USSC Justice Scalia wrote an opinion a little while before his murder as to why the Constitution wouldn't let California secede. They at the time threatened secession quite often.

I think Scalias opinion would cover any state of a mind to secede.

What would Arizona and others do with all those illegals afterward if they did secede?
