Euro cup ( football )

Well we have the European cup starting…..just watched Scotland v Germany.
Germany were brilliant - 5-1
Not sure if other brits or those from Europe are into football. I usually watch this cup and the World Cup. My dad was a massive football fan so I use to watch the matches with him and my eldest son.
England play on Sunday, so I will watch it with my daughter now that we live next door to one another.
Germany and England both have players from my local football club , Brighton and Hove Albion- so I can kind of cheer both teams on this time round. ( Unless England play Germany of course !! )

It can be sometimes, but I think it’s more about your own country playing. For us Brits it’s still trying to get that ‘ World Cup ‘ back since 1966. When we play Germany there is friendly rivalry but it’s a real battle to win. My twin brother lives in Germany , he is often the only Brit with an English flag outside his house !
I find American football confusing - at least I know the rules ect in English football , I refuse to call it soccer !!!!!! lol

My son loves soccer. He lived in Australia.

I played soccer for a long time as a youth, made a lot of friends and had a lot of fun. Let us know how it turns out! I don't think I have capabilities to watch it online myself

Ray's a fan of football - soccer - and will be watching. He's not as dedicated as he once was though; at one time he would have the pull=out feature from the paper and enter all the scores as the games were played. He likes all football, not just one team, although he's always been a Bolton fan. He was watching a programme the other night about the 1971 Lionesses, the England women's team in Mexico. I am not and never have been a fan. I prefer rugby league but not enough to sit a watch a game on TV.

England won tonight’s match against Serbia, but they were very lucky. As ever England were hit and miss with their playing. At the moment we are top of our group.

I was watching the Scotland v Hungry one - it really livened up in the last 15mins. Hungry got a last min goal - so Scotland are now out!
My twin brother was watching the German game.
We must wait till Tuesday to see if England can play a better game, the last match was awful !
