Is Faith A Person?

That was an oversight that I didnt state that also, and it absolutely is true. We are all in Christ, and Christ is in us. Scripture says anything not done in faith is sin. I think that's code talk for walk with the Spirit every day and dont make any of your (our) own decisions. What's that mean? Lord, should I buy this thing? in other words, pray without ceasing? Be talking to and walking with the Holy Spirit not only every day but every moment!

That's a good point and illustrates that many people dont understand faith. You have a good handle on this I see.
Why not? God gives people spouses quite a bit I've heard.
Who knows for sure if a fruit can be a person? Maybe on a level that we dont understand yet? After all, scripture does say that all of Creation praises the Lord...so we dont know the language of fruit so can only perceive it as a vibration. But perhaps it is conscious if it can praise God!
Salvation? I wouldnt think so as I *think* it's a descriptive term, but what do I know?
Righteousness? I wouldnt think so because our righteousness is our good deeds to others and sowing love into the world...our morality? But! I dont think it would surprise me a bit tofind out that God personified Righteousness into a sentinent being, lol. Oh wait, it is the righteousness of God that is in me. I am the righteousness of God in Christ. But most people call me Edward.
I dnot feel righteous so that is in my spirit?
I'm not sure about all that. Do you know the Greek language?
Solomon talks about Wisdom having a voice so Wisdom seems to be a person. Why not Faith perhaps? (Proverbs 1)

I wisdom dwell with prudence . Read chapter eight of proverbs itself . He possesed ME in the beginning
I was with HIM . that is wisdom talking . WHO is made the WISDOM of GOD unto us . JESUS THE CHRIST .
yep . now march onwards my friend and let all that draws breath praise the glorious LORD .
Just as truth . I AM the TRUTH the WAY and THE LIFE .

Another way of looking at it...Faith is a gift from the Holy Spirit, he isn’t a physical person, he is still a person according to the Bible isn’t he, even though he isn’t Jesus, think on the 3...I can’t explain anymore as it’s a banned subject.
Also, whose fruit do we bear , the fruit of the Spirit...who works in our hearts to bear the fruit of Jesus?
The Holy Spirit Of course, he is a person in his own right,
We have the faith and person of the Holy Spirit residing in our hearts/ spirit....we have been Born Of God’s seed.

Maybe Faith is a person I think. I doubt if Faith is a person that God would not need to make a people of Faith. Probably only one Faith for all of mankind. We learn in scripture that any spirits good or evil can come together or be in different places at once (being in different places is a Guess because the Spirit of God is Omnipresent, so is He really in a bunch of different places or in all encompassing all? I dunno.
But the spiritual realm seems like it has a whole different set of physics and how it works.

Seems you just don’t get personification. I often tell my wife, “Dinner, she’s ready.” It does not mean we are cannibals.
Pilgrims Progress is a great example of using people’s names for virtue. Their names were capitalized.

I agree with what you said, but who can say how many beings and Angels and spirits that the Lord has made in total? He has a lot of people on earth to keep track of and teach different things.
If Faith is a person (or a spirit) of the Lord then, why couldnt it be personified to do his/hers specific job? It's a big job to redeem all of His people from the corruption. It sort of feels to me like if Faith is a person, what is his job, speciffically?
In my experience, my Faith encourages me. Is that him whispering in my ear? I also feel an unction to walk in a greater faith. Is that him too? Is it the Holy Spirit? Or are they all one doing the same work, but different aspects of the huge rescue job? We already know that there is one Lord, we are in Christ, Christ is in us we become one with Him, so if Faith is a person, then he is one with God also. Prolly just ike the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the very essence of the Lord God and He has a specific job to accomplish, but it is stil the Father and is still Jesus, but is not.
Nobody said that Faith was Jesus. Neither is Gabriel, or Michael, or anyone. But we are in Christ and one with Him. And we need Faith! And Belief! Lord help our unbeief!
It's very amazing! I think He does this because I watch the God verion of Twilight Zone instead of man's television show, lol.
I think it is normal Christianity and I know what I say at times is very far fetched to a lot of christians. But the things that the Lord does for me or outs in my head or heart is pretty out there according to the tripe that they taught me as a kid. So it does make for an interesting journey.
Why do some beievers never see any miracles while others (like me) see small miracles almost every day? It comes from pressing in and believing it without understanding which many find hard because the are tuned in to Man's Twilight Zone!
There's a LOT more to it than we all learned in Sunday school! I know how Abraham felt. He didnt know where he was going at all or what was happening! He just beieved God without understanding and obeyed, and you see where that got him?! Wow! Abraham had faith in the Lord and just trusted Him and so pressed in and pressed on We can too, the price has been paid!
I have a hard copy of Pilgrims Progress, great book!
And apparently, in Proverbs 1 and 8 their names were not capitalized in English. So someone else wrote the two different books. The guy who wrote Pilgrims Progress was perhaps typin too fast to notice that he should have capitlized names, and the minimum wage typesetter didnt proofread it? Lol. Could be!
But the Lord didnt go too fast typing His books. I dwell with prudence? Wisdom has a voice, and the Lord didnt capatlize them, did He? Or maybe that was the minimum wage type setter again in the translation?
That's you & your Wife. Of course the statement is facetious.
But the question put forth is, is scripture being facetious?

Mysterious ways . OH HE DO . but his mysterious ways have no part or lott in the MYSTERY and mysteriious of INQUITY .
KEEP and bear that in mind . His works are not known to the sons of men
And the carnal mind cannot recieve that which is and cometh of GOD .
IF a man cometh and preaches GOD work in mysterious ways , AND YET USES that
to jusitfy some kind of work that is ACCEPTING A LIE , or inquity of any sort , YEAH GOD DONT work that kind
of mystery . that is rather THE WORK of the MYSTERY of INQUITY . and boy has it been at work .

God dont work mysterious ways that contradict HIS WAY . any voice
that tries to imply that HE DO , IS A LIAR .
GOD is not gonna all of a sudden come up with a new mysterious way and that way
DENY HIS OWN SON . THE DIRE NEED TO HAVE TO BELIEVE ON HIM .
THAT IS which cometh of anti christ , that is the work of the mystery of INQUITY .
GOD dont lie . HIS SPIRIT dont lie . GOD the FATHER testifies of the SON
the SPIRIT testifies of THE SON
FOR GOD IS TRUTH , HIS SPIRIT IS TRUTH , HIS WORD is TRUTH . and any man , woman , child , donkey or angel
that cometh and preaches ANY OTHER GOSPEL than the TESTIMONY OF GOD which TESTIFIES OF THE SON ,
YEAH DONT HEED THAT VOICE , rather let them be accursed . DO KEEP this in mind .
