…. says the man whose ministry is to tell sinners that that there is no accurate Bible they can read on the planet.
Objection ... asked and answered:
Do you teach sinners to trust an error filled Bible?
No, I teach sinners to place their trust in an error-free Savior. The Bible is just a book about Him.
Paul said that salvation was to be found like THIS:

Romans 10:9-10 [KJV]
That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

... Salvation comes from JESUS, not a book.

Romans 10:9
New King James Version

9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.

I also think speaking the truth in kindness and love works. I need that reminder when I get angry at my oldest brother. Thanks.
38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Wow, such ignorance! How do you think the Disciples won people? How do you think blind deaf and dumb people find Jesus?
Why do you think many many others who think will be first will in fact be last. Do you think it's because they had the wrong translation? ....and those who are deemed last will be first....how do you think that happens?......cuz, of course Jesus carried a bible under his cloak 24/7.....don't you hear him giving chapter and verse at every opportunity? Which translation do you think it was?
You CANNOT win souls by telling them their Bible has errors in it. Period. It won't work.

You have to pick one to get them to have faith in what they are reading.

It’s up to you to find a translation that your heart tells you is accurate…..this tells God a lot about you and how much the truth is attractive to you, although the majority prefer to believe something taught by Christendom. Every Christian is tested for life under the rulership of the kingdom of God. How much do we accept the unpopular truth, compared to the popular lies? God knows……
This is an admission that you don't think there is a single translation that represents God's pure word.

Objection ... asked and answered:
You even got your plan of salvation for sinners wrong.

Here is the message to sinners to be saved....

38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

You can't skip it and give an epistle to sinners.

You folks definitely are not soulwinners.

Bible is error prone and epistles for sinners, skipping Acts.

All we need is the Bible definition. So a Christian is a born again child of God (John 1:12,13). But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

Children of God are followers of Christ who do what He has said.
Bingo no new birth no Christian. :)

Acts 2:38 is your plan of salvation. Romans 10:9 is to affirm your faith after Acts 2:38. You have to confess and believe daily to survive.

This is an admission that you don't think there is a single translation that represents God's pure word.
Is it? It is a statement of my belief that many modern English translation can be relied upon to teach God’s truth.....even the KJV, which is what I studied when I first became a student of the Bible. It was only when I began to compare other translations with interlinears and concordances that the glaring errors of the KJV became apparent. It’s how I discerned when doctrine was woven into the words of scripture because Greek phrasing and words were sometimes difficult to translate accurately. The translators took advantage of the difference to convey statements about a lot of things that simply were not true....supporting doctrines that were adopted from pagan ideas.

You have to know the Bible’s overall theme and the teachings of Christ as a Jew, to an exclusive Jewish audience. If you don’t know what Jews believed about the “soul” and the “spirit”.....or what “hades” and “Gehenna” meant, you will wander off into Christendom’s woeful additions just as Judaism wandered off and merited Christ’s adverse judgment. (Matthew ch 23) He condemned the Pharisees to “Gehenna”....a word lost in translation in many English Bibles.

If you continue to insist that the KJV is the only accurate translation, you will lose so much of what the original languages taught, and swallow what the translators wanted God’s word to say. You will never see the big picture.

Can I ask you a couple of questions?......
Since the theme of Christ’s entire ministry was “the kingdom of God”, (Matt 24:14) can you tell me precisely what that “kingdom” is, and what is “the good news (gospel) of the kingdom”, that we are instructed to tell others?

If Jesus taught us to pray for God’s Kingdom to “come” so that God’s will can be “done on earth as it is in heaven”.....what was it that he was teaching us to pray for? How does the kingdom “come”? How is that outcome accomplished?

Again, you don't think there is a single pure word of God in your posession.

You won't name one.

Fickle.

@Truther......Are you dodging my questions? This is Christianity 101.....simple questions that every Christian should know.
How would you answer? How often have you prayed the Lord’s Prayer without knowing what it means?
Again, you don't think there is a single pure word of God in your posession.

Fickle? What a strange attitude you have.....that’s like asking a parent who their favourite child is....

I won’t name a favourite translation because I like several. And my favorite might not be other people’s favorite.
We all know your favorite, yet it is not the choice of those who value accuracy over tradition.
The Bible was not written in archaic English and no one speaks that language anymore. I already told what Paul said about that.....remember?

I want you to name a translation you consider the pure word of God.

If you cannot, then you are existing as a Bible basher.

Interesting......can’t answer those simple questions huh?....so you create strawmen.....smoke screens.
OK, your response answers a lot of questions for me. Your silence is deafening....

I already told you that I like a variety of translations. I study and compare and I use interlinears and concordances.....was there something I said that you didn’t understand?
Do your own research and find the one YOU consider most accurate.....one that actually uses the language that all English speakers use in this 21st century.

Again. I ask you simple questions that all Christians should know right at the start of their Christian life and yet “you cannot” answer them....what does that make you? You seem to be big on accusations and yet short on basic knowledge.

I see no point in further discussion with an ostrich.....all Bibles convey God’s message of truth....it’s just that some convey it more accurately than others. Knowing where the inaccuracies are takes careful study.....something you are apparently not interested in doing. Your choice.

Goodbye.
