Just a little rant...

I'm realizing that the reason I don't fit within most discussions is that I see so many Christians relying on intellect rather than hearing directly from God. I see Christians relying on all their worldly "learning", science, dogma ... most of which was orchestrated and produced to deceive and steer the masses in a direction away from God and the truth of His Word. So we have "Christians" interpreting scripture and coming to conclusions through the lense of ungodly science (science falsely so called, as scripture calls it) and whatever they see and hear in the media (no matter the source).

Why have those who say they are believers left off believing His Word for what it says? They see "intellects" saying something different, and they readily let go of truth to reinterpret what God has said in His Word.

I am seeing the group who actually loves the truth (God's Word) is becoming smaller and smaller.

Just frustrated....and saddened. This is actually a serious issue, because the elites are gearing up for such major deception that many will be swept under the current. And they have targeted the Christian community and readied them to accept their narrative. It's already been demonstrated many times how easily even those who say they are Christians will fall in rank and file like everyone else.

I used to be an "intellectual" Christian. Looking back on it now, I can safely say I had no real relationship with the Lord Jesus, I was only interested in demonstrating what great intellectual powers I possessed. I agree it is very serious; our own intellect offers no power or protection from the evil one. There comes a time when we have to stop being the boss and become the servant.

Where do we see man's knowledge or logic or science as the means to find God or to serve God?

Ro 1:17For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Heb 11:1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Heb 11:6But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
Heb 12:2Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith;

People like that don't hang out on internet forums.
Although that struck me in a humorous way, I believe you're right about that, brother.

The finale was 2,000 years ago. This is just the final act. Not to worry, the Lord is in the battle to the end.

Yet we are told," 15 But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect, 16 keeping a clear conscience, so that those who speak maliciously against your good behavior in Christ may be ashamed of their slander." 1 peter 3.

Christianity is not a mystery religion, it is based on historical facts, the faith that we have is based on what we know to be true.

Yes many people preferred to believe what an atheistic, evolutionary so called science tells them.
But not all scientists are evolutionists.
Check our answers in genesis or creation.com.

Note science today only works because of the Christian world view it is based upon.

I am not refuting true science, history, or archeological finds that verify scripture. What I am referring to are those who believe everything with the label of "science" or some other scholarly label, especially where they try to exalt "science" over scripture. For example, evolution ....some who call themselves Christian believe that God created mankind through evolution despite what scripture says. That is just one example. Science falsely so called seeks to undermine and chip away at people's faith in the truth of scripture.

So ...where the God-breathed scripture states very clearly things about creation, most who call themselves christian believe scholars and organizations with occult foundations (such as NASA, for example) over scripture ...their excuse being that people 3,000 or 4,000 years ago didn't understand the universe so you have to reinterpret their wording. NOW ....WHO authored the scriptures?? Man, or is all scripture God-breathed?? Who do YOU believe? God, or man?

This is very serious, because confidence in the Word of God is hard to find these days.

Luke 18:8
[8]I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Understand what I'm getting at?

What came to mind reading the post here was, the dividing of the wheat and the tares. I think this is happening. Even though I am a fairly new Christian, so I am lacking experience or watching over a longer time frame, but it just might become more evident, the very few real Christians relying solely on the Lord...and the ones who follow the world and will fall for the anti-christ. They fall into the agenda, not realizing it. Due to what you say sister, no discernment, not in the Word. Relying on man and mans teachings. Its so dangerous.

Yes, thats even a smaller group of Christians being in the truth on that matter. Deception is so strong. The lies in this world are so powerful. But Gods Truth can shatter these lies

I was very studious in commentaries and study bibles, when I went to bible studies. But God, through the Holy Spirit, told me to rely on His word. Meaning, don't look at YouTube video teachings, or use study bibles, no more commentaries, etc. I sold them all and gave away the others. The Holy Spirit teaches me now. I used to have a sizable library. I had over 40 bibles, and now, I use four. I can relax now, and Jesus leads me to understanding His word better.

Ditto….I do not “go” to “church”…but “attend” church everyday…in Christ’s Church….I don’t tune in to tv Preachers….(as a matter of fact, don’t tune in to any tv programing…)…no cable…don’t use commentaries…read and reread Scripture, always finding something new to discuss with God!
And on a regular basis am told my posting comments ‘make no sense’….amusing to me, because they are not suppose to make “sense” to a carnal mind seeking carnal answers to spiritual topics and spiritual understanding, which only comes from the Lord God Himself.

God bless you.

Glory to God,
