Check out the video @ 4:20 And 4:30, and 4:45

The power of the cross does the demolition of our shack and the resurrection life of Christ establishes us as a temple of the living God.

One must accompany the other. No death...no life. No demolition? No temple.
No cross no salvation

no salvation. no resurrection to life

no resurrection to life. no change of life, and no ability to become Christ like.

the cross is the beginning and the end..

John said it is the fact we KNOW we HAVE eternal life. that we continue to believe in his name, which empowers us to walk in him, through all aspects of life through all tribulations.. because as paul said, in light of eternity. this life is but a momentary light affliction.

Dont forget the man you are responding to BELIEVES there is no NEED TO EVEN BELIEVE ON JESUS CHRIST .
And as such I WONT HEED A WORD HE has to say . That is ANTI GOSPEL and it is ANTI CHRIST .
And if that sounds rough then allow me to remind us of what JOHN said .
IF any comes and brings not this doctrine ..........
OR how about this reminder from JOHN .
WHO is a liar , BUT HE WHO DENIES JESUS IS THE CHRIST , he is anti christ .
THEMS JOHNS WORDS . Now do we believe the bible or EPI . exactly . I will not heed a word this man has to say
TILL HE REPENTS and says ALOUD to all , YE MUST BELIEVE BELIEVE BELIEVE IN JESUS CHRIST
and then i will test his teachings . BUT TILL HE admits that TRUTH , THERE IS NO TRUTH IN HIM .

Those who are Christ's have the flesh crucified.

And those who are Christ's have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Let us not become conceited, provoking one another, envying one another. Gal. 5:24

This translation isn't exactly right. Nobody can crucify themselves...it is both physically and spiritually impossible to do so. The translation is actually an interpretation when it says "have crucified the flesh"...It should read "have the flesh crucified". Maybe a subtle difference...but one that makes a lot of difference when considering who is doing the crucifying. It is the cross of Christ, not our cross.

They have to be made into a new creation first. adopted into Gods family. Born again.

To the trenches its all out war for the souls of men and JESUS CHRIST alone IS the only name the lambs shall point too .
Loving and embracing all things HE did teach and later the apostles , under influence of the SPIRIT , did teach .
Let the LORD be praised and thanked .

We have the choice - remain where we are - settled on our lees, or we can hunger and thirst for righteousness. We have fallen from our first love (for Christ) and ignore the fact that Christ spits out the lukewarm as they make Him vomit. They are the children of disobedience and their end is dire if they do not turn.

those who are born again are not as they were before.

2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.

so they already made the choice. and have been made new because of that choice.

Are you saying they are made into the full stature of Christ? Are you saying they begin the race perfect as God is perfect?

Paul must have been very confused to think he still needed to "win Christ.' Not mature and as well informed as you are.

I am saying, Just like in the OT. That when God looks at them, He sees his son..

We will never be as good as Christ in this lifetime, tha'ts another one of your major flaws. you have no understanding of redemption or justification

The same paul that said to be absent from the body is to be present with the lord.. The same paul that said he has recieved every spiritual blessing in Christ Jesus?

I know paul was worried, as are many, that he would do something that would make him unfit to teach the word. But he never doubted who he was in christ and where his eternity would be

Those who have fallen from their first love ie how you were when you first came to Christ:

So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth.
I will spue thee out.

Revelation 2:5
Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.

Jeremiah 14:19
Hast thou utterly rejected Judah? hath thy soul lothed Zion? why hast thou smitten us, and there is no healing for us? we looked for peace, and there is no good; and for the time of healing, and behold trouble!

Jeremiah 15:1-4
Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth…

He is no longer a new creation and in Christ. He has fallen from that state.

Um no.

those who have fallen from their first love is those who forgot where they came from.. or what Christ did from them.

And they can not fall from being a new creature. they did not make themselves that new creation. they can not unmake themselves..

You interpret it as you may. If you have not gone on to perfection then you have forgotten where you came from. Oh the carnal mind! Looks but does not see or hear. So many warnings in scripture that are annulled.

I interpret the promises of God based on his work by what he says

He says I will never perish,. I believe him

He says I have eternal life, I believe him

he says I was not given a spirit of fear but of a sound mind, I believe him

He says I have been justified, I believe him

He says I have been born again, I believe him

He says I have been given every spiritual blessing under heaven, I believe him

He says I have the seal of the spirit as a guarantee, I believe him

He says I have passed from life to death, I believe him

he says I have been redeemed, I believe him.

He says this and so much more, and I believe every word he says.

Now if I stop believing him, or make a liar out of him that I can somehow change back to being unborn again, or return to be dead.. then I make him a liar.

You do what you want.

I will trust in God.

Taken in context, the promises are for those in the promised land. Looking at the history of the children of Israel, most did not reach it. The whole of scripture is about God pleading with His people to repent and be restored. Why is there so much in scripture about this?

You are trusting in your own understanding and ignoring the many warnings of scripture.

"Crucify" here is a Active Voice verb, which means that this is in fact saying those who are Christ's have actually crucified themselves. Now whether that fits your views or not I can't say, but this is a plainly stated passage. All the verbs in this passage are active voice. Let's not change that, OK?

Much love!
