There was also no instrumentation to determine WHEN grape juice began to ferment. According to modern science, the fermentatin process begins immediately once yeast meets sugar. There is natural "wild yeast" on grape skins, so the process of fermentation begins as soon as one squishes a grape into itself.Don't bark at me. Do it again and you're blocked, understand?
You don't know what you're talking about, nor should you trust such ridiculous propaganda. Scripture says wherever nomadic Abraham settled, he did two things: he built an altar and DUG A WELL. The Philistines went around trying to stop his wells, but could not prevent Jesus from drinking from one such well.
There was no fracking, no chemical dumping, no acid rain, no nuclear radioactive runoff, no EPA necessary to control the widespread pollution happening today that harmed the wells of the ancients.
Where's your stats? And don't just show me 2 or 3. Show me the "many".The false claim by catholics that Jesus drank fermented booze (which has made necessary the many Recovery Centers for booze addicted priests and nuns) is blasphemy and will not go unnoticed on the Day of Judgment.
As if ancient people didn't know about the Eastern equivalent of a root cellar and other such means of preserving food and drink. Try again, DB.And “fresh grape juice” during a 3 day wedding celebration in the desert sun would have rendered it spoiled and Partially-fermented. And that’s IF it was squeezed on the DAY of the wedding – which it probably wasn’t.
DB.......stop slaving away at the feet of the Man of Sin and listen to the voice of reason:Question:
WHAT did Jesus mean when He said:
Mark 2:22
“And no one pours new wine into old wineskins. Otherwise, the wine will burst the skins, and both the wine and the wineskins will be ruined. No, they pour new wine into new wineskins.”
Answer:
They will BURST because of the gases that emanate from fermentation.
This is JESUS talking – not your goddess, Ellen White.
DB, I already explained to you the best of anything is always brought out first, then the inferior later, such as fresh grape juice then that which is still this side of juice - not booze, fresh bread then what is beginning to go stale, ripened fruit then that which ain't so ripe, etc.He said that people usually serve the good stuff FIRST – then when they’ve drunk freely, they serve the cheaper wine.
Jesus tells you papists there's only One mediator - Jesus. So, why do y'all insist we need the mediation of the Man of Sin and his "priests" and "saints"?The only kind of fool is the one who doesn’t take Jesus seriously . . .
I don't deny that the people drank freely of "wine" - I deny the word of you papists and your Man of Sin in Rome that it was booze they drank.Again – your asinine anti-Catholic manure aside – show me a SINGLE verse claiming that the Wedding guests at Cana refused any wine and did not “drink freely” of it.
Don't presume to solve a formula you can't even properly express on the board.Faith = Belief + Surrender/Obedience (Works) (Gal. 5:6, James 2:14-26).
How do YOU define faith?
The only instrument necessary to determine if grape juice is still fit for consumption is look, smell, and taste. There was also no instrumentation to determine WHEN grape juice began to ferment. According to modern science, the fermentatin process begins immediately once yeast meets sugar. There is natural "wild yeast" on grape skins, so the process of fermentation begins as soon as one squishes a grape into itself.
Do ya REALLY think that Christ didn't KNOW that?
Where's your stats? And don't just show me 2 or 3. Show me the "many".

Our senses are not always reliable. And I know that from personal experience. That's one reason why manufacturers put expiration dates on many perishables...including some beverages...including some wines. The only instrument necessary to determine if grape juice is still fit for consumption is look, smell, and taste.
Recovery centers specifically for alcoholic priests and nuns? In all honesty, no. I've never head of anything like that. But that doesn't mean there aren't any. And it would certainly make sense that there are places like that. You've never heard of catholic recovery centers for alcoholic priests and nuns?
Sooooo.....you're clairvoyant?As a teen, I attended a catholic church with a catholic friend.
I saw the priest rolling his eyes while he was speaking. As if he thought the religious words coming out of his own mouth were bs.
I'm always amazed how ONE 'episode'...right or wrong...can 'shape' our views about the 'whole'. ONE priest chastises someone...must be ALL priests who feel the same way...ONE man takes advantage of a woman...must be ALL men who take advantage of women...ONE woman is a 'gold-digger'...must be ALL women are 'gold-diggers'...That experience has always stuck with me and shaped my views of catholicism more than anything else.

ONE priest rolling his eyes does NOT mean the entire Catholic clergy would do the same thing.
And it would be an unFAIR judgment to draw that conclusion based on ONE...
My grandmother was a horrible woman. She was also Catholic. SHE ALONE turned me OFF to Catholicism. I thought, "If being Catholic means being like HER, I want NO PART of this!" Once she died, I STOPPED going to church...
Then, a few years later, I "grew UP". I realized that one woman's attitude/beliefs/behavior was NOT representative of ALL Catholics. In the meantime, I tried Protestantism...didn't work for me. I tried Judaism. Again, it didn't work for me. I tried reading the bible, in its entirety...and suddenly, the LIGHT went on! Luckily, Catholicism is NOT Sola Scriptura. So, I 'extended' my research to the church 'fathers'...
Catholicism ain't perfect by any means. But to *me*, it seems to be closest to the truth.
Why do papists always resort to implausible "plausible deniability"? Of course, we can tell if what we sip is juice or booze. Our senses are not always reliable. And I know that from personal experience. That's one reason why manufacturers put expiration dates on many perishables...including some beverages...including some wines.
Unfamiliarity with the facts is not a valid argument against them.Recovery centers specifically for alcoholic priests and nuns? In all honesty, no. I've never head of anything like that. But that doesn't mean there aren't any. And it would certainly make sense that there are places like that.
Considering alcohol is involved with countless accidental and intentional deaths, as well as enslaving 1 out of every 7 to life-destroying addiction, I'll not even dignify this accusation of irrationality with a response.Look, I get that some people abhor alcohol. But to make the claim that alcohol is "impure, corrupted, poisonous and deadly" is making an irrational judgment.
And papists refuse to acknowledge God told us not to even look at booze, much less drink it.The difference that you don't seem to want to acknowledge is that alcohol can be consumed safely.
Why do you insist He drank booze when no evidence for this has been discovered? What would you do if you discovered that Christ really DID drink wine and not "grape juice"?
He doesn't join clubs - we join His club by agreeing to and complying with the terms of membership.Would he no longer be invited into your 'club'?
And, do you not understand the catholic church can't possibly be Christ's end time church of today?
Christ's "remnant" aka "end times" church will be identical to the church He established and keep the same commandments, according to Revelation 12:17 KJV and Revelation 14:12 KJV.
Catholicism by her own words disqualifies herself as that church, seeing she makes it her boast that she's changed Christ's laws and demands catholics adhere to the laws of the church, not the laws of Christ.
There's no other way around this truth: the papacy (the union of catholicism and the secular authorities) is not Christ's church - it's the antichrist system of Bible prophecy from which God is calling sincere catholics out: "Come out from her, MY PEOPLE, that ye be not partakers of her sins and receive not of her plagues".
As if he thought the religious words coming out of his own mouth were bs.
The book of James is a problem.
According to what I've read, not only will the "papacy rise again" but non-catholics will extend their full support - because satan is going to counterfeit Jesus' Second Coming and point to the papacy as "God's representative on Earth".
Since, unfortunately, most "protestants" who no longer protest have swallowed Jesuit "Left Behind" Futurism or Jesuit "Long Ago" Preterism and don't know a single thing about Protestant "Light of Truth" Historicism which brought Christianity out of the darkness of the Dark Ages during the glorious, God-ordained Protestant Reformation, doing so won't require much effort.
I just put you on ignore.

BUT HE WAS HOOKED ON UPPERS... (TRUE). His doc prescribed them back in the 50s
Don't ya just wonder why people will listen to something said/written when it sounds like common sense to them?He was rolling his eyes at the catholic doctrine which is BS... bad speech!
Not for the Lord Who spo0ke it... it's not.
The reason some don't accept the book of James is because... it's doesn't agree with the false doctrine.
They ignore other portions of scripture too and for the same reason.
It's called... being a Cherry Picker!

Yep, that's already happening as many claiming to be Christians are now accepting catholics and they unbiblical teachings as being Christian.
Anytime I hear someone in person claim the catholics pope if God's representative on earth... I laugh out loud!
This Luther?Another reason why they don't like for me to visit any of their false churches.
Yeah, I'm sure he's all tore up about that View attachment 38145

Yeah, lots of folks take anything a doctors says or does as being all good.
Well, if they had an ounce of evidence I could be convinced.... but word of mouth????
This Luther?
So, you believe that Gentile Christians should be circumcised according to James, Acts 15:1-21.He was rolling his eyes at the catholic doctrine which is BS... bad speech!
