Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus cried out, My God, My God! Jesus said, why call Me good, there is none good but God alone.

Is Jesus, Creator of this creation? Yes. Was He one of the 'Us' and 'Our' Who created humans? Yes.
And God called His Son "GOD"!

Read Heb 1.

Would you agree that Jesus saw only what He was shown by His Father? And the rest was a mystery to Him.

I don't know what He knows now. But I do know that He shares more truths to us now than He did 2000 years ago. It seems that we can handle it now but not then.

Jesus, like us, could not reveal what was not revealed to Him. As He is informed He can inform us.
He wasn't wrong, He just didn't know what was going to happen in the future.
What's your response Jack?

People choose to believe the things they have heard from people they trusted. The error was made when the choice of who to trust was made. The second error was in not searching for truth beyond what we were taught.

But who do you trust? Who taught you? And where do you search to find truth?

At one time, I was taught in Seminary. Since then, I have learned to instead be taught by Yahweh how to understand the scriptures. I was a process for me, and I did not expect it. I thought I understood. Well, I did. I understood what man taught, but I had not searched the scriptures. Once I opened myself to the scriptures, my Father gave me understanding on those questions that bothered me so much.
Even though I was taught hermeneutics, I did it in a manner that avoided those passages that showed some doctrines in error. It was like I was still in Sunday School with prescribed proof texts.

Yes I can relate now that I'm being taught by Yahweh's Spirit, like you. And my diet was exclusively scriptures. Then the Spirit convicted me that I had made it my first port of call, not Him. I ran to consult the bible regularly every day. And not God Himself. After repenting of this practice Yahweh has been dropping revelations directly into my spirit which has transformed my thinking and life.

I was blind but now I see!

I can relate to you. I once depended on teachers to teach, lead, correct me. Then I stopped, as I was becoming dependent on them.

Then I only read the bible, nothing else. It was my first port of call. It relied on it to teach, lead, correct and transform me into the image I interpreted it to present to me. But then I found that I had formed a wrong image, an image of my imagination which I formed from the extremly limited information provided by the bible.

The bible was my instruction manual of how to build a good Christian. But I found that though I was builting myself according to the instructions in the manual, there was something missing.

It was a Person, the Spirit of the Christ Who I longed to be like.

I put the manual away and concentrated on spending time establishing a strong relationship with this Person. Since then He has be injecting His new Divine power into me and over time He has been changing me from the inside out.

The image I got from reading that bible manual was distorted. The image others formed from reading the same manual was distorted. But now that the Spirit of the original Designer and blueprint is living in me, He is transforming me independent of that partial instruction manual.

I found it has so many missing pages and therefore incomplete and incapable of assisting me to complete this task.

The thing was, the bible gave me general information and advice but it failed to give me specific tailored detailed information to me, for me, about the new me.

Now I simply rely on Yahweh to build me into the image He designed beforehand that I should become. And He has sent His master, extremly skilled Builder to complete the task. Thank God for His Divine Spirit Who moves on site and is reconstructing us from the inside out!

Now it is Him not me. The Spirit is my Project Manager not me. I fired myself and put away the incomplete manual. Life is still challenging, sometimes even more so, but now I know and have utmost confidence that this project is in great hands, the hands of the Creators Who said, Let Us make man in Our image.

Thanks for this response. I still dive deep into scripture to learn what Yahweh confirms for me. Some things, He has not confirmed, so they remain questionable for me. But the two commandments that His Son gave are the kernel from which I work to grow. Typically, those who accept what their "teachers" say do not understand what I am saying. God will bring to mind a truth which we cannot deny - if we trust Him rather than the views of a theologian.

Good advice, we're better off taking God's words for it hey.

That is why a personal relationship with the One Jesus said His Father would send to us is crucial.

Because without Him how could anyone know what Jesus is getting from His Father at any given time and giving to us.

We need Holy Comforting Spirit of Truth to enlighten us individually. It's great knowing that Jesus has a tailored life for every individual person which requires tailored truth, instructions, resources just for me, different for you.

Thank you for voicing what your thoughts are.

There even people who are of differing religions who seek out the Father in heaven. They may not know everything about Yeshua, or even Yahavah, but they seek, and that is what is important.

Screenshot 2024-11-03 173751.png

There are people who go about life not seeking Yahavah at all, and they place their faith in something totally different.

Yahavah will judge and know the hearts of people, and to me. Yeshua is still the way, the truth, and the life which sets people right before Yahavah, but those with limited scope or even knowledge, can be given the holy spirit/spirit of Christ in their hearts and they seek to do Gods will which is to believe, faithfully, and to love and shun evil.

I can see that Spyder. In the end it is all about faith, and of course love. Thank you.

Ain't no Yahavah in the Bible.

People can believe however they want. It’s not up to me. It’s up to them. My desire is to stick to as close to truth as possible, with what’s been given in the Bible.

Which Bible says Yahavah? Why don't you stick with "Jesus"? Honestly is sounds like you're ATTACKING Jesus, God of the Bible. Give us some BIBLE quotes that say "Yahavah"!!!

Some think using hebrew words makes them closer to the Lord and gives them more favor with the Lord than those that speak other languages.

Hello @Dan Clarkston,

I just like to be able to use some form of the name rather than just God. Many people don’t believe he has a name or that his name is unimportant. Which is not true. Yahweh/Yahavah/Jehovah/ however it may be used is all to encompass the name of the creator; whether people believe or acknowledge or care about those things is on themselves. Moses made Yahavahs name known, and so did Jesus. YHVH, or YHWH. It’s just up to people if they desire to make it known to the best of one’s ability but it doesn’t make anyone more special than the next person. All those who seek for God, are known by God even if they don’t know the name. Many tell me it’s Jesus name we should use but I don’t believe that is so, praying in Jesus name I believe is okay, or even Yeshuas name is okay, but people can address God by his name Yahavah, or by Father or another preferred way like LORD GOD, etc…

I just try to go by what’s in the Bible, and not just what people say.

Exo 6:3
I appeared to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, as God Almighty; but by my name Yahweh/Yahavah I was not known to them.
