They reported on the radio this morning that many of President Trump's regular Secret Service agents had been pulled off for a temporary assignment to Jill Biden, with temporary replacements brought in to protect the president for the rally.

So . . . the question comes unbidden to my mind . . . why? Why not use the temporaries for Dr. Jill? What was so compelling that they needed to pull off the president's regular detail and give him replacements that could have been assigned to Jill Biden?

Am I the only one who smells a rat here? Swap out the SS, leave open a strategic rooftop. Don't talk about conspiracy theory to me, I'm just saying what was done.

By the details given the policeman was coming up and …saw a gunman pointing a gun at him. It doesn’t sound like he was near enough to take the shooter down. It sounds like (by the reports) when the shooter saw a policeman had caught sight of him…it all happened at the same time: the policeman ducking for fear of being shot to the shooter realizing it was now or never and the shooter started firing. I agree with some comments I’ve read where this may be why the shooters aim was off, because of his being rushed. I don’t know what would have been any different if the policeman wouldn’t have duck fearing for his life, but instead he would have been shot and not close enough to take the suspect down…he would have been a dead cop (another death count) and the gunman would have …after shooting the cop immediately opened fire. If anything the cop risking his life to go up to the roof spooked the gunman who didn’t have enough time to get a good aim at Trumps head. Just my opinion. I don’t think this police officer is the blame. You can’t do anything to help if your dead. Spilt second deciding…duck or not.

The officer had a gun.

If the suspect immediately opened fire after being seen he would have been occupied firing into the crowd and at Trump.

The officer would hear this and know that.

I have been thinking about that family a lot today, but also considering the fact that many believe that God protected Trump, I believe he was just very fortunate and that its right that Trump and others are grateful for that fact. I do not believe that Trump had divine protection though or that it was just the other persons ‘ time to die ‘ ………
I realise many will not agree, but I don’t really care.

I agree about the officer having a gun. I’m only saying it all happened quickly the part about the officer being aimed at, leaving to save his life, then the shooter turning the gun toward the crowd instead. Still don’t understand why if the shooter aimed at the officer but didn’t fire a shot.

Thats what I do not get. they saw the gunman 2 minutes before he fired the first shot. they even were yelling at law enforcement. Trump should have been shielded or removed from the podium at that time. Not wait until after the shots were fired..
