Verse 9 Jack - just have a go...what's the worst that can happen? You twist it and get it wrong.Already did. God called His Son "God".

Verse 9 Jack - just have a go...what's the worst that can happen? You twist it and get it wrong.Already did. God called His Son "God".
There you go. God called His Son "God"!@Jack the longer you avoid those questions them more you lose credibility in this discussion.
You have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy.”
Why dont you try and ask questions of the text:
Does God have a God?
Does God have companions?

You mean the verse where God called His Son "God"? lolVerse 9 Jack - just have a go...what's the worst that can happen? You twist it and get it wrong.
Blessing, and honour, and glory - not worship, right?Revelation 5:13 KJV
And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
The same worship given to the Father is also given to the Son.
Much love!
There you go. God called His Son "God"!
I have. God told the angels to WORSHIP Jesus.@Jack You (Jesus) have loved righteousness and hated wickedness; therefore God, your God, has set you (Jesus) above your companions by anointing you (Jesus) with the oil of joy.”
Needed to fill in the gaps for you Jack!
Let's try again.that's a knee slapper Jack!
Speaks to the Son's oneness with the Father doesn't it? -- Biblically understood, and properly limited -- is clearly implied.Let's try again.
Hebrews 1
6 But when He again brings the firstborn into the world, He says: "Let all the angels of God worship Him."
Amen Jesus!!! You are God!
Of course, Father and Son are God. Only God is to be worshiped! Jesus is God.Speaks to the Son's oneness with the Father doesn't it? -- Biblically understood, and properly limited -- is clearly implied.
He was exalted above the Angels which of course does not infer he is God only that his position as Son demands their worship.
It was a try..not a nice try though!

Yes oneness in Character absolutely Jack...it will be amazing when one day the Elect will be as Christ in the earth, imagine that!Of course, Father and Son are God. Only God is to be worshiped! Jesus is God.
John 14
9 Jesus said to him, "Have I been with you so long, and yet you have not known Me, Philip? He who has seen Me has seen the Father; so how can you say, 'Show us the Father'?
Mad at you? I'm trying to pull you from the Kingdom Hall hallway to everlasting fire.Yes oneness in Character absolutely Jack...it will be amazing when one day the Elect will be as Christ in the earth, imagine that!
John 17:7 Now they know that everything you (God) have given me (Jesus) comes from you (God).
Jack....
John 17:20 “My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in me through their message, 21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. (character and purpose NOT person!)
Do you believe you are me and me you, Jack? Do you believe we will be Jesus? God?
Maybe there is another way to interpret these verses that you haven't considered?

You took the words right out of my mouth......no worship. Jesus rightfully received obeisance as the son of God, but he did not accept worship from anyone.....he told the devil that all worship was to go to his Father, Jehovah. (Luke 4:5-8)Blessing, and honour, and glory - not worship, right?
Again you support someone who doesn't believe Jesus is THE Savior! See how God exposes you JW's!You took the words right out of my mouth......no worship. Jesus rightfully received obeisance as the son of God, but he did not accept worship from anyone.....he told the devil that all worship was to go to his Father, Jehovah. (Luke 4:5-8)
@Wrangler...why didn't this ravenous lion (devil) just eat Jesus? LOL the fairy tales Christians believe is astounding! You took the words right out of my mouth......no worship. Jesus rightfully received obeisance as the son of God, but he did not accept worship from anyone.....he told the devil that all worship was to go to his Father, Jehovah. (Luke 4:5-8)
Isn't it wonderful how easily God exposes JW LIES!You took the words right out of my mouth......no worship. Jesus rightfully received obeisance as the son of God, but he did not accept worship from anyone.....he told the devil that all worship was to go to his Father, Jehovah. (Luke 4:5-8)
As @Wrangler has mentioned, there is no “worship” mentioned there. “Blessing, honor and glory” can rightly be given to anyone whose position warrants it. “Worship” however, is exclusive to Yahweh.Revelation 5:13 KJV
You mean Wrangler who denies that Jesus is THE Savior? As @Wrangler has mentioned
It appears that Kingdom Hall recruits illiterates., there is no “worship” mentioned there. “Blessing, honor and glory” can rightly be given to anyone whose position warrants it. “Worship” however, is exclusive to Yahweh.
You read into scripture what you want it to say. Try ditching false theology and allow the Bible to explain itself.
