Do you teach sinners to trust an error filled Bible? Some people believe things that are simply not true.
I don't believe in ghost.Of course the Holy Ghost and the Holy Spirit are synonymous. The question is, are you afraid of ghosts?
MGNT is closest to the Autographs, and the autographs are the pure word of God. (Although Jesus is the Word of God and can be found in any of the translations that I listed … or, absent ‘eyes to see’ courtesy of the Holy Sprit, none of the translations).Which one is the pure word of God?
No, I teach sinners to place their trust in an error-free Savior. The Bible is just a book about Him.Do you teach sinners to trust an error filled Bible?
Have you seen the autographs to compare it to?MGNT is closest to the Autographs, and the autographs are the pure word of God. I teach sinners they can count on the KJV as the pure word of God.No, I teach sinners to place their trust in an error-free Savior. The Bible is just a book about Him.
Which bible is “error free”?
LOL….you “KJV only” proponents are really a somewhat brainwashed crowd. You act as if God himself wrote every word in English, but it’s many errors betray it’s accuracy, especially in a world where archaic English is a dead language. It served its purpose when people spoke that language, but no one does anymore, so all it does is create confusion for the new Bible student. Modern translations convey the accuracy that is now missing when the English language has changed so much over the centuries. If the Bible says 93 times "Holy Ghost", you still don't believe in the Ghost?
Did you see something in the dark and are in denial?
No such thing as a Ghost?
Scary stuff, huh?
'The Pure Word of God' ...do you prefer the printed text to the Resurrected Jesus? No? then why not listen to him? Isn't that what the voice told the disciples on the mountain?Which one is the pure word of God?
Someone who actively decides to abide in Christ, and perfers to do Gods will. All while they are active in this world and doing what they have to to get by, working a job, or they recieve benefits, or they have their own buisness. Or they can not have any job, they will actively remain in Christ and produce fruit.I have been reading some stuff on this board, and I don't mean some things, I mean some stuff.(!)![]()
I just want to know, please indulge me, what everyone's definition of Christian is?![]()
Don't like that term, I prefer the Holy Spirit.Do you believe in a Holy Ghost?
Boo!LOL….you “KJV only” proponents are really a somewhat brainwashed crowd. You act as if God himself wrote every word in English, but it’s many errors betray it’s accuracy, especially in a world where archaic English is a dead language. 1 Cor 14:8-11….Paul summed it up this way….
”For if the trumpet sounds an indistinct call, who will get ready for battle? 9 In the same way, unless you with the tongue use speech that is easily understood, how will anyone know what is being said? You will, in fact, be speaking into the air. 10 It may be that there are many kinds of speech in the world, and yet no kind is without meaning. 11 For if I do not understand the sense of the speech, I will be a foreigner to the one speaking, and the one speaking will be a foreigner to me.”
He said it better than I could…..yet your ears are stopped up in your blind adherence to a Bible translation that most people cannot read with understanding. Accuracy is sacrificed for tradition.
You fail to understand that it isn’t the word “ghost” (from the German “Geist” meaning spirit) but the belief that “ghosts” are the spirits of the dead. This is not a Bible teaching, and to call God a “ghost“ is demeaning to him. He is a spirit, which is a vastly superior life form, incomprehensible to us earth bound mortals. He created other spirit beings, myriads of them, who dwell with him in that realm, unseen to us humans. These spirit “sons” serve their God in various capacities.
These spirits whom God created have free will like we do. God has no use for ‘robots’ who have no choices. He wants heart-felt compliance from all of his children because he knows better than anyone what is good for them. But he forces no one to obey him.
Satan was a spirit son who was faithful until he was tempted by his own beauty to crave the worship that God received from his human children. (Ezekiel 28:14-17) He seized the opportunity to become their ‘God’s by separating them from the real one and taking his place. He did that by lying to them…he is still lying to those who prefer to believe his lies rather than the truth of the Bible. The vast majority who identify as “Christians” in this time of the end, will be rejected because they failed to love the truth more than their indoctrinated traditions. (2 Thessalonians 2:9-12; Matt 7:21-23)
No pure word of God for you, huh?'The Pure Word of God' ...do you prefer the printed text to the Resurrected Jesus? No? then why not listen to him? Isn't that what the voice told the disciples on the mountain?
Sleep with the lights onDon't like that term, I prefer the Holy Spirit.
How is it you don't understand my words? No pure word of God for you, huh?
I clearly understand your words. We need more than voices in our heads that we think are the word of God. We need the pure word of God in book form. This will help guide the voices in our heads. How is it you don't understand my words?
The pure Word of God walked amongst us for 33 yrs. It was THIS pure word of God the voice from the cloud told us to 'listen to him'I clearly understand your words. We need more than voices in our heads that we think are the word of God. We need the pure word of God in book form. This will help guide the voices in our heads.
Do you not understand that the “pure word of God” must be understood in light of language that conveys what the original words say.....not what biased translators want it to say. Translations are just that.....they are supposed to convey what the original writers were inspired to record. The KJV in particular is one of the most biased translations in existence. There’s a list of its inaccuracies if you’re interested....No pure word of God for you, huh?
You would never in your lifetime even heard of Jesus if it were not for book form. The pure Word of God walked amongst us for 33 yrs. It was THIS pure word of God the voice from the cloud told us to 'listen to him'
They had the Prophets, the various ones, including Moses and Elijah and their written text; they showed up on the mountain with Jesus yet the voice from the cloud said 'This is my Son who I love, listen to him' Matthew 17
All I am asking for is which translation is the pure word of God so I can read it?Do you not understand that the “pure word of God” must be understood in light of language that conveys what the original words say.....not what biased translators want it to say.
