Cowardly: Churches Wanting To Be Known For What They Stand For?

Good post. Many shepherds are cowardly. They are compromised. The hirelings fear losing their pension, salary and position.

They sure as hell do not fear going to Hell ! because they are working towards only this world. Not the Kingdom of God that's for sure.
A Preacher has to be on fire for the Lord Jesus and never lukewarm, come hell or high water.

I think we would nearly all be shocked to discover how scripturally illiterate the preachers are. You can bet, though, that they all know what their seminaries told them to believe. We tend to think that seminaries know "the truth," Far from it. The teach what they are told to teach by the supporting denominations.

Anyone here believe that we can have conversations with our preachers on the same topics discussed here? Even here, some topics are prohibited because our tempers flare in this world that believes contrary opinions are a form of violence.

I stopped attending a couple churches when I found that the pastors refused to discuss scripture that went against their denominational doctrines. They use words like exegesis and eisegesis and hermeneutics, but they cannot validate their beliefs that they are required to hold in order to work at their churches.

The catch phrase used to shut people up is "you are unteachable."

I think, for these preachers, it's just a job.

Someone saying that one is unteachable ? that could be that they are un able to endoctrinate one ? because the one is not into swallowing lines to swallow without thinking in any depth, so one has real faith in the issue at hand.

Such so called Priest etc are only looking for fools to follow themselves in fact.

One gets driven away from such organisations, for they feer you will question them. They only want to dictate over all !

When one points out about faith ? and has no regards past that all you need is faith ? well i agree, but faith can and will grow in fact, but where they are at, it only on about just believe ? that's clearly called in the Bible, Oh you of little faith ! That is not good enough in fact, for the weeds of this world can strangle such faith and i have seen such in people from Bible studdy days that say 85% have turned away from having any faith at all now.
But the Bible points out that you need the Faith that can move mountains in fact ! and not to mention that one who is truly worthy is on Fire for Christ Jesus in fact ! and not lukewarm in fact.

For if one is lukewarm, you are of little faith in fact ! you will go ither way = weak ! not healthy.
I remember Jesus said that one would deny him 3 times before the Cock crowed ! but he denied that he would to Jesus.
So that proves that one need conviction to stand with Jesus !

Judges in the bible. Israel lacked Faith. God raised judges for Israel. The judges had Faith.

The apostles were example of what not to do. To deny Jesus.

Zechariah chapter 13:7. Strike the shepherd, and sheep will be scattered.

The apostles were not weak. They fulfilled bible prophecy. Peter was not weak.

These are examples of what not to do.

Peter was crucified upside for Jesus. All the apostles, except for John, were killed.

They were not scared or weak.

Zur in Hebrew means = apostates, strangers.
These are hirelings or shepherds, who sold out. Teaching traditions of men and false doctrine.
