I have been thinking about that family a lot today, but also considering the fact that many believe that God protected Trump, I believe he was just very fortunate and that its right that Trump and others are grateful for that fact. I do not believe that Trump had divine protection though or that it was just the other persons ‘ time to die ‘ ………

I agree. But i hear this a lot where God saved someone in circumstances where others were not spared. I’ve seen videos of a tornado skipping one house and then hitting another and killing people. The people documenting the tornado on video voicing …that it skipped their house because they rebuked the tornado. We claim often that it was divine intervention, in circumstances where others lost their lives. I’m not saying that to prove or disapprove divine intervention. Only voicing Trumps coming through with his ear only grazed when it’s obvious the bullet was meant for his head …and others not so fortunate….is not the first time it’s said to be divine intervention “that I’m still here.” It goes on everyday… even in hospital rooms.

Oh I understand why people themselves would say or believe that , but it doesn't automatically make it fact. I do believe there are times when people feel an inner strong conviction to go a certain way, or make a certain choice which ultimately leads to them being kept from harm and that for me is divine intervention.

They reported on the radio this morning that many of President Trump's regular Secret Service agents had been pulled off for a temporary assignment to Jill Biden, with temporary replacements brought in to protect the president for the rally.

So . . . the question comes unbidden to my mind . . . why? Why not use the temporaries for Dr. Jill? What was so compelling that they needed to pull off the president's regular detail and give him replacements that could have been assigned to Jill Biden?

Am I the only one who smells a rat here? Swap out the SS, leave open a strategic rooftop. Don't talk about conspiracy theory to me, I'm just saying what was done.

Granted, I'm not the least bit convinced that the majority of what's reported by any outlet is reliable, but it's starting to look like the Trump SS detail have been emphatically requesting help for months to meet increasing threats, and have been summarily dismissed by DHS—undeniably under Democratic management.

But let's not pretend that conspiracy theories don't exist. Conscientious, intelligent folks are taken in by them all the time. Unclassified 20th century history bears that out pretty well, I'd say.

I agree about the officer having a gun. I’m only saying it all happened quickly the part about the officer being aimed at, leaving to save his life, then the shooter turning the gun toward the crowd instead. Still don’t understand why if the shooter aimed at the officer but didn’t fire a shot.

He wasn't there to kill a cop. He knew once seen by an officer that he had limited time. Because the cop would alert others.

Though in truth that roof should have never been accessible if SS followed protocol.

It clearly sounds to me like law enforcement dropped the ball. No excuses. I listened to an interesting speech from Matthew Murphy who is a retired Green Beret and level 1 sniper in counter assassinations voice his two cents on what happened. Dan Bongino (who is a former Secret Service agent) stated that a decent sniper can easily hit a target out to 500 yards or more so why is the Secret Service claiming the building the shooter used to fire at Trump (which was a little over 100 yards away) wasn't their responsibility? I can't repeat what Dan said after that. Let's just say he is furious! It all smells fishy to me and it will be very interesting to see how this all plays out.
