Did you notice the issue of death in that chapter?

For if, because of one man’s trespass, death reigned through that one man, much more will those who receive the abundance of grace and the free gift of righteousness reign in life through the one man Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17.

We know that Christ, being raised from the dead, will never die again; death no longer has dominion over him. Romans 6:9

For our sake God made Jesus to be sin who knew no sin, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

Paul is bringing your mind to a fundemental point in his argument, one which many Christians shrink back from...

Can you see now how sin was represented in the body of the Lord?

Can you also see the need for God to remove it?

Paul here in Romans 5 explains how liberation from death for humanity came about. This liberation given ensures where the glory belongs, namely Jesus.

The alarming thing I find is, in spite of this unprecedented demonstration re the nature of God, men still insist on putting the attention and the focus on themselves ie, what they consider their right theology, their right organisation, how many others have it wrong, etc etc....basically their works.......and it matters little if they are right or wrong. The problem is demonstrated in where their attention and glory is (ie, in themselves) There is also the unwillingness to relinquish this self glorifying power over them.
This tells me in truth where their allegiance is.

If Jesus had death working in him, in his members, then he was weak like you and I...!

For Jesus was crucified in weakness, but lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but in dealing with you we will live with him by the power of God. 2 Corin 13:4

We have a shared weakness, which if understood correctly should remove all that "organisational" stuff and be the ultimate leveller! Sad part is they turn him into a god, and all these lessons are lost! His fight becomes meaningless, and God's victory is over what? Himself?

It's in that shared weakness that our allegiance must be otherwise how can you do Galatians 5:24 “And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.”

O...and the way sin was represented in the Jesus was the condemnation of death which he was under...like you he shared this also...God needed to show death whose boss! He did this in putting an obedient man to death that its power would be removed justly according to God's commandments.

If this was ever understood by you you would draw to some seriously difficult conclusions.

God never put anyone to death, let alone Jesus. Men murdered him. Death is not God's game. He is the giver of life not the purveyor of death. Death is an enemy.

Ahhhh, buckets of what you deem good advice ie, telling people what to do. This is your real focus. I see it as a decoy; a distraction from good news in spite of your rhetoric. God Sanctifies…MAKES Blameless, (Sinless), MAKES Anew (Sinless)…the WHOLE of man..

WHOLE spirit

Christ IS the TITLE of Gods POWER, and the TITLE of Jesus.

God didn’t HAVE a baby…He SENT His Word forth out of His Mouth…..He SENT His Word to Earth, without His POWER’ TITLE being revealed TO mankind…..
THEN REVEALED JESUS IS THE CHRIST, The POWER OF GOD.

Don’t you KNOW God is omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent ?
