And what scriptures do you have to prove your point? Yes, Romans 13:1-2 tell us:
Let every soul be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and the authorities that exist are appointed by God. 2 Therefore whoever resists the authority resists the ordinance of God, and those who resist will [
a]bring judgment on themselves. 3 For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to evil. Do you want to be unafraid of the authority? Do what is good, and you will have praise from the same.
But nothing in these verses tells us that Christians are to be involved in politics or vote.

- Voting is subject to human weaknesses - Jeremiah 10:23
- Most politicians are people-pleasers rather than God-pleasers
- This whole world is deceived - Revelation 12:9
- Satan is the god of this world - 2 Corinthians 4:4
- We are called to be separate from the world - 2 Corinthians 6:17
- Jesus would not participate in politics today - Tell me, who would Jesus vote for? Biden? Trump? Kennedy?
- Christians are part of God’s kingdom - John 18:36
- We are Ambassadors of Christ - 2 Corinthians 5:20; Philippians 3:20
- There’s no worthy candidate - Luke 14:11
