I was just quoting another poster who said Adam had the same nature as Christ..they were both born/ created without a sin nature.....how would they know this firstly?

Secondly it’s not biblical.

Actually, I think this is true, and is Scriptural.

Jesus did not have a sin nature or the flesh.. He, Like adam, was born/created without one.

"the flesh", I think this is stemming from the idea that "the flesh" in the New Testament isn't saying our bodies, but is speaking of some "sin nature" that imposes itself upon us.

Personally, I think our bodies are born damaged (in particular our brains, but that may not be all), and this is the corruption of the flesh, in which we are bent towards sin.

Adam's flesh was innocent and good, just like God made it. Sin corrupted him, and that corruption applied to all humanity. When God created Man, I think He created Adam, and all who would be born from him.

Jesus took on flesh uncorrupted by sin.

12) Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

14) Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come.

Hmm so DEATH doesn't happen the moment or 'the 24 day' you sin? Nope, not even since the ANTEDILUVIAN AGE

16) And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.

Personally, I believe these words as written.

How do you reconcile these truths? By simply denying one of them? That God told Adam . . . on that day . . . you know.

He did come in the same likeness of the same sinful flesh we all have . YET HE himself without sin .
HE had to come and overcome for our sakes what we could not overcome by the flesh .
HE had to be made in our same flesh . To save those in that same flesh what we could not save ourselves from , and that is death .
Jesus was tempted in all points , BUT HE NEVER SINNED . But he was made in the same likenss of our flesh .
The bible proves this . Yet again HE never sinned once . not even once . nope not even once .

He came in the flesh

Not in the sinful flesh. Adam did not touch him through the father. Hence sin did not pass to him

Notice the serpent said NAY , NAY ye surely wont die . NOW WHO ENDED UP RIGHT .

Why would God command Adam to not eat if Adam had no choice in the matter, and would in fact eat, being "ordained by God" to do so?

What do you make of Eve having been deceived and Adam not? To me this distinction demonstrates Adam's choosing to eat.

My point being.....there are differing opinions..

That was all I was trying to convey.

I’m not here to agree with others and follow them....I’m here to be led by the Holy Spirit into God’s truth.
