Costello , it was accepted, testified and no challenge of atty client priviledge was mentioned in the trial, in the grand jury, or on the 10 or 12 TV shows he was on.....

So if Costello broke it let Cohen sue him....

I appreciate that reading through days of testimony is painstaking, and for that reason the temptation to rely on what others say about the trial in the media is strong -- particularly when those talking heads happen to portray the trial in a way that comports with your own preconceived views. (Fox News, perhaps?) But I need to see the original in order to make up my own mind, and I'll put in the effort before saying anything about it. (Would you rely exclusively on Bible commentators in deciding what Scripture means, without ever once actually opening the Bible itself? Of course not! But aren't you doing something similar here?)

It simply means a Verdict of guilty was Pronounced in a court proceeding.

Never is a Verdict of “NOT guilty” Pronounced in a court proceeding.

There is an “illusion” the “courts” want to be provided and hear…ALL the FACTS and the TRUTH, being nothing but the Truth.

Facts relevant to particular cases ARE “routinely” with-held, from the ears of the Jury.

Irrelevant “sob stories, feelings, motives, opinions, known liars” ARE “routinely” substituted, unnecessarily to extend and muck up the proceedings.

UnConstitutional Positive and Penal Laws “routinely” are the First muck up in a court proceeding.

And add to THAT, the ignorance of the majority who SIT on a JURY panel, who have no idea which LAWS ARE within the parameter OF the Constitution or Not…and thus sorely unqualified to MAKE decisions based IN (valid/Constitutional) Law, rather than personal thoughts, opinions and feelings.

How many people end up in a jury pool selection process? Hundreds for any given case.

How are they selected to be in pool?
Many States…If they have a valid driver’s license.

How many of those “hundreds” in the “pool”, do you have a general guess have EVER WENT to a Law Library….opened a Law Book and Read a Law…and Read the Bill for the Intent of that Law…and Read the corresponding Regulation for that Law?

The Law of the Land…ie the US Constitution, could be hand written on NINE SHEETS of notebook paper.

Within the LIMITS of the US Constitution, Law “makers” ARE LIMITED within such Boundaries, to actually MAKE Laws.

The US “presently” has 50-53 (no one seems to concretely know for sure)…50 for sure VOLUMES ….yes individual BOOKS….of Statutes … ALL promulgated within the LIMIT of the TINY US Constitution Document!

Thousands of UN-Constitutional Laws are contained within those 50- (-51, 52, 53) Volume's of Law Books.

Even when Positive Laws are Repealed….there ARE cases where the Penalty Law FOR the (Repealed) Positive Law still remains and IS USE Against Citizens!

If you are referring to me . . . for the record, I don't think Trump should have been convicted, and I think his conviction will be overturned on appeal due to faulty jury instructions on the second" crime needed to upcharge from misdemeanor to felony. I've said this before (Post #168).

For the record, I don't think the case should even have been brought, given the length of time elapsing since the events charged.

That said, the trial was not "rigged." A "gross miscarriage of justice?" Well, perhaps. But "rigged"? No way. If your "other legal experts" say it was "rigged" (meaning things arranged in advance so that there could only be one inevitable outcome), please show me their statements to that effect.

Trials are “regularly”, conflicted for multiple reasons and when not addressed Before a trial begins….the advantage for ONE side…
Is the “conflicted” issues that LEAD to a “rigged” proceeding.
