What Did Tony Evans Do?

Tony Evans ministry and products have taken a sharp nosedive since he resigned in disgrace from his role as Senior Pastor at his megachurch in Dallas.

But the specifics have not been released.
His son and daughter both are pastors and preaching...and apparently even though Tony claimed he told them...they claim they know nothing more than anyone else does.

The rumor mill has been busy though....in the vacuum of specific knowledge everything has been suggested from embezzlement to homosexual affairs to adulterous affairs. But nothing concrete has come out.

Anyone want to hazard a guess what his sin was?

It looks pretty simple, Tony Evans is 74 years old and he wants to take that $$$ and travel the world, it was an immediate opening for his son Jonathan 42 to take the pulpit, keeping the $family business going$

In a few moths it will be discovered a "Nothing Burger" while Tony Evans rode off in the sunset drinking Mai this on the beach in Tahiti

Nobody knows for sure...
That's the problem. Everything is a guess at this point. They have come against him with false accusations before...even with supposed evidence....all have been proven to be phoney.

So...until I see hard proof corroborated by others I'm not really going to believe any of it.

Then again we're told this kind of thing isn't for the whole of the congregation. Not at first at least.

If it's an old sin could it be what was thought false and made up before was actually now,later,found to be true?

Nope....
But he does have a few non-denominational studies out there on various topics that are widely accepted.

Truth is truth regardless of the source.
