Saw this on Fox an hour ago. Wonder if it will help or hurt Trump?

The judge presiding over former President Trump’s New York criminal trial notified his defense team on Friday of a comment on the court's public Facebook page that implies one of the jurors discussed the guilty verdict ahead of time.
Fox News obtained the letter Judge Juan Merchan shared with Trump defense attorneys and Manhattan prosecutors.

"Today, the Court became aware of a comment that was posted on the Unified Court System's public Facebook page and which I now bring to your attention. In the comment, the user, ‘Michael Anderson,’ states:

"’My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted! Thank you folks for all your hard work!!!!’"

The comment was posted on May 29 "regarding oral arguments in the Fourth Department of the Appellate Division unrelated to this proceeding."
The profile for "Michael Anderson" has little publicly available information, but the user identifies himself as a "Transabled & professional sh-- poster."

A Trump campaign official told Fox News Digital they are "investigating the matter."
Al Baker, state OCA spokesperson, said Friday that "as appropriate, the Court informed the parties once it learned of this online content."

Trump speaks at first campaign rally since conviction

Donald Trump returned to the campaign trail Thursday with a trip to Arizona, his first appearance in a battleground state since he was convicted in a hush money scandal, repeating his critiques of the case against him as politically motivated and calling for his conviction to be overturned on appeal.
The post came a day before Trump was found guilty on all 34 counts of falsifying business records in the first degree. Trump had pleaded not guilty to all charges.
The six-week-long trial stemmed from charges brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

The person who made the comment, has now come forward, stating he was lying. For those who investigated his facebook profile, they have shown he is just an internet troll. He apparently also deleted his original comment about being cousins with the juror. I've seen some content from the poster's facebook page posted on social media, and there is a lot of red flags in regards to his character.

Yes it’s been reported over here that the person posting had a reputation for posting rubbish.

Darn it.

Merchan’s decision to alert lawyers in a brief letter on Friday afternoon quickly riled up some commentators on the right, who seized on the message as a sign that Trump’s conviction in the hush money case was somehow tainted.

It was even being talked about last night by the lawyers who opine on TV about cases as late as 9:45.

Even Newsweek, and Forbes reported about Merchen's notifying both councils.

So... in the past 9 hours ... overnight it is proven false?

Funny, I cannot find the story on the web, and it has not made morning news here in PA.

I read from a legal expert that Merchen brought it to attention to both parties, so that Trump's lawyers couldn't bring it up during the appeal process. Here is a news article link, quoting the poster who made the comment, along with their admission that his post was fake. Something that was originally left out from screenshots of his original post was a self reply saying they married their cousin now. Which was another red flag for it being a troll post.

Six degrees of separation....

If they can show either a biological or marital relationship (current or expired) or even some sort of relationship with any juror....it's gonna be even more pain.

Everyone has a relationship with everyone...even around the world if you try hard enough.
And they are going to do a deep dive DNA analysis on this. So....it's not over till it's over.
