It will get better, you can trust God

I know now what its like to have doors shut all around you. To have month after month of being told "no" or "wait" from God. To have what we need, thankfully, but almost nothing else.

What I need, however is not simply the leeway to do what I want with money. I need to trust the Lord and prayerfully accept His timing and provision on things.

So I cry out, I decided to vent only to Him now. I repeat the promises and remember that God is good even in times of shut doors, uncertainty, and stress.

He is still the Lily of the Valley. The Bright and Morning Star. The Lord is still our hope today and He wants us to endure, still loving, still doing good, still giving thanks.

He knows that what we really need is to depend on Him for all our needs and longings. And we can trust He won't waste our pain and sad moments.

17) Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls:

This is what my life is starting to look like. So my mission is this:

18) Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.

I don't know whether my circumstances will improve or not, still I can trust God.
