One verse says that Jesus saves ALL men. The other verse says that some men are punished forever. That is a glaring contradiction.

NO, it does NOT say what you THINK it does!

It says that Jesus Christ is THE SAVIOUR of the human race, because He is THE ONLY SAVIOUR, there is NO OTHER!

Acts 4:12 is clear on this

"Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other Name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.”

And Jesus Himself

John 14:6

"Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me"

The MAJORITY, says Jesus, will take the way that leads to destruction, the FEW, the way that leads to eternal life

"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it" (Matthew 7:13-14)

Never take ONE verse and ASSUME what it is MIGHT teach!

There is NO "universal salvation" taught in the Holy Bible

ALL sinners MUST first REPENT of their sins, and BELIEVE in the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as Jesus says in Mark 1:15

It says that Jesus is the savior of ALL men.

Does Jesus save all men or not?
Yes, All men who the Father has given him

Everyone the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will never drive away. John 6:37

At this rate I am doubtful you are part of the "everyone" with your current wrong teaching.

Everyone is not ALL peoples.
Everyone will not come to Jesus
AND the One who does will not be driven away

Those that dont? Whats the implication in the Masters teaching?

Boy, I cant believe I'm even saying this!

Let me ask you another question. What does the following mean?

Lamentations 3:31 ESV
For the Lord will not cast off forever
Chastening is necessary and helpful see Heb 12:11. This is true for the nation of Israel as it is for people today (Read Rom 11:1-6,25-27; Jer 31:37; Hos 14:4). You know its also the basis for Paul's comment in Rom 11:1! Even at a time when the people of Israel were in Babylon for their sins God had not forgotten them. So even though they had crucified their Messiah (Read Acts 2:23) the salvation that is available through the gospel is still available to them. Such is the love of the Father. However, not all will be saved!

Many are called but few are chosen.

It says that Jesus is the savior of ALL men.

Does Jesus save all men or not?

the first is YES, the second is NO

as I have said, Jesus Christ is the ONLY Saviour, but salvation is CONDITIONED on REPENTING of sins and FAITH in the Lord Jesus Christ

Jesus says the MAJORITY of humans will end up in hell. Judas who betrayed Jesus is NOT "saved", or in heaven, but in hell

“They (His Chosen) shall be mine, says the LORD of hosts, in the day when I make up my treasured possession, and I will spare them as a man spares his son who serves him.

God was taking out a people (them) from Israel for His name, just as He is from the Gentiles today (Acts 15:14:Happy:) - not all, a select number of chosen jewels.

Lets ensure we dont neglect our high calling!

Why did Paul say in 1 Corinthians 15 that Jesus must rule until all enemies are "under his (Jesus).feet"? What does that mean?

Means to bring his enemies into subjection to his rule!

This is the end when death and sin are swallowed up and those without the gate are destroyed.

Outside New Jerusalem "are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood" Rev 22:15

No Patrick they will not be saved!

Do you think this could be speaking of you Patrick? Do you love and practice falsehood? I guess if you beleive you are saved it doesnt matter what you believe, right?

if you are on about the Calvinstic teaching of "election", then you are wrong! This is unbiblical, man-made HERESY!

for the end of this world (age), when He will have Ultimate Rule over all. During the 1000 year (may not be literal time) Reign, Jesus Christ will Reign over both the saved and unsaved.
But that's not what it says. It says that Jesus must rule UNTIL "all of his enemies" are under his feet. Jesus is WAITING. Why is he waiting? If he was simply going to damn them to an eternity in Hell, he wouldn't need to wait. Jesus is waiting on ALL to come to repentance. Once ALL have to repentance, then Jesus will give the kingdom to God the Father who shall be "all in all" as Paul stated.

2 Peter 3:9
The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you,[a] not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
