But, aren't you trusting yourself (a human being) rather than the Church founded by Christ? Christ founded the Church (see Matt. 16:18-19). Not some mere human being coming along in the 16th century or later. And Christ promised that the "gates of hell" would never "prevail" over His Church. Are you claiming He lied or failed?

I am fortunate to live in an Era, of readily available Scriptures, I can purchase, own, AND was schooled and taught How to read, and Choose what and when I elect to read and study and make appeals TO the SUPREME TEACHER for His Understanding of His own words.
