eph 4: 30 and do not grieve the HS by which we have been sealed unto the day of redemption.

Yes we grieve him..
The good thing is he understands where we were and where we are today.

We belong to him and arehis sheep...who go astray from time to time..or should that read..or did go astray at one time....Praise God we are now back in fellowship with him through the Spirit.

oh I know

God brought me to the end of my rope. I was ready to kill myself.. I was at a dead end.. That is when God had my best friend growing up who I had not heard from in over 4 years call me..

That call rescued me..
Amen!!...completely understand all that you say here...Praise God...he NEVER took his eyes off you!!...

You do realize this is not the same as YOU forsaking and leaving him, right?

Just because Jesus is faithful does not mean YOU are faithful. And if faith is irrelevant, this universalism must be correct doctrine.
lol,

Yet he never left nor forsook me, even after 5 years.

You can call it universalism all you want.

When he said we have eternal life, He meant it

When he said we will never die, he meant it

When he said we have the pledge or seal of the spirit until resurrection day. he meant it

When he said he who began a good work will complete it.. he meant it.

You want to think you control your salvation. feel free..

My salvation is in the hands of God..

Amen!!
But the legalists in the room would say I lost my salvation then..
I know....you gotta laugh at that

Lets pretend a person who is in Christ can walk away from Christ.

Lets acknowledge that those who walked away were never of us. because if they were of us, they never would have left. (1 john)
Yup!!!

Praise God for that truth...which we have in our Hearts..the Living word of God.

Which can NEVER be erased.

The power of yes is the power of no. If we can walk to Christ, we can walk away from Christ. Jesus said we are the salf of the earth but salt that has lost its flavor will be thrown away; branches that do not bear fruit will be thrown in the fire. What do you suppose Christ was talking about?

We must be birthed into Christ?

How does that happen?

1st. walking to christ is more than just walking toward him.

second. God does not fail us. to say you TRUST HIM, then to say you lost faith in him. is contradictory

we lose faith in people who fail us.. or people we actually never really trusted to begin with

which is why John said, they were never of us.

No, it's not. LOL

A is A. A is not > A.

You want to confuse the trustworthiness of God with our free will to choose to sin - evern after repenting to Christ.

Amd I almost did not notice that you did not actually answer my questions.

ah so where we have it

You think your sinless right? (I forgot)

So to you it is not just walking away and becoming a non believer. it is knowing to do right, yet choosing to sit on the couch and not doing it. because your tired..
