I think the issue right now is they are not yet in God's favor until they acknowledge their Messiah. Have they asked God to retaliate? Has he answered them?

When it is mentioned in the end time here, in Eze 38 and 39 for example it is being invaded! Other places it is mentioned over two thirds of them will die. Other places it mentions their women will be ravished etc etc. The time God restores and protects them is after they are saved. Most of Israel will not make it to that time sadly.
