Emmanuel means, God with us. That message of the angel to Mary was informing her of the Savior,not a savior, coming to earth.

He rules over creation because his Father God placed him in that position, But God retains the position of the Judge over creation. When satan stands to accuse the saints Satan is making the accusation to God so that God will rule in the favor of Satan. It is Jesus who is our advocate that counters those charges by being the one that took our punishment in our place.
