:

The dream had an overall feeling of impending doom and dread, no other people in the dream, just me. The first thing I thought about after having this dream was a Trump rally, as in Trump speaking from under a pavilion. So I looked at Trump's schedule, Macon GA, tomorrow and here is what it looks like.




If not in Georgia then someplace else, but this could be tomorrow. So please pray that both he and the country are protected from what would be a great tragedy.

Blessings in Christ to all who read these words and pray for our former President.

Just read a note from my brother who sent the dream this morning, and what he said witnessed with my spirit, because I had been realizing the same thing today while meditating on it.

His post:
I pray it is not a mass causality event of some type, all of those ambulances and hearses. Trump may not be the primary target.

My response:
That's the same thing I was thinking. Like a bombing incident, possibly somewhere where there are a lot of parked cars, or an actual junkyard. I have no idea what the layout of that facility in Macon is, but it makes perfect sense.

Pray for the safety of everyone at that rally tomorrow. They are innocent people who do not deserve being harmed.
