That is true, but that particular verse is about the apostles. Do you believe Jesus ordained you? Really?
He chose me of course i believe that, or as you say “ ORDAINED “ me...all according to his purpose and his plan...I was chosen to glorify God....not glorify myself as you keep doing!..

God has revealed things to me that would blow your mind....unfortunately I can’t share them “ YET” all in God’s timing!

God has shown me the things to come, through the Spirit..and it has all been falling into place...Godis in CONTROL!...not YOU or I. I hope you know that in your spirit?

The Hoy Spirit is the one who speaks through me, he gives me the words to say, I have to wait on his words, which I have been doing, in a certain area of my life...I cannot speak in the flesh...only in the Spirit...so, all the glory goes to God...not me!!...there isNO glory in you or I!

Interesting accusation. I'm not the one who is claiming a verse to the disciples for myself.

And with that, I doubt I will read the rest. Going back to bed...

I am a disciple for the Lord...I have been birthed in the Spirit......that is your interpretation of that scripture....mine is different......I’m claiming that verse as a Born Again/ Disciple.....not as you say, “ For myself”.......you did say you play your part in bearing fruit, did you not?

How is that an accusation?

Please explain how you play your part in bearing fruit?

Then I will have a better understanding of what you are saying, maybe.?

The Holy Spirit is the fruit bearer in “ US” the Born Again as we see here.

Galatians 5:22
Audio Crossref Comment Greek
Verse (Click for Chapter)
New International Version
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

New Living Translation
But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness

John 13:34-35

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.

Galatians 5:22-23

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Luke 14:27

Whoever does not bear his own cross and come after me cannot be my disciple.

Matthew 5:16

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.

1 Corinthians 13:1-3

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.

Salvation is not based on our behavior at all.
Its based Christ's finished work on the Cross.

This is false. We will be judged by OUR own works....not the works of Christ. You are promoting lawlessness as per Jesus' warning.
How is it that a saved sinner, who is now a Saint that is found "in Christ". runs around years later, thinking they are now the finisher of their Salvation, when they never saved themselves to begin with.. ??

Progresive sanctification is another huge error. Nobody improves themselves into the holy walk. It is by grace through faith. We are translated into the higher kingdom walk when our sacrifice is accepted by God
How is it that the same good deeds you can do, not being born again, become to some self righteous people, their "righteous works'.
= Why dont they realized that if you give to the poor for 45 yrs as a lost hell bound water baptized sinner....... and now 46 yrs later, you give to the poor as a born again, 1 yr old Christian, that this FRUIT, this GOOD DEED, is exactly the same in both cases.
"works".

This is as false as can be. We are not to have diverse measurements. He who does righteousness is righteous. Religious affectations don't count in righteousness. Good works are not wrong. We are created to do them. Read your bible.
Im am always amazed to read how someone believes that their good deed-ism, after they are saved, has now become to them "doing righteousness", when they could have done the very same DEEDS, when they were not saved.., and many did.

Of course. And these have equal value...whether a person is "saved" or not. God is not a respecter of persons. An act is an act.
That they can't understand that God does not view our LIFESTYLE and our DEEDS as "righteous" or "righteousness", EVER.... is not going to change, in their head.

You need to change your head on this. Peter said that doing righteousness and fearing God makes one acceptable to God. Somebody here said that Peter had not yet learned enough at that point...putting their own vain intellect above the bible...as we see among so many armchair theologians here.
Some people, will never ever understand that Salvation is not us doing it, but its Jesus who DID IT, already.
No. Salvation is what God is DOING NOW through people. We will be judged by our works. If we did righteousness, we will be saved. If we did the works of Jesus through grace...then we have a reward. If we claim to be holy when we are still sinful, we will be rejected and cast into outer darkness as a vessel of dishonour...saved, yes...but to a perpetual shame.

When we have been birthed in the Spirit...we are then saved....maybe you mean being sanctified...we are continually being made into the image of Jesus, we aren’t continually being saved....imo/ belief.

We are not saved by "bearing fruit"..

"bearing fruit" is a part of our discipleship, its not a part of God's Salvation.
False as can be. If we don't bear fruit we are cast into the fire.

Matt. 7
17 Even so every good tree brings forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree brings forth evil fruit.
18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19 Every tree that brings not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20 Wherefore by their fruits you shall know them.
21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Salvation is Christ on the Cross, bearing your sin, in your place, so that you can be made worthy to be accepted by God, Forever.

No. We are not made worthy by something Jesus did. We are made worthy by obedience and surrender. We are not made worthy by having a high esteem of ourselves based on our religious beliefs. Quite the opposite.
Jesus said He gives to the BELIEVER.... "Eternal Life"... and that is not TEMPORARY or based on "bearing fruit".

We enter into eternal life by entering into the kingdom realm of the Spirit. Eternal life is to be In Christ...and walk where He is...in Zion.
This is not related to your "fruit bearing" or your self effort that you do after you are born again.

How can you not understand that God accepts a SINNER, .. .saves a SINNER.......not a "fruit bearer".

Sinful holiness is your specialty.
Listen, Salvation is not based on YOU., so its not KEPT by you.

Blessed is he that keeps the commandments.
Its a GIFT from God, and we dont earn, work for, or KEEP a Gift, as this gift is SPIRITUAL and based only on The Cross.
You receive a gift and USE it unto the saving of the soul. Burying your gift...just to have it and claim it, has dire consequences. God is looking for fruit. To whom much is given MORE is required.

Bearing an eternal type of fruit is a consequence of walking in an eternal life and power....by grace through faith.

Sanctification is an event...just like being born again. Just as no one grows into the new birth..so no one grows into holiness. Either you are holy or not. Can a person be 1/2 holy? No, a little leaven leavens the whole lump.

Purity is NOT the same as maturity. We grow in character, not in sanctification.

False as can be. If we don't bear fruit we are cast into the fire.

The only people who end up in Hell, then the Lake of Fire are these..

"If you do not believe im the Messiah, you will die in your sins">

And who are those?
Those are the people who never obeyed the Lord..... here.

Jesus said....>"You must be born again".

Jesus is Eternal life. So, to be joined spiritually to Jesus, is to become one with God.

How does this happen?

The law of the Spirit of life in Christ is the Gospel. The Gospel is spiritual. In the Gospel Jesus in our name and on our behalf has victoriously defeated sin, death and the devil. We are complete in him, Colossians 2:10.

But wait. We are still here on this sinful planet in these sinful Adamic bodies that are prone to sin, waiting for the redemption of our bodies, Romans 8:23. I would like to be free from sin, but the "flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh so that I cannot do the things that I would, Galatians 5:17. So, like Paul I struggle with sin, Romans 7:14-25. We have not arrived yet. It appears to me that you are trying to bring the not yet into the now.
@Robert Pate ~

You are arguing a Mystery of a Spiritual Conceptual Understanding with a Natural Logical Conclusion.

Logically the Flesh is NOT dead until the BODY ceases to Live.

Spiritually the Flesh IS DEAD when the BODY is Heartfully GIVEN to God, as in CRUCIFIED “WITH” Jesus’ BODY.
THAT individual THEREAFTER, “LIVES” IN Christ Jesus’ RISEN BODY. (Simply called “IN” Christ … as well called “PERFECTED” “IN” Christ.

Physically, Naturally, the mans “FORGIVEN”BODY of Flesh is STILL naturally ALIVE, as is his MIND, Which IS STILL hearing, learning, wavering, believing one thing, then changing what he believes day to day on all sorts of topics….believing lies, believing truths, discovering some truths are lies, some things promoted as lies are truths.
Those things affect the thoughts of the man’s MIND, (which IS revealed by Paul’s struggles to Mindfully think this or that, want to do this or that…then feel ashamed for NOT “consulting” his HEART’S thoughts on the matter.

It is The HEART’S “Spiritual” thoughts, that the Lord God CHANGES IN a “CONVERTED” man.

It is The MIND’S “Natural/Logical” thoughts, that a “CONVERTED” man struggles with…

A “Natural/Logical” MIND’S thoughts, IS naturally prone to PAYBACKS, PLOTTING REVENGE, for being WRONGFULLY treated.
Naturally, Mindfully, WANTING to carry out PAYBACK, PLOTS OF REVENGE, for being WRONGFULLY treated, IS the WAY a Natural Mind Logically concludes IS JUST.

* The TEACHING IS: To REECT Plots of Revenge.
* The TEACHING IS: Vengeance, Just Judgement, IS Appointed unto the Authority of the Lord God.
* The TEACHING IS: Believing IN the Lord God, IS a man doing the “works of God”.
* The TEACHING IS: Heartfull Confession IN the Lord God IS a man “Serving the Lord God”.
* The TEACHING IS: The Lord God “changes” the thoughts of the man’s HEART to parallel Gods thoughts of His truth.
* The TEACHING IS: It is the man’s own obligation to MAKE his own MINDS thoughts “subjected” to his CONVERTED HEART’S THOUGHTS (that which the Lord God has Changed to God’s TRUE thoughts.)

* Did Paul struggle with MAKING his own MINDS thoughts “subjected” to his CONVERTED Heart’s thoughts? Sure. So does every other CONVERTED man struggle the same.

* Physically a Converted man’s FLESH Body is still ALIVE. (And is Accounted in Numerous books and records of men.)
* Spiritually a Converted man’s FLESH Body is Forgiven (by God); Covered (with Gods Spirit), DEAD (Crucified); Washed (in Jesus’ Blood); Sanctified (set apart); Sealed (marked with KING Gods seal); Justified (accounted to be Claimed); Shall be Resurrected IN a new sinless Body (by Gods authority and power). (And is Accounted in the Lord Gods Heavenly Books and Records).

Debating Spiritual things from a Mindful Logical viewpoint is a distortion.

Glory to God,

Blessed is he that keeps the commandments.

Commandments can't save you.
If they could then Jesus didn't have to die for your filthy sins., Episkopos.

You receive a gift and USE it unto the saving of the soul.

Jesus on the Cross is the Gift of Salvation.
Receive Him, like this.. "all that call on the name of Jesus Shall be Saved".

"As many as Received Jesus.....God gave to them Power to become the Sons of God"

"The Preaching of the CROSS... is the power of God unto Salvation"

You certainly think He ordained you to "teach" yet you teach against the Security of the Believer, because you dont understand the Blood Atonement, nor do you understand that to be in spiritual union with Jesus is to be joined to Eternal Life, as HE is Eternal Life.
This does not end because of your behavior, as it was begun by your behavior.

Salvation is from God... Its a Gift, and its wholly based on the Cross of Christ.
This is why you go to Jesus, IN FAITH..... as He alone is our Salvation.

I came to bring peace...NOT as the world gives.
..?...please show me the scripture I asked for?

As such Paul can write, “For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you abstain from sexual immorality” (1 Thessalonians 4:3). He commands Christians to “present your members as slaves to righteousness leading to sanctification” (Rom 6:19). Because believers have been set free from their slavery to sin, “the fruit you get leads to sanctification and its end, eternal life” (Romans 6:22).
